I am all in on chicken salad chick! I wish we had one in Denver that is closer to downtown but whenever I am in Greenwood Village or Littleton for work I stop here for lunch! I am slowly making my way through the menu and trying every chicken salad! Thus far I think the standouts are the kicker kay-Lyn and the Laura's lemon basil. I was genuinely excited to try this place since we don't have one where I live and social media made it seem like a must-visit. Unfortunately, it was a huge letdown... I love a toasted sandwich. I love melted cheese. What I do not love is hot meat and hot condiments, especially mayonnaise. I'm not even a big mayo fan to begin with, but I tolerate it where it makes sense (tuna, egg salad, chicken salad). Hot mayo, however, is a hard NO! Because I wanted a melt, I simply asked the very sweet young woman at the register whether the melts were just toasted bread with melted cheese, or if the chicken salad was toasted along with it (which... ewe!) Before she could even answer, a woman standing behind her (who appeared to be a manager) shot me an awful look and answered in a sharp, clearly annoyed tone that the chicken salad is topped with cheese and toasted. I responded that I don't care for hot mayonnaise or hot meat. I assumed the next response might be something like, "No problem, we can toast the croissant and add the chicken salad afterward." Instead, there was nothing. No suggestion, no alternative, no attempt at a compromise, just an apparent unwillingness to provide even the most BASIC level of customer service. For a place that specializes in chicken salad, you'd think accommodating a simple, reasonable request wouldn't be such a stretch. And I find it very hard to believe that I am not the only person who has ever asked for this simple deviation from the norm. SO, I went ahead and ordered it "as is" (not a melt) and of course I was disappointed. The croissant was dry and didn't taste overly fresh, the chicken salad was ok, a bit chunky for my liking but wasn't terrible. I also had a side of the macaroni and cheese which was pretty good and they give you a free cookie with your order which was VERY good! I've always wanted to try Chicken Salad Chick. Growing up in the South I grew up eating and loving chicken salad and once we moved away unless I made it myself I would rarely have it. So I was thrilled when I heard this restaurant was opening up near me! Restaurant is located at the Aspen Grove shopping center. It's decorated in a very feminine and cute way, but I think men would still be cool there. I got the Croissant Melt with Sassy Scotty on the sandwich. I got a cup of broccoli cheddar soup as my side. Also it came with a side of chicken salad and I picked the Classic Carol. Both salads were delicious but I preferred the Classic Carol. It also included a little sugar cookie which was fun! Solid lunch offerings. Was in the mood for a salad or sandwich and Chicken Salad Chick offered both plus soups and cake! I got the chicken salad blt on croissant. It came with chips. I wish the put mayo on the croissant or added packets. It was a little dry without and the salad in the croisssant could have used another scoop. They do offer do u want to add a scoop as a side and now I know why. Got the pimento cheese as a side and they dumped a ton of crackers in the bag so thank you! The pimento was good different but tasty with crackers. I got the strawberry salad and asked for no pecans and it came so I can't comment on that as I couldn't eat. I debated coming here on Grand Opening Day, bust since I had the day off, I figured why not? I'm glad I went. The first 100 people in line get a free chicken salad per month for a year! I was #32 in line. The staff was super friendly and handed out waters on a warm Colorado morning. After the ribbon-cutting, they came around with samples of the chicken salad. It's so good! The restaurant is clean, of course, with indoor and outdoor seating. You get a lot of options on how to create your meal. If you aren't sure about a flavor, ask for a sample and they'll give you one! The service was friendly and efficient, and I didn't have to wait long for my meal. They even throw in a cookie! The flavors are delicious and the arriving size is generous. I saw some posts a few weeks back when this first opened and the lines were out the door. Not many places have chicken salad or egg salad these days and I thought it was such a cute concept. I had no idea this was a chain though and it kind of explains a lot. I ordered the Chicken Salad BLT with a scoop of Olivia's old south and sides of egg salad and potato soup for lunch the next day. The BLT was ok, the chicken salad was super bland. Olivia's old south was pretty good though and the only item worth it. The egg salad was gross. No flavor and rubbery eggs. !this is a reflection on the specific location, not the chain itself! i live in texas, and there's a few locations near me. i've been blown away by their food, and really enjoy it when i need a quick, healthier pick-me-up. i visited my partner this week, and we decided to order from here. not sure about the service, since we ordered on doordash. i'll start with the good - the fresh fruit and pasta salad was quite nice, and fresh. the cookies are buttery and soft, and the sandwiches had good quality bread. however, we both ordered our sandwiches toasted, and received bread that was completely soft except for the edges. then we get to the chicken salad itself. i quite like their chicken salad (at other locations), however this time around it was 90% mayonnaise and 10% chicken. pretty unpleasant experience. i hope to try again someday, but as of right now it hasn't been the greatest. i'll stick to my texas locations for now read more

The service was friendly and the food was good. Can't ask for much more than that. Spoke with the owners for a few minutes & they seemed nice as well. I'm on a chicken salad kick after trying this place a few months ago. I love onions, so always get the Dixie Chick, and just get the large to go container. They load the bag with a ton of crackers, and I'm set for a few days, taking bites here and there. I did order the croissant sandwich the first time I visited, and wasn't super impressed with the freshness of the croissant, and so I just get the scoops ever since. That said, it's expensive! It's a decent distance away from me, so I usually get 2 large orders of just the chicken salad to go. I wish I could freeze it, but the mayo separates and gets a little watery. These 2 tubs come to around $40. Being someone who gets a little hyper fixated on certain foods, I will snack on this container over 3 meals or so, and for almost $20 for each container, it does seem expensive. But I buy it, because I absolutely love it. It's addicting. I can't even wait to get home to dive in. read more

As soon as I walked in I felt like I was back small town home, small booths, mix of table cloths, warm colors, inspirational messages, super hospitable franchise owners actually serving customers and Dwight Yokum playing guitars and Cadillacs over the sound system.. We came across this shop randomly and decided to try it. We had no idea it was a nationwide chain, but we can understand after our positive experience. Upon entering, the shop is very clean and organized. It is simply decorated and gives a comfortable sandwich shop feel. Luke was amazing! He welcomed us in, explained how the menu works, and engaged in friendly chatter as we determined our orders. We tried 4 different "flavors" of chicken salad. All were good, but my girlfriend especially loved the Lemon Basil. She ordered extra to take home. Next time, we will try some of the spicy options. Great experience all around. I wanted to check out this new place for lunch and the line was out the door! It moved surprisingly quickly. I ordered the Chick, which gave me a scoop of chicken salad plus a side, a pickle, and a cookie. I chose the classic Carol on a croissant with a side of broccoli salad. The chicken salad had quality ingredients but was kind of bland. I will choose a zestier option next time. I would have preferred a side of chips or fries to a salad, but soup and salads were the offered sides. The broccoli salad was ok. I will probably get soup or fruit next time. 10/19/24- I was super glad we decided to stop by this place for a snack. I love chicken salad and wanted to see how good a place could be that specialized in it. The one negative thing about this place was several of the staff seemed to be confused/put off by my mother and I wanting to split a meal. We weren't hungry, just snacky, and wanted to try their food. It was a little odd, but some places just don't like people sharing food. We did get our order and the size to cost ratio was good with good quality for the most part. Their basic chicken salad was a little bland, but fine after I added pepper to it. We decided last minute to get two large family meals for a family reunion. We expected to wait upwards of an hour based on experience from other catering. We had our food ready within 14 minutes of ordering during busy lunch hours. The staff did a fantastic job getting of getting our order ready as quickly as they did.
