We had WRS replace our muntin bar windows with double insulated LOW-E 366 clear glass and several large leaded glass windows with double insulated LOW-E 366 tempered glass. Steve…read morefrom DFW Window Specialists replied so fast to my request for information AND he was able to replace just the glass at the top of my window instead of making me buy and replace the entire window. So not only did he save me a bunch of money but he also got me on the schedule fast! The team that came out to replace it arrived early to measure the pane of glass and came back later the same day to replace it. The glass looks beautiful and fits perfectly. The seal around the glass is guaranteed for 10 years, which is comforting. Honestly, the only reason I couldn't give 5 stars is the window repair guys left some broken glass pieces behind on the interior and exterior of the repaired window which had me concerned for my daughter and my dogs. However, when I told Steve about this he was extremely apologetic and said that never should have happened and he would speak to his team. I appreciated his quick response and taking ownership of the issue, and would absolutely recommend him!

Adan has been doing our installations and is always so pleasant and easy to deal with. Recently, we had a last-minute panic with our backdoor glass shattering completely. I called around to multiple places. Gatsby came in the cheapest, was always mindful of costs, and presented multiple options. I really hate giving bad reviews. I've thought long and hard about what to say about this, but I…read morefeel like I need to warn people about this company. Two years ago, we had Blackland Glass replace every window in our home, and they sold these windows to us by stating they were "the best, top-of-the-line windows you can buy. . .fully warrantied against everything, including pebbles, rocks during mowing, etc. Lifetime warranty. We will repair or replace them no matter what." We paid over $18,000 for these windows. They installed the windows, and they did a very poor job of it. At one point, they installed a solid pane window in a bedroom and had to take it out and move it where it was supposed to go. They broke bricks around a couple of my windows, did an absolutely abhorrent job on the caulking. There are awful bumps in the caulking, dents in the lift handle in the bottom of one of the windows. Still, what was done was done, and I tried to take a deep breath and move on. Fast forward to last summer when we got a crack and a hole in one of the windows, so I thought, "Great. At least they're warrantied." I called the company, left a message. No answer. I called again. No response. I called a third time, and I left a rather firm message for someone to call me back. They did call me back, and the person there told me that they no longer deal with the company that made our windows due to quality issues. Needless to say, I still have a hole in my window, still have broken bricks and bad caulking, and they refuse to honor the warranty and repair the window. I finally decided to write a review today because someone told me that I'm not doing anyone any favors by remaining silent, that there are people out there that will trust Blackland Glass and invest a lot of money in false promises. I still have a b roken window because we live out in the country, and trying to find someone to come out here and do a repair is very difficult. Still looking for someone to repair it. If you do decide to use them, I hope you have a far better experience than we have.
