Let me start out by saying, full disclosure, I've known Dan pretty much my whole life. We lost contact over the years but when I started looking at having my windows replaced he was the guy I was gonna call to start with. I got in contact with him and arranged for him to come do his thing and get me a quote, he did and it was super fast. Well things happened and I wasn't able to get it done. A year or so past and I reached back out to Dan to ask if he still had my quote and see if he could requote it for todays prices. He did and it hadn't went up as much as I was expecting, which was nice. We ordered them and Dan got them sent to production. Well, we wanted to make a color change and Dan made that happen too. Once the windows were made and they got here to install them the crew was super efficient and professional. They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. I asked Dan if they could replace my window seals too and he told me to get the material and ask his lead guy Keaton if he would install them. I did just that and he did a bang up job on that too and didn't cut into their timeline either. I had a couple of other quotes for windows and none of the others came even close to Pro 1. I would recommend them to anyone looking for windows and have actually. All of my neighbors have asked about my windows and I always tell'em "I got a guy"! If you are in the market for new windows you should do yourself a favor and contact Rhonda at Pro 1 Windows and Doors. Recently, I decided I needed to replace the 9 original windows in my condo which was built in 1982. I contacted two different window companies based upon their positive Yelp reviews. The first to call back was Rhonda with Pro 1.Rhonda and I scheduled a walkthrough for 2 days later. Rhonda is extremely knowledgable about both the energy efficient window offerings available today and what would be required by the Condo HOA for the work to be performed. Rhonda promptly provided me a quote and estimated the time from down payment-to-installation would be around 3-4 weeks. I let her know I was getting a second bid and she said that was a good idea. I set up a walkthrough with the 2nd contractor and was equaly impressed with their lead person who bid the exact same windows as Rhonda from the same manufacturer, however, their quote was 20% more than Pro 1's. After calling Rhonda back and setting things in motion, true to her word, the windows were ready to be installed in 3 weeks. Rhonda and her installation team showed up ready to go to work at the agred upon time and they moved furntiure, covered everything in dropcloths and went to work. Four hours later I had the best looking new windows I could have ever asked for. All-in-all this was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a contractor. Rhonda and her crew helped us replace 20+ windows at our house. The winter hasn't been really rough and I can't comment on the quality of the windows yet, which I will follow up probably after this summer. But the whole estimation, getting quote, and installation went smoothly. I can't talk about the installation itself since I had little idea, but some details let me believe it should be very good. First of all, the installation was planned for two days. It turned out that two days were not enough. Instead of rushing it through, the crew came back for the third day to finish the job. Secondly, the clean up was impressive. I came home and the only difference I noticed was that the new windows were installed. Last but not the least, they addressed my layman concerns with patience. Another important factor I look at is after installation service. One of the screen window had some minor issue, and we called Rhonda. Her crew showed up and took care of it. Can't say enough good things about Pro1 Windows & Doors! The process was excellent from start to finish. Dan came out to provide an estimate, was straight forward (not too sales-y) and confident in his product. They were very competitively priced and after doing some research on their window product and comparing Pro1 against other quotes I received (4 total), it was a no-brainer. They under promised and over delivered in every way. I was told it would take 4-6 weeks to get the windows, they were here in 2.5. Pro 1 was an awesome experience all around! We had 12 windows replaced in our 1920's Tudor, and start to finish nothing but excellent service. Talked to 2 other companies who had pricing worksheets where they start with a high number and then work it down to make you think you are getting more value. One started with a ridiculous price of $96K for 27 windows....yes $96,000. Felt like I was buying windows at the state fair (sorry if state fair purchases work for you :)).
