A coworker got me a gift card, so naturally I had to stop by. I had no trouble making a next day appointment for myself and my mom. We both got pedicures and I also got a gel manicure. Tony and the other technician were kind and very patient with us. They tried to upsell us at various points (it's a business, I understand!) The atmosphere was very relaxed, there wasn't too much noise, technicians aren't overly talkative, and it's a nice ambience. Most of the workers (though not all) were wearing masks, but many of the clients were not. The salon was otherwise quite clean/polished! This pedicure was long overdue! I finally made it back to get my toesies done and I really wanted to treat myself! It's been a stressful, emotional week. So, I went with one of their fancier pedicures they have to offer, the Detox Pedicure "Grapefruit Power" (~$60). This pedicure includes the classic treatment in addition to callus remover & hot stone massage. I absolutely loved my pedicure! This time around, Michael was my tech. He was very kind, respectful, patient; he took his time, and was very thorough. I was so pleased, that I tipped him $20!!! Which means a whole lot, as I normally just tip $10. My feet and lower legs are so, so soft! I'm still rubbing them together lol I especially loved the mask he left on while he started working on my feet. I don't know exactly what he put on. But, it was a couple of different creams and oils, and they definitely did the trick! Not to mention it was super relaxing and it elevated my mood. After my pedicure, I decided to get my eyebrows waxed ($15) as well. Idk the technician's name, but she did an okay job. The eyebrows weren't even. One what thicker than the other. I don't believe in, "They're sisters, not twins." My stuff need to be twins over here! So, when I got home, I had to tweeze them a little. Sadly, no tip for her. I'm paying you for a service, so I don't have to do it myself. If I have to go home to touch it up myself, then why get the service done to begin with?! It seems like a waste. So, I most likely won't be getting my eyebrows waxed here again. Messing up eyebrows is a big deal!!! If you accidentally mess up your eyebrows, it messes with how your whole face looks! And, don't nobody wanna be filing in they eyebrows everyday because the tech messed up! So, that's a no for me. But, if I would've just gotten my pedicure done, this rating would be a 5/5 forsure! Side note: Black & Brown people. You may feel a little way while being here. I was the only black person in there, out of about 40 customers, and while walking to the chair, I got a few, "What are you doing here, you don't belong in here," looks from a few older white women. And the older white lady I sat next to, scuffed me and kept eye-siding me. Like, she seriously had a problem with me sitting next to her! Like I'm here for me, not you, get over yourself Karen! But, with that being said, the technicians have always made me feel welcomed and comfortable; they are always very inviting & kind. But, their customers not so much... But, just be prepared. I'm sure y'all already know though, cause we in Phoenix... Just sayin. To all of my black & brown people: YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL AND YOU DESERVE TO BE PAMPERED AND TO FEEL LUXURIOUS! This review is based solely on the customer service I experienced yesterday. I visited this establishment yesterday afternoon to get a fill. I wanted a white French tip and on the ring finger write "XO". I was told it can possibly be done for $95. I waited in the lobby for about 25mins. I showed the picture of design to the tech and hostess. When they were ready for me I asked for some water because it was a bit warm and they gave me room temperature water. However, my ultimate complaint is after my jewels were taken off and my gel was drilled off my original nails, the tech advises me they don't have the color I need. I chose a similar color and I was told they didn't have that color either. I was upset because why not say something before you take everything off my nails. The tech response was why not go to the salon you originally went for the color when she could've checked before drilling my nails. She laughed and began speaking in thier birth language. I'm so happy another customer was sitting next to me and witnessed everything. She even spoke up and said I can't believe she just did that to you. read more

The pedicure Tech was obviously having a bad day and was extremely angry and rude from the start; never been treated in this manner. I left with nail polish all over my cuticles because I was afraid to ask her to clean up them up. AND on top of it, she was watching TV on her phone with an ear bud in during my service! I have been a loyal customer for a long time and thought I had a good relationship with a particular nail technician. I always keep my appointments, I arrive on time, I am friendly, and I tip generously. This past week I made an appointment for a gel manicure and when I showed up on time for my appointment with the technician I always go to, the person at the check in desk acted confused. When I was kept waiting for a while, I asked how much longer it would be. I was then told that it was going to be a very long time. My regular nail technician who apparently had taken a walk-in (ignoring my scheduled appointment in the process) was nowhere near being finished with the walk-in. She then came out and told me she could not honor the appointment I had made with her. When I pressed them about why they were unable to honor my appointment, they simply told me they are busy this time of year and really, they should not even be taking appointments. Meanwhile, their book was full of appointments and they continued to answer the phone and take more appointments! I was very unfairly pushed aside and ignored. What is the point of making an appointment if they are not going to honor it? Beware if you have time constraints and are making an appointment in advance. 30 minutes later I was able to have my manicure with another technician. I am pretty sure I was pushed aside due to the fact that I was only having a gel manicure and no pedicure. My regular technician decided to take a walk-in that was having both. Completely unprofessional! While the other technician who did my manicure was friendly and good, I will think twice before returning to this salon. read more

The worst pedicure I've received. Took me back to a chair and got the water on, but didn't even put the jet in. So I sat there for twenty minutes in still water that went cold. Cut my nails down to the quick. So short that they hurt. Paraffin that wasn't warm. My pregnant swollen feet wanted to heat.. I called a head to see how long the wait time for a Pedicure would be, and they were able to see us as soon as we got there. I came in with my husband to get a Pedicure. It was his first time and he had an amazing experience. Holly blessed my husband's feet with her patience and attention to detail. She gave him a massage that relaxed even me as I sat next to my husband looking on. After she was done, his feet looked brand new. He couldn't believe how smooth his feet felt. I had the opportunity to have Cu do my Pedicure. I must note that I came in wearing a dress. Before he started, he gently placed a towel over my dress, which I appreciated. It's been months since my last Pedicure, so my feet were in dire need of one. By the time he was done, my feet were smooth and my legs were feeling wonderful. The service is well worth the price and then some, because everything that was done matched up to the price point. Nothing was rushed, but it also didn't take too long. Biltmore Nail Bar is definitely the place to come if you want to splurge and treat yourself to a high end experience at a moderate, but reasonable price. The place is beautiful. It's calming and relaxing. It has a waterfall that greets you as you come in. The atmosphere instantly relaxes you and you have the option of listening to the music as it plays softly around you or watching the television in front of you. Or both. I came in here with a friend to get a pedicure. I opted to get a regular pedicure with callus remover add-on. The girl put on the callus remover gel and rather than it sitting a little while to do it's thing like most places I've been do, she proceeded to go at my callus super hard with a metal grater. At one point it hurt so bad and I felt like she cut me on the back of my heel. I grimaced, told her it really hurt and tried to look at my heal as I was sure it was bleeding. It was throbbing so much like when you cut yourself. I couldn't see any cut or blood and she continued. But it kept hurting so bad I kept lifting my heal up out of the water to look at it. She seemed to think I was over-reacting and said, "see, nothing there" - and I didn't see anything. The massage she did was horrible too. She did the same stroke up and down my legs the ENTIRE time. It was not at all close to other pedicure massages I've had elsewhere. Fast forward to drying my toes while waiting for my friend to be done and sure enough there was a big gash out of the back of my heal. It must not have been visible because it was so wet when I was trying to see it. Upon mentioning my experience when paying, the lady said she could put a $10 credit for my next visit. Um, no thanks! I went to Hailey religiously at my previous place and honestly drove back there, even after moving, just for Hailey but unfortunately she was no longer there. I have been coming here for over 2 years and unfortunately will not be coming back. Less than 2 weeks ago I came in to get chrome on my nails. I to come a couple days after to get the completely redone because the chrome had started completely coming off. In place I got just a plain gel color, thinking it'd be better. No, the gel somehow kept cracking on every single nail and I had to come in 2 separate times to get nails fixed. Over it, got them completely taken off and never coming back because of the rude front desk lady who I tried to explain my issues to. I want to start with I enjoyed my experience getting the manicure and pedicure. My guy was very nice and it was enjoyable. What bothered me is that I got a regular pedicure with a paraffin wax and a dip manicure. The bill came out to be $100 without tip. I was shocked by the price - usually nails I've gotten done in the past are like $60. My pedicure was nothing crazy I didnt get any special treatment it was a basic pedicure. Overall I am fine paying that as long as it lasts but that was not the case. After one week my dip started lifting off my nails. I work in an office and haven't been in the gym in awhile unfortunately so I'm not doing anything crazy with my nails. Tonight (end of week 2) they all popped off. I didn't even have to use anything. They just fell right off. For $100 you'd think this manicure would last 3 weeks minimum. I can't believe 1 week in I couldn't even touch my hair without hair getting under my nails. I've gotten dip a lot in the past and have never had them come off this quickly. Really disappointed. Don't charge people so much if it's not going to last. read more

Writing this to save other ladies the trouble of coming here. Overpriced and underdelivered. I was there for 2 hours and left bleeding. I called ahead to see what their availability was. I was told to come in an hour, so I gave my name and arrived a few minutes before then. The receptionist said it would be another 20 min. After 40 more min of waiting in the lobby, I asked for an update- she said they are trying their best but can't say how much longer it will be. While waiting, I heard multiple women come in with the same complaint. Everyone was waiting significantly longer than what they were quoted and a few of them were upset. They don't turn anyone away- they tell everyone to come in even if they are completely booked, give short wait times so people stay and expect them to wait. I finally got called back. My nails themselves turned out ok, but not great. I asked for white sns with glitter hombre. They didnt look terrible, but it wasn't hombre- just kind of painted half my nail silver with no fade. She filed my skin with the dremel and I nearly jumped out of my chair in pain. Later, she filed the edge of my nail so hard it cut my cuticle and I was bleeding. There was dried sns under my nails when I got home. After all that, they told me it was $62. An SNS manicure is listed on their menu as $52. Very pricey compared to other similar salons with no perks, extra services not great quality. When I got to the register, they typed in $67. Mot sure if she was tipping herself or what, but I corrected her and she entered the correct amount. After tip, this was nearly a $70 manicure! There are 10 other salons within a mile, friends. I was originally not going to post a review but after finding an injury on my finger, it was just one too many things wrong with this visit Before I go on, for the most part my past 2 visits with Biltmore nail bars have been great. I loved the service and my manicurists were very kind. And I definitely loved how I was treated I went in yesterday wanting a pink ombré and I came out with unicorn style nails (which I was not told would cost an extra 15 dollars). I semi felt I wasn't listened to when it came to what I originally wanted. I also was not given the time to pick out the color of my toe nails and the manicurist ended up just picking a white color. I honestly just felt rushed and I was still trying to decide on my fingernail design. While he was taking off the SNS the buffer slipped and ended up cutting my finger (it did break skin and I ended up finding this after the fact). I also noticed while getting my nails done something else. Another girl was getting her nails done and there was an empty seat next to her. This gentleman (not related to her) came in and sat next to her and she clearly looked uncomfortable. The manicurist clearly did not care or even ask if it was ok for the gentleman to sit next to her customer. The gentleman was relatively aggressive in his language when speaking to the manicurist which I'm sure would not make anyone's visit better. I thought something should be said about this. As I was leaving. I was initially told that I had a 10 dollar discount which would have been great for the 114 dollar mani pedi. And then the receptionist told me it clearly was a mistake because they are the only business that uses 5 stars. I actually know that other businesses do use 5 star for rewards and those rewards do accumulate. I do think biltmore nail bar is overall a great business but I did want to at least raise some concerns that I at least saw this last visit. read more

I came in on 7/20 to make appointments for my wedding on 10/8. In order to book this they told me I needed to pay $100. I paid and went on my way. A month before I go in to confirm and they say they have lost my card... I waited there 20 minutes for them to find it and then they said I'm all good. It is stronger then the gel and thinner then the dip and looks amazing! But they have all the other nail options available as well.
