My wife paid $200 to have my bedroom window glass replaced. She went through this company because…read morethey are near our home. They were able to come out within the next following days after she called and replaced the single pan storm glass. Fast forward to this past weekend when I opened the window for the first time excluding the time when they demonstrated the operation of the window for my wife on the day of install. The window framing holding the glass came off while sliding the open to reveal that my window had been repaired using cardboard as the only thing the hold the frame onto the glass. Not cool for $200. So my wife calls them back to repair their work and they once again come out to my house while im at work. This time they refuse to do as much as even put to frame piece back on correctly and also claimed that the cardboard was not put in there by them. He claimed to have impeccable work but the caulking dripping down my other glass says otherwise. All i asked is that my window be returned to the same condition operating condition or hopefully better than when they arrived. I wasted alot of time dealing with these guys and they wasted alot of their own time by leaving a job with a unsatisfied customer. A quick and easy fix off the back of his truck would have fixed it. Hell just caulk it back on with more of the shotty work you used before! I dont care i would just like to have a window that operates... Like before. Bill Butcher (the technician and hopefully not the owner) showed up and refused to back his work on my window.

Stay clear. Its a scam. Should have went with my gut. He never returned. Go elsewhere for your…read moreglass needs.

I had a crack in one of my windows from a hail stone and finally decided to get it replaced. Steve…read morefrom DFW Window Specialists replied so fast to my request for information AND he was able to replace just the glass at the top of my window instead of making me buy and replace the entire window. So not only did he save me a bunch of money but he also got me on the schedule fast! The team that came out to replace it arrived early to measure the pane of glass and came back later the same day to replace it. The glass looks beautiful and fits perfectly. The seal around the glass is guaranteed for 10 years, which is comforting. Honestly, the only reason I couldn't give 5 stars is the window repair guys left some broken glass pieces behind on the interior and exterior of the repaired window which had me concerned for my daughter and my dogs. However, when I told Steve about this he was extremely apologetic and said that never should have happened and he would speak to his team. I appreciated his quick response and taking ownership of the issue, and would absolutely recommend him!

We went with the 80 % tinted screen and immediately noticed a difference in the temperature of the house and our lower electric bills. But here is the impressive part after 25 years I decided to remove all the screens clean and wash them and the windows. The white metal frames of the screens were still in great shape (better than the metal on the windows) and cleaned up well and the screen material is still very pliable. Another plus is while my neighbors have had to replace their windows due to the seals breaking down from the heat we have had very little issues with our window glass.

They did a better job than my original builder! They were the ONLY team to replace the frame, and REPAIR the door - allowing me to salvage the door itself - saving me a bundle ($$$)! All others I reached out to for quotes insisted the entire frame & door both needed replacement. Price was completely reasonable. The quality of work was top-notch. They removed the woodwork cleanly and re-installed professionally! New door knob & dead-bolt installed as well. They also insulated the frame and below kick-plate, before closing up the woodwork around the frame. They also re-aligned a storm door for me at the patio. That door now seals cleanly all-around (no light or air leaks). Their installers/technicians were thoroughly professional - I could see that they made sure the final product was to their high-level of quality and my satisfaction! All work areas were cleaned thoroughly before they left. THANK YOU for a job well-done! Will definitely keep your number handy for any future work needs as well as recommend you, quite highly to others.

I have been trying for weeks to get assistance from Your New Door regarding a warranty issue with…read morean Emtek door handle originally purchased and installed through Dallas Door Designs. I contacted Emtek directly and was given a case number. Emtek specifically advised me that the warranty request must be handled through the original dealer. I then submitted the requested warranty/work-order information through Your New Door's website. After receiving no response, I reached out publicly on Instagram. Your New Door asked me to send my name, phone number and email via DM, which I did. Unfortunately, no one ever followed up. I understand that warranty issues can take time to resolve, but the complete lack of communication after multiple attempts is extremely frustrating. At this point, I would simply like someone from the company to respond and help me determine how this Emtek warranty issue can be resolved.
