Just don't buy any warranty or extended service from them. They will never refund when you want to cancel (even it's 100% legal)!

The team at Bill Jacobs Mini are outstanding. While the dealership is out of my way, it's worth the drive for the 5 Star Customer Service!

CarMax has great customer service--until you purchase the car. After that, getting help can feel…read morelike an entirely different experience. I purchased an extended warranty for $5,000+ based largely on the way the warranty was presented to me. I was told that if I had repairs done at CarMax, there would be a $0 deductible and a loaner vehicle. What I was not told is that the loaner is apparently only available after CarMax has had the vehicle for 24 hours and determines that the repair qualifies for a loaner. I also wasn't told that I would need to drop the vehicle off the night before. That creates a major problem for customers. You have to find a way to get your car to CarMax the night before, find a ride home, arrange transportation for potentially an unknown amount of time, and then simply wait to find out whether CarMax will provide a loaner. I have been trying to get this warranty situation resolved for months, and it has been extremely frustrating. At this point, I'm being told that taking the vehicle to a dealer may be the only practical way to get it repaired. But doing so means a $50 deductible plus $55 per day for a loaner. So my question is: Will CarMax reimburse me for those costs when the warranty was sold to me under the impression that repairs at CarMax would involve a $0 deductible and a loaner? I understand that warranties have terms and conditions, but there is a big difference between having terms and selling a warranty based on benefits that are extremely difficult to actually use. Customers should be given the full picture before spending $5,000+ on an extended warranty. Unfortunately, this experience has completely changed my opinion of CarMax. I will never buy another vehicle from CarMax, and I'll be going back to traditional dealerships in the future. My advice to anyone considering CarMax: Know exactly how the warranty works before you buy it. Don't rely solely on the selling points you're given at the time of purchase. Ask what happens when you actually need a repair, how long your vehicle has to be at CarMax, when a loaner becomes available, and what your options are if you need to use a dealership instead. I now feel like I'm stuck making payments on a vehicle that I can't drive while fighting to use a warranty that cost me thousands of dollars. A huge waste of time, money, and frustration. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Bought a 2024 Audi A5 in June, 2026: Here's my experience:…read more POSITIVE Saw the car I wanted on their site and because the make, model and color would be snapped up ASAP, they grabbed it right away and it was transferred from another city/state within a week later. At my request, they held it for me for 5 days until I could get there from my home 90 miles away. The salesman was nice, personable, accommodating and answered all my questions. He should get a better job elsewhere. The car was in pristine condition - inside and out. They attached one license plate for me and gassed the car before I drove it off the lot. As I'd been renting a car from Enterprise, I was able to drop it off there (different location from the rental origin) without an extra charge. NEGATIVE They will push the warranty, even if it includes flirting shamelessly! It could be that I was in a hurry, but they should have attached the second plate. Now I've gotta pay someone to do it - I'm not handy. I was paying cash for the car which at first, I going to do via wire transfer. However, telling me it would take a day for their "corporate office to receive the wire transfer", they wanted me to do the wire the day BEFORE I was scheduled to pick it up. While I was 95% sure I wanted the car, I'd only seen it online and I wasn't about to pay for it until I'd seen it in person and test drove it! It's 2026, folks and wire transfers are immediate! Don't test our BS meter. I paid by cashiers' check instead. Also, because I wanted to get miles on my credit card, I asked to put $10k of the $34k+ cost on it, but $5k is the most they'll let you put on a card (obviously, they want every opportunity to finance the cars they sell. One day soon, someone's going to challenge this in court and win). They wouldn't even let me put the warranty (which is a separate purchase) on my card. (the two points above are likely not under the salesman's control) Finally, and the most disappointing part of the experience: Once I bought the car, I immediately drove it to a mechanic I'd made an appointment with to have it checked out. They spent several hours inspecting it and told me that Internally, it was all good. BUT, while it was up on the lift, they saw it had been in an accident: the passenger door on the driver's side had been replaced and cheaply done with 'Bondo'. Sure enough, the paint doesn't exactly match. No accident was reported on the Carfax report. I called Enterprise Car Sales to discuss this with them and the dealership manager said: If it's not on the Carfax report, we don't have to tell you about it and we're not responsible for it. FYI: Don't trust a Carfax report.

These people are full of shit. They lied over the phone, just to hit my credit and ask for $5,000…read more They talk shit about other car dealerships, but they're doing the exact same thing... Pathetic experience. Very undeserving. Negative five stars.
