The food was extremely good, we went for lunch and my kids didn't have much but me and my husband both had burgers, and they were some of the best burgers we have ever had. Mine had fried green tomatoes and so much cheese it was spilling out of my burger, my husband had a special that he loved. Next time I go I want to go later because the drink menu looked good. Overall very comfortable, laid back vibe. Will definitely return

Lock 34 was the choice for this week's family lunch on our way home from our adventures…read more We arrived and walking through the expansive patio/bar area I was thinking that this place is going to be something good. Within moments of walking in to the big dining area which gave off a high end feel the hostess had us seated and the waitress had the drinks coming in record time. By the time she came back we were ready to order. We asked for the kids finger meal, Well our waitress Maggie clearly knew what it's like to dine with kids, our little helpers food came first and in record time. Super crispy chicken and fries which were reviewed as "super awesome ". I got a cup of French onion soup, it had a good layer of cheese and was full of onions, even on a 80 degree day that soup satisfied. The misses got the chicken bacon ranch pizza, which came out with a seriously generous covering of chicken and bacon and a nice perfectly cooked cheese/dough. Fantastic flavor and very well made. The garlic parm wings were great, came out extra crispy and saucy....this was definitely a house made sauce, it was well made and worthy of a French fry sopping. I was pleasantly surprised they were also quite meaty. I'm also a bleu cheese fan, theirs was chunky and had a familiar tang to it. I'm a huge fan of great service and good food. Lock 34 delivered on both. Even though it's out of the way of our normal area we eagerly are looking forward to a return visit.

Fifty years ago, I sat in this very restaurant with my father…read more Back then, there was a military recruiting station right next door. Whenever I visited him in Lockport, this was one of the places we'd come for breakfast. Walking back through the door all these years later felt like stepping into a time machine. The best part? It still feels like a real diner. Counter seating. The sounds of breakfast being cooked. Regulars coming and going. Friendly conversation. No gimmicks. No trendy menu items. Just good food and genuine hospitality. I ordered the Breakfast Special: two eggs over easy, crispy home fries, sausage links, toast, and coffee. It was exactly what I hoped it would be. Simple, hot, and satisfying. The service was outstanding. Lynda took great care of me and made me feel welcome from the moment I sat down. As I sat there by myself, I found myself reflecting on family, memories, and the passage of time. Sometimes a restaurant becomes more than a place to eat. Sometimes it becomes part of your story. LaPort's Pine Restaurant is one of those places. The breakfast was excellent, but the memories were even better. If you're looking for a true hometown diner experience, this place is a treasure. -- Terry | @cheft_2469 (Instagram)

The staff are friendly and attentive and authentically want you to be satisfied. This is a clean, no frills, unpretentious diner that is not trying to be anything other than exactly that. People come in jeans and T-shirts, Buffalo Bills attire, suits and ties if they happen to be going to the nearby courthouse, factory garb, etc. Come as you are, fancy, ragged, the same satisfying food will be served to you, regardless of your appearance or stature. The coffee cups are refilled regularly. My favorite breakfast is the LaPorts scramble. My wife loves the squash or sweet potato purée as a side. Their garlic toast is my choice instead of the roll. I have only good things to say about this place, which is why we keep coming back.
