Great outside and inside decor, a good amount of parking, clean, great staffing. Visited on a Saturday morning and their was a wait, but to be expected at 10am on Saturday. The wait was only about 15 minutes. I would love to say that I was a fan of the food but it was too greasy and heavily salted. My kiddo did love her pancakes! I will not be visiting again, but with the business the best. I do want to point out the friendliness of the wait staff! Great job servers! read more

They told us a 35 minute wait, but it was really only about 15! We came smack dab in the middle of breakfast, so we expected a wait! The complimentary coffee while we waited was a nice way to warm up on this chilly fall morning! The grits were stellar, the bacon fried perfectly, the rye toast was so fluffy and fresh, the eggs were fried to perfection, and that pancake was big enough for all 4 of us to share! Everything was outstanding. Waitress was friendly and kind- even recommended some local shops to us for our girls trip! Great atmosphere and lovely environment! We WILL be back! read more

This place is busy!! We waited approximately 35 minutes Sunday afternoon. It was well worth the wait. They serve breakfast all day, the staff is friendly and efficient. The food was served hot and fresh! The pancakes are huge and delicious. I had the veggie omelet, very good, filled with vegetables. The hash browns were crispy. The portions are huge. My husband and I will be back! read more

The portions are BIG. The food is very tasty. The feel is very much like an old country store. The service was amazing. All the staff were helpful and friendly. The booths seemed small, our group of four with larger bodies all fit comfortably with room to spare. read more

How could you not love this place?! It is over the top in terms of portions - think 14-inch pancake with a to-go pizza box - and everything else is also over the top, but with the super nice servers and tables for large groups, couples or a solo diner, it's just the place for a perfect breakfast or lunch ... dinner too on certain nights. read more

Billy Gail's - Ozark - The pancake!!! Amazing vanilla taste. - American Near Me - Ozark, Missouri

Atmosphere was very comfortable and pleasant. Service was good and very friendly. Food was a mixed bag. I tried the catfish basket and thought the fish was great. Coleslaw and fries were good. Hush puppies were awful--they were very dry and almost tasteless. Husband tried the 3 Way Basket and it was not so great overall. The shrimp was good but the catfish was barely okay. The chicken was not cooked completely and the batter slid off the chicken. read more

This place is fabulous. The food was awesome and the service very friendly. It was the best meal we had in Branson.

Great down home comfort food. The catfish is really good and the pancake is fantastic! Highly recommended! read more

Friendly service, generous portions, delicious old-fashioned comfort food. The vibe is welcoming, the décor is fun, felt particularly comfortable there. I recommend upgrading to the 14-inch pancake and the fried bologna. read more

All I can say is "WOW!!" If you walk away hungry after eating here, you either have a bottomless pit instead of a stomach, or you have a tapeworm! The portions are not small! A one pound pork tenderloin sandwich, and 14 inch pancakes! The server was very friendly and helped us with selecting the food because we had never been there before. The prices are reasonable for what you get and the food quality is very good! read more

First impression was not great.. we arrived about 830 on a Thursday morning and stood there for what seemed like forever.. My sister finally went looking for someone to seat us. We were told the hostess was not in yet so they were not paying attention. Lol We finally got sat down and the hip hop music they were playing was so loud we literally could not hear each other talk. I looked around and the crowd was 95 percent 50 and older ( probably not the best music for that atmosphere and crowd ) I felt like i was at the club on Friday night. Lol. We asked the waitress to please turn the music, she was hesitant but finally honored our request after about 10 minutes. I about had a heart attack when I saw the prices but my brother assured me the portions were hefty and food was great.. he was not wrong I had the Monty crisco breakfast and it was delicious !! The hash browns were perfect. Our waitress was great and attentive. Moral of this story they probably need someone in charge paying attention from the time they open til they close that knows what they are doing. Blaring Hip hop music is appropriate for 20-30 year old employees working there but not for the 50-70 year old crowd that is paying their wages. Food GREAT! Customer service So-So. Atmosphere Sucks! read more

Love the new location! We were quoted a 15-20 minute wait for a party of three on a Saturday morning and it ended up being more like 5 minutes. There's plenty of parking and seating, and the furnishings are clean and new. We do miss the old eclectic mugs a bit. We ordered several items to share and everything was fresh, delicious, and bountiful. This is going to become a regular road trip stop for sure. read more

Great breakfast- huge pancakes and omelets. Very friendly staff- and lots to look at for decor. Priced very reasonably.

Homey country decor. Breakfast was typical--good! The sweet vanilla pancake, though? Remarkable!

Excellent burgers and pulled pork. Fun atmosphere. Good service. Clean. Friendly staff. read more

We ate at Billy Gails for the first time today and it was quite an experience. My hubby and I decided we'll eat light and hust share one meal. We were in for a surprise! Our food came in and WOWZA! They came in huge plates! Smelled good and was presented good. Usually in a restaturant like this that offers big portions, the food was just ok. But everything we ate was delicious! We were pleasantly surprised. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and made sure we had all we need while we were there. We took home leftovers probably still good for 2 people to consume. My only tip is, make sure you come early. This place is always packed with people. Needless to say, we will come back and even recommend this place to our families and friends. read more

Billy Gail's - Ozark - Country fried steak breakfast that my husband and I shared. No, we didnt finish it. - American Near Me - Ozark, Missouri

The portions are huge and the food is first rate...delicious. Bring an appetite or someone to share with. The service is top of the line. Before we could ask for refills they were at our table...our server Nikole rocked such a large group as ours. We truly enjoyed our experience. From ordering to table was 15 minutes tops. read more

This is a great restaurant to go out with a group. The food portions are huge. They have 14 inch pancakes. The camp breakfast is really great if you're a skillet fan. Good coffee too. Service is always good, sometimes they're very packed, but the servers always get to you. I like to take out of town guests and tell them to order a lot because the portions are kind of small. Very funny when they bring the jumbo in plates of food out read more

Visited for the first time today. We thought it was a little pricey until we received our food. The portions are huge so we had breakfast and dinner out of our purchase so the price is great actually. We could've split one breakfast entree and been full. Food is good. Environment is unique. We were happy with our visit. read more

Oh my Gosh. The best billionaires bacon I have ever had. And I love my bacon. try you'll love it

Wonderful and Heather was a great waitress!! Can't wait to come back!!! Loved the food and the staff. I had the grits with an egg and French Toast. Ok, I get French Toast lots of places. Their FT was actually toasted oall around and not only in some places. It was what I would call perfect French Toast. Ok, way too much about this. My wife had eggs, casserole and hash browns were huge. This was all gluten free and the waitress was exceptional, maybe Heather was her name... Anyhow, well done! read more

Great food. Big portions! Always consistent. Take out is the same as eating in the restaurant.

Great fried chicken! Good service. Right near our church. Right near the freeway too

The food is very good. But service is usually just okay. The decor is very busy, but gives you a lot to look at while you wait forever for your food. read more

BEST Reuben he's ever had! I had the Fried Chicken dinner which was also yummy. The best compliment was when my husband dug into his sandwich and didn't come up for air until it was half gone. Our waitress was phenomenal and anticipated our needs before we needed then. Such a wonderful atmosphere too. If you're in Ozark, skip the throwed rolls place and head here. You'll be glad you did! read more

Server was nice but they crammed 5 into a small booth and only one of us liked our food enough to go back and most down right hated the food. I will say the fried green tomatoes were good but onion rings were not done. Catfish is a really strange texture. I didn't realize this was the same company as Flat Creek or we would have skipped. Ate that down in Boliver and was pricey and terrible food there also. Sorry but maybe we should try just breakfast if we are ever stuck here again. Definitely didn't make up for our missed trip to Lamberts read more

Well, we use to be big Billy Gail's fans but after todays lunch I won't be back for awhile. The signature breakfast burrito was terrible, rubbery and they forgot the cheese. What's a burrito without cheese???? I've enjoyed this signature burrito at both locations in the past and loved it. Husband got the Billes Breakfast hash browns were gluey and his sausage burnt on the end looked like someone had taken a bit out of it. Service was poor, the place was empty and we had to wait to be seated , no one manning the front desk. Lots of employees walking around doing nothing and a manager who strutted around talking to staff about time off in-front of customers. So sad they got bigger and are slacking on the awesomeness that WAS! read more

Leaving 5 stars for this delicious food. They serve excellent over-portioned American country cuisine. If you're a prissy east coast city slicker, maybe you won't like this down home American masterpiece as much as the typical fly-over-state country kid, but being in that latter category, I must say I LOVE it! Granted, just like everywhere these days, they seemingly struggle to find good help. That is, in my numerous trips there with my family, service has been hit and miss. Not all of the servers were top notch, while some were. I won't the establishment them for that, though. Not their faults; try to find a single establishment with good help these days. I recently spent $300 on a date at an over-rated pretentious steak place and received the same quality of service, so I expect every restaurant is impacted by our crumbling society's phenomenon of the missing minimum wage worker. Thus, I'll not dock stars for that. I digress. The food has been dialed in and perfectly prepared, while ridiculously oversized, on each of my visits. It tastes amazing. I leave full. I bring leftovers. My dog is happy. If you're looking to stuff yourself silly on the most nostalgic American classics, eat here. read more

The service from the staff was really terrific. The food was oversized and more than anyone human being it eat. It was more entertaining than it was delicious. Fantastic pancakes! Free coffee while you wait for a table. Our server was great too. The rest of our breakfast was good as well.

My order came out wrong no biggie they took it and like 10 minutes later a new plate comes out and there's a hair in it. Stuff happens but when it's one thing after another it's just too much. My boyfriend's bacon was burned on his burger and the burger itself was also kinda burned and tasted horrible. We had high hopes being huge flat creek fans but we just won't be back too many things went wrong‍ another thing we had to wave down the server each time because there were no check ins I don't leave reviews but I didn't get to talk to the manager. read more

I thought it was just okay. The portion sizes are huge, so it is an economical way to feed your family, which is why I gave it 3 stars. My son liked his breakfast platter. I got the BBQ sandwich with salad and it wasn't good at all. The sauce was too sweet, the bread was soggy from the sauce, and the meat didn't have much flavor. The salad was very boring. My son's eggs were under seasoned. He said the ham was good. The service saved this trip - our waitress was great. read more

Arrived about 2:00, closing at 3:00. Party of 10 + 1 toddler and a baby. Told 45 mins, took 15. Off to a good start. Server very friendly and efficient. Going great. Food arrived timely for large group. All is well...until fried okra appetizer undercooked, two $21 burgers with no bacon as listed, no horseradish as listed for tri-tip sandwich (settled for bbq sauce), one signature 14" pancake so tough you couldn't cut it with a fork, a stale biscuit with the gravy and a forgotten side salad. Did I mention they were out of silverware when food was brought to table? I know it was just before closing, but overall NOT a great experience. Mostly kitchen's fault, not server's. read more
