BG Motor Cars - joke chat

BG Motor Cars

After lousy customer service from another non-brand name dealership, BG Motors was a breath of…read morefresh air! I was looking for a Honda CR-V at the worst season---inflation, supply and demand chains at a bust, very low inventory, seller's market, etc. I could buy old with a lot of miles for cheap or newer with about 100,000 miles or less for "out of my budget" range. BG Motors had one, a CR-V, smack dab in the middle. The only problem, BG Motors is about 40 minutes away and they didn't have the Carfax on their website...did I really want to spend gas (highest gas prices in my lifetime!) to drive there only to find it had been in accident or two?? A text to BG motors and 10 minutes later, I had the Carfax. Texted with Zahaib to confirm the car was still available and that he would stay opened until we arrived to check it out. Literally with 10 minutes to closing, Zaheib gave us the keys and let us test drive it. Absolutely NO pressure! Zaheib is a genuine, young man who trusted us to drive the car unassisted and stayed opened a little after hours for us. Concerned with a noise, we opted to wait to have a mechanic friend check it out. Logistics prevented me from getting mechanic to BG motors in the next couple of days. When I inquired about allowing me to drive the car to my mechanic 40 minutes away, BG Motors was willing! Now that's great customer service! A few days later, I was able to have the mechanic with me to drive the CR-V. The Mechanic explained the noises and how much it would cost to repair, but ultimately gave a thumbs up. Mechanically, other than the two easy to fix items, it was a solid car within my budget. Cosmetically, it was in good shape --except for the duct taped arm rest and three of the four indoor lights inoperable. We mentioned the indoor lights to Zaheib before we headed back towards home. The next day, with a pre approved loan from my bank, I spoke via phone with Noman, the owner, with our offer. He balked, but when I explained what repairs it was going to need, he agreed to a price lower than asking price. The best thing??? Doing the paperwork from the comforts of my home rather than sitting in the dealership waiting for the financials!! It took longer to drive to pick up the car than it did to sign the paperwork! It was all ready for signatures by the time we arrived. Twenty minutes later, I was driving home with my Honda CR-V. It was a pleasure to work with Zaheib face to face and Noman via screen! Next time I'm in need of a used car, I will definitely check out the cars on BG Motors lot. Afterthought: The lights still didn't work, the rear view mirror fell off when I was trying to adjust it for my short stature, and I decided I really didn't like the duct tape arm attire. With a lot of elbow grease, YouTube videos, and $6, I replaced the lightbulbs, figured out how to slide the mirror back on its plate correctly, and have patched up the missing vinyl/leather on the armrest (sadly, with the wrong shade of grey, but it looks sooo much better than the duct tape!) I bought the car with these problems, well, not the rear view mirror, that was a surprise, and I still give BG Motors 5 . I give myself a pat on the back for my labors!!!!

No integrity, beyond dishonest at all. Like what Devon reviewed, they are the average worst dealers…read moreyou used to see 0 stars. Last second they confirmed that you are the first one who has priority to make a decision, a second later they told you a deal is done, money is coming from someone else. Was that the God who told someone your bank account to wire the money? What a joke.

Bought a 2024 Audi A5 in June, 2026: Here's my experience:…read more POSITIVE Saw the car I wanted on their site and because the make, model and color would be snapped up ASAP, they grabbed it right away and it was transferred from another city/state within a week later. At my request, they held it for me for 5 days until I could get there from my home 90 miles away. The salesman was nice, personable, accommodating and answered all my questions. He should get a better job elsewhere. The car was in pristine condition - inside and out. They attached one license plate for me and gassed the car before I drove it off the lot. As I'd been renting a car from Enterprise, I was able to drop it off there (different location from the rental origin) without an extra charge. NEGATIVE They will push the warranty, even if it includes flirting shamelessly! It could be that I was in a hurry, but they should have attached the second plate. Now I've gotta pay someone to do it - I'm not handy. I was paying cash for the car which at first, I going to do via wire transfer. However, telling me it would take a day for their "corporate office to receive the wire transfer", they wanted me to do the wire the day BEFORE I was scheduled to pick it up. While I was 95% sure I wanted the car, I'd only seen it online and I wasn't about to pay for it until I'd seen it in person and test drove it! It's 2026, folks and wire transfers are immediate! Don't test our BS meter. I paid by cashiers' check instead. Also, because I wanted to get miles on my credit card, I asked to put $10k of the $34k+ cost on it, but $5k is the most they'll let you put on a card (obviously, they want every opportunity to finance the cars they sell. One day soon, someone's going to challenge this in court and win). They wouldn't even let me put the warranty (which is a separate purchase) on my card. (the two points above are likely not under the salesman's control) Finally, and the most disappointing part of the experience: Once I bought the car, I immediately drove it to a mechanic I'd made an appointment with to have it checked out. They spent several hours inspecting it and told me that Internally, it was all good. BUT, while it was up on the lift, they saw it had been in an accident: the passenger door on the driver's side had been replaced and cheaply done with 'Bondo'. Sure enough, the paint doesn't exactly match. No accident was reported on the Carfax report. I called Enterprise Car Sales to discuss this with them and the dealership manager said: If it's not on the Carfax report, we don't have to tell you about it and we're not responsible for it. FYI: Don't trust a Carfax report.

My family and I have been taking our vehicles to DJ's for more than 25 years, and I can't say enough about the people there. They're honest, knowledgeable, and treat their customers the right way. Over the years, I've referred countless friends, family members, and business associates because I know they'll be taken care of. A perfect example happened years ago during one of my first encounters with DJ's. My son's car died and wouldn't start. I thought it had run out of gas, so I added about a gallon before having it towed to DJ's. About 30 minutes later, they called and said the car was ready. When I asked what the problem was, they told me it had simply run completely out of gas. Because the tank was bone dry, one gallon wasn't enough to get it running again. Naturally, I asked what I owed them. Their answer? "The cost of a gallon of gas." That was it. They could have easily charged me for diagnostics, labor, or any number of things, but that's just not how they do business. They did the right thing because it's who they are. In a world where it's becoming harder to find businesses you can truly trust, DJ's Truck & Auto continues to set the standard. Their honesty, integrity, and customer service are second to none. If you're looking for a mechanic who will treat you fairly and stand behind their work, I couldn't recommend them more highly. David G
