WHAT THE this place is definitely recommended!! Decided to stop in and try out the Nashville Chicken Sandwhich to my surprise there where huge screens that you order from, how awesome! Your place your order via kiosk which is card only. Then another screen let's you know how long until you're order is up! There are employees also that are super friendly and helpful. Now let's get to the food, the sandwhich was delicious I got a combo with fries and the Arnold Palmer so good make sure you ask for there special sauce! On top of that they brought out a free shake for us to try which was also really great! Don't sleep on this place it's definitely my new favorite chicken sandwhich spot in Colorado. Great job guys! I have been hearing such good things about this place and definitely happy that I came. First of all I like how the set up is, right when you walk in you can order and pay in the computer. The variety that they give you is great. Sometimes I am afraid to try chicken sandwiches because the chicken can be to dry but the chicken here was not. I got the rancher which was delicious! The bacon jam that they put in really made the sandwich amazing! I also want to give a shout out to the variety of healthy drinks that they have. I love the different teas that they have. I will definitely be back I wanna bring my boyfriend! read more

Had no idea what to do for food one weekend so we decided to finally try this place after passing it a few times a week. I ordered the Southern chicken sandwich and my husband ordered the Rancher with tater tots on the side. I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't skimp on the pimiento cheese spread. The slaw is a bit lackluster, though. I ended up pulling some off because it was just too soggy for my liking. The Rancher looked great (he said it was) and I managed to steal a tater tot. They were seasoned and I was immediately saddened that I hadn't ordered my own tots. Husband likes the pickup system inside the restaurant. He said drive-thru gets really backed up due to the parking lot, so he opted to do a pick-up order and just run in the restaurant. We haven't tried curbside so I can't speak to it. All in all I was really pleased with the quality of the chicken. I did add some Kewpie mayo to mine once I was home (adds a nice balance to the pimiento cheese), but you can make additions/subtractions on their website. We will definitely be back! read more

Good chicken. Crap organic 'soda' (why can't you sell Coke products?). Sad to say the service has really gone downhill since I last reviewed. Need to up your game with all the chicken places popping up. read more

Yummmmmm! Ok I couldn't even take a picture of my chicken Caesar sandwich because I already devoured it. It was so good!!! Will go here again! But be warned their sodas are all organic. So maybe stick to water or one of their margaritas! read more

Two stops in at this place to check it out, mainly going with the chicken strips, and was left with it just being OK overall. The chicken is quality, but the breading is just blah to me, which might be for them to play around with the other flavors on the sandwiches where there is more going on, but I got the impression that the chicken was supposed to be the focal point of wow, and didn't get that in actuality. First time, I went with the Nashville hot and it was power-packed, almost overpowering. 2nd time I opted to try the Birdcall sauce. I should have asked more about the sauce instead of assuming it would be like other chicken places that go with a more southern style sauce. It looks like that in color, but The Birdcall sauce is more of a Thousand Island/hamburger like sauce, and I didn't think it was a great compliment to the fried chicken. Additionally, the food smelled like burned/old fryer oil and the breading was pretty dark, and the strips were a bit dry. read more

First time at Birdcall and had the Southern style. Slaw with Pimento cheese spread and a side of fries. The sandwich was so good I'll definitely makes this a regular stop. The fries were also really good, hot fresh and crispy. You will not be disappointed. So much better than McD's or other drive through places. read more

This spot is like a high tech + gourmet Chick-Fil-A with a drive thru and everything. They are the expediting champions. Food was so good! We loved their fries and all of our chicken sammies were so good. Don't be sleeping on their birdcall sauce and their birdcall bbq sauce. Hot dang they were good. Can't go wrong unless you get in a traffic jam in their parking lot. Happy Birdcalling! read more

This place has very many chicken sandwich options. A chicken breast was very meaty and juicy and a spice on the Nashville hot was adequate and so hot as to be too spicy. I wanted to try Nashville Hot Chicken while I was in Nashville at my parents place before I had the Nashville hot here. I am pleased to say that they seem to have got it down for a good rendition of Nashville hot that should appeal to people that like spicy chicken. read more

Birdcall - Gluten free 10 Piece Chicken Nuggets Banana Cream Pie Shake tater Birdcall Tots Fries - Chicken Shop Near Me - Denver, Colorado

This was our first time at Birdcall. We loved how everything was decorated and how you can order on the tablet, very modern and efficient. We ordered the Teriyaki sandwich with cold slaw, Nashville hot with tater tots, banana cream pie milkshake and a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie dough milkshake. The milkshakes were delicious! I also really enjoyed the avocado lime sauce. Everything else was just okay. We had a couple of minor issues with our order and had to go up to the front a couple of times. Not a big deal, the staff was very kind and accommodating. There was a women sitting behind me. She was a table away so only about five feet. I believe she was the owner. Staff member were going up to her and telling her some issue with something in the kitchen. She also greeted us when we got there and left. I overheard her talking about us. The music was loud so I couldn't hear everything but I heard enough to know she was talking about us. I find it pretty unprofessional to talk about a customer while we're still at the restaurant eating..especially since we were sitting only a table away. It honestly made us pretty uncomfortable. Uncomfortable enough to where we will not be returning. read more

CJ was awesome. The food was great, the service was amazing and everything was just beautiful!! Will be coming back !!!

The best chicken sandwiches in Denver. Hands down. I've had the Nashville Hot Chicken multiple times now and it was as juicy, crunchy, flavorful, and unexpectedly complex as my first bite. For the longest time, I had the Popeyes as the top chicken sandwich ever, but this replaces the Popeyes quite easily. That is all. read more

Back again just to update that I still absolutely love this location. Easily some of the nicest people you'll ever meet! The food is always amazing at this location and very fresh, with lots of gluten free options which I love! read more

Went here with my daughter and grandkids. You order from a computer screen. It is a nice little place with very good chicken sandwiches. They have a very nice selection of sodas that are not the run of the mill (many contained tumerac). It is close to the University, so you may have some boisterous kids in place as was the case when we were there with colorful language around kids. Of course that is not the fault of the restaurant...just be aware. read more

Exceptional customers service include a fun local product , they keep coming back with interesting and exciting chicken sandwiches !! 5 star

I've had some poor experiences with this location in the past, with some pretty poor tasting/quality sandwiches that do not live up to the hype. Now, about 6 months later, it seems like Birdcall has really got it together! Food has been stellar in three visits over the course of the last 4 weeks. Sandwiches were delicious, tots cooked to perfection and customer service was impeccable. For example, during my most recent visit, which occurred at close to midnight, right before the location closed, I called in an order. When I had arrived, I realized I[d left my wallet with all physical cards at home. Manager CJ was extremely kind and helpful getting me my food, even though their ApplePay system was not available for phone orders and I didn't have the ability to pay at the time. He gave me my meal for free, adding in some extra fries from an order that hadn't been picked up. The rest of the staff and team all seemed eager and happy to prepare my food, even though it was right before closing at such a late hour. The next day, I went back with an extra large tip to show my support for the incredible team and staff that helped me out, and they wouldn't even accept it. They told me to keep the money and to repay the store by coming back and bringing my friends. This level of customer service is truly unapparelled in the DU area for fastfood, and I am extremely grateful for CJ and his team. I will definitely be returning soon and the way Birdcall treats customers has made me a lifelong fan. Highly highly recommend, especially if you've had a poor experience here before. I didn't think my mind could be changed about my poor experiences months ago, but I'm very very glad I gave Birdcall a second chance. read more

Good service all in all. Good food and friendly staff. My order was on time . Will definitely come back

Excellent customer service; high-end casual "fast food," sourced from high-end ingredients (eg., Boulder chicken, local farmers). Delicious coffee, shakes, and adult beverages (also local), all at reasonable price point. Very impressed by the whole experience!! THANK YOU. read more

When this place first opened it had one of the best chicken sandwiches in town. Now it seems as a different establishment. Sandwiches are cold, no matter which one you order (had them all). Used to eat here 2-3 times/week. Not sure what happened but if you like their sandwiches now, you have no idea how good they used to be. Too bad. read more

I had been hearing great things about Birdcall from friends so I decided I had to try it! I tried their Asian Salad and Chicken Tenders, both were absolutely delicious!!! The salad had so much flavor and the ingredients tasted so fresh as if they had just been freshly picked from a garden, can't beat that! The chicken tenders definitely Rival their competitors in the chicken world as they are so moist on the inside but perfectly crisp on the out. I feel what really made them stand out is their unique selection of sauces, I actually got a few extra to try a good variety and each of them were very tasty! read more

Birdcall - Pickup Area - Chicken Shop Near Me - Denver, Colorado

Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich at Birdcall is the perfect ensemble chicken sandwich offering in Denver! Located near the DU campus , this small fried chicken sandwich shop serves up one of my favorite Nashville Hot Sandwiches in Denver. Unlike the Whole Food's location, this is a standalone shop, so after you order there is seating indoors or outside on their patio where you can enjoy your meal. This location is the only one in Denver that has a drive thru window. You can also place your order online, in person at the counter, using one of their iPad ordering systems or while sitting in your car using the QR codes posted at each parking spot. My go to order is the NASHVILLE HOT SANDWICH, extra hot. There are two reasons why I consider this sandwich as the perfect ensemble: the simplicity and the attention to detail. Its a very simple sandwich: bun, chicken, pickle. Birdcall does a great job at each of these three ingredients. The chewiness of the aspen bun complements the crispness of the juicy spicy chicken breast; I actually think they have the best bun in the chicken sandwich business as most others are too dry and flakey. And the pickles! The pickles have the perfect combination of sweet and tangy, to give you just the right amount of relief with each bite of spicy spicy hot chicken. read more

The service was excellent! Amazing cashier with great energy. The sandwich was... bland. Even with all those toppings and things to make it sound good, it's not that good. Not at all actually. I had the deluxe and I'm disappointed by the lack of flavor. It's either you love it or you hate it, but definitely wasn't worth the price. If you're going for the sandwich, go somewhere else. If you're going for the tenders, you may have a better experience. read more

Greatest drive thru ever! This place is bumpin and offers a lovely patio and indoor seating as well, but my favorite part is the drive through. It takes a little long but well worth the wait. The chicken is sooo good. It is not super breaded, just a little layer of thin and crispy on there to make it yummy. My second favorite part about this place is sauce situation. God love it. There are so many different sauces to choose from! If you pride yourself on your dipping skills then this place will be your jam too. I am still working on trying them all and will report back later with my favorites. Because I like to dip I favor the chicken tenders. These come in different quantities to cater to any appetite. I may have indulged in a shake as well on my last visit. Plain vanilla and it was so thick and creamy. Delicious! Get your butt in the car and get your drive thru on! read more

I'd like to give this place the benefit of the doubt during COVID times, but my last two visits here have been extremely disappointing. Missing items. Cold flimsy chicken. The worst of it all was getting blue cheese coleslaw mistakenly put on my Southwestern sandwich - which made me violently ill the entirety of the next day. Poor food handling? Letting toppings get to unsafe temps? Who knows. But dang, I didn't deserve that. I wonder if this location is under new management? There has been a recent shift in quality and accuracy from what I can tell. I'm a loyal patron but after two bad experiences in a row, I may need to re-evaluate. read more

Amazingly good, especially for the price! Not that much more than most fast food (even with delivery fees) and the ingredients are much better quality. My husband especially loves the buns. I will warn y'all though, Nashville Hot is HOT!! Was a bit too much for me--but that's not the restaurant's fault, just me overestimating my stamina. I could tell there was great flavor even under the heat though, so I definitely recommend it for spice lovers! read more

Twice now orders have been wrong. You get the "I'm sorry" from the workers when you walk back to complain about the order....but they just seem to not really care. First time we had a coupon to use due to our bad experience but decided against going back. Almost a year later we tried it again. Missed the buffalo chicken on the buffalo chicken salad!! And missed an order of fries. We live close by and walked to pick up our order. Never again. Plenty of other options in the DU neighborhood. Avoid. read more
