Big Horn was great. They whooped their comp as far as pricing and Ms. Joanne was golden. It took a little bit to have the door built but the only reason I held off giving them 5 is because there was some confusion and i had to call and check to see if the door was ready. Which it was. We purchased doors for house, when they finally arrived, the doors were missing the screens. We were told they would send us the screens ASAP. Several months later the screens arrived and they were the wrong size. Now, over a year later - Big Iron doors is telling us that they can not send us the correct screens and to look elsewhere to have screens made to fit our doors. This is after they charged us $300 for the screens that did not fit. After paying almost 5,000 dollars in total you would think the customer service would me much better. This company deserves less than a star. Avoid them at all costs. Their salesperson likes to talk over you and treat valid grievances like a court case where I the consumer am on trial. I am rapidly approaching a year since my original order. It took 6 months ir more to get the doors. I have been waiting 90 days for a order for incorrect knobs and parts that don't work with the awkwardly sized Chinese made door. I phoned the manager today to find out they were never ordered. I have called multiple times on the issue. Lots of lip service and no results. How can they have so many stars on their company website. Impossible. Do not trust that !!!! Its just beyond anything I have ever encountered. 5 k plus a grand for delivery would have been best spent elsewhere. read more

Bryan drove in the storm in early February that Monday evening to measure my space. He then helped me find Thomas a superbly talented door installer, and made my dream come true! Ordered door check paid deposit check..Big horn said they would come double check measurements bc we have an old house No one shows at appointed time (I called and texted and emailed) Profuse apology to reschedule and again no call or follow up. I was quoted 10-12 weeks for arrival, it took 16 weeks. I ordered a custom size, it came two inches smaller than I ordered therefore, it cost me $1600 extra dollars to have it installed because the door frame had to be adjusted and the trim had to be re-done. The deadbolt and the hole were not aligned. The worst part was one of the hinges was soldered on crooked and my installer had to pound it out to make it straight in order to hang the door. The pounding of the hinge caused scratches on it. No touch up paint included. The door itself is well built, sturdy and beautiful. read more
