A wonderful side of the building sandwich grill and deli. Treated like you've been there a million times on your first time. Grab a menu and sit down cause you're going to want to read the great combinations of sandwiches. I'm biased. It's only my opinion, but I believe the Panini sandwich is the pinnacle of sandwiches. Two layers of crunch with high-quality ingredients in between. Bread was fresh. even though I was very full after my sandwich and onion rings, I made room for a super decadent peanut butter soft cookie. I'm going to make this one of my regular places. There's plenty of parking and the dining room would make Mom smile with how clean it is. The dining room had plenty of seating also.

Very casual place established in 2019 but has a feel of being there forever. Counter ordering, some simple seating, and Italian mafia inspiration. We arrived at 6:40 pm and ordered The Hideout Eggplant panini, The Godfather prime rib sangwich, the Underboss chicken BLT, and an antipasto. The owner was concerned our order would take over an hour to make. Sandwiches take a half hour to cook and he can only cook one at a time. So don't come here in a rush, unless you pre-order. At first, I felt the owner wasn't very hospitable...but after our order was submitted, he was chatty with us. I think his charm includes the disgruntled, but friendly vibe. Despite us sitting at a table, he delivered our food to go. Since he closes at 7:30, I think he may have been eager to close. We took advantage of the nice weather and found a picnic table to enjoy the food. The biggest hits were the Underboss and the antipasto. None of the kids liked the eggplant (but that was my favorite). The prime rib had mushrooms and spicy peppers. Kids also enjoyed the glass bottle soda options and all went with a root beer.

Best stuffed banana pepper soup only on Thursdays. Adult grilled cheese - nobody else makes it like Joe. Chipotle Mayo is the perfect touch.

One of my fav sandwiches in the Buffalo area. Seeded roll comes out on point, thin and crispy. The deli meat is Boars head, the key to a delicious sub. Owner is very nice and will give you recommendations. Just order the fugetabout it and thank me later. Turkey, cheese, roasted red pepper and chili mayo. Even if you don't like mayo you'll want to eat this, amazing. I can eat more then a full sub so if you were thinking of getting a half, get the whole. Fries come out crispy, but a little dry. Still worthy of a purchase though. There are soups of the day, haven't had then in a while but I remember the stuffed banana pepp being very tasty.

Absolutely delicious!! We love an old school Italian sandwich shop and the quality of this one is really above and beyond; they use boar's head meats (the best), fresh cheeses, scratch made soups and mayos, and gave fresh bread delivered daily. Everything is great here but last time I had the forgedaboutit turkey sandwich and it was so delicious Ill probably keep getting that. Talked to the owner last time and he is such a nice guy who really cares about quality. He told us we gotta come back Thursday and Friday for the homemade banana pepper soup and chicken wing soup. The best part is prices are reasonable, subs are starting to become a racket a lot of places but here it's definitely a good value.

Hey! When you want a sandwich what are you looking for? Certainly not starched table cloths with fine silvery utensils decorating your table front! I want a sandwich put me in a hangout where the board teases and entices with options like 'Joe Balls,' 'Franky Fingers,' 'Goomba,' the 'Big Johnson,' 'Vinnie Barbarino,' and 'Stugots.' Alright so you sort of are looking for THE GF but sandwiches my friends ain't supposed to be dainty corners of bread served with a China cup where you have to curl your pinky finger. You want a guy named Joe with half pencil in hand at the counter ... and the dining area says EAT no tippy toeing needed!! So I stepped and asked Joe what's the best? He glances up over his shoulder ... "start with the first on the board." Seriously? "It's the best" and so I ordered up a "FUGETABOUTIT" with its deli turkey, provolone, red peppers and chili mayo! Arriving after the crowd ... I found a spot amidst walks adorned with Pacino, DeNiro, and the Rat Pack. Now Joe is a talkative shop owner so I get some history ... but out he comes with a smile! "You're gonna luv this and it will clear your sinuses!" Means something when a man takes pride in his work! So badda bing badda bang I see this awesome sandwich and my nose picks up the scent of the chili mayo all sitting on a perfectly toasted roll! OPEN WIDE and YES, oh YES this is some good sandwich!!! Asked Joe about the deli meat ... its trucked in from THE BIG CITY (NYC); Boars Head. I detect renewed energy in Joe's voice "Gotta have the best! Their turkey no one can beat and their roast beef is OUTSTANDING!" Some more chatter with Joe as I allow this special sandwich to take over my taste buds! Joe has to get into the kitchen so I am watching the front door ... don't see no one with violin cases out on THE DELAWARE (The street not Joe's sandwich.). So why did I put the hit on one star of this classy sandwich joint? The WATER ... I don't want to pay for no stinkin bottled water ... open up the tap Joe. Unless .... maybe Joe knows someone is lying with the fishes and this costly bottle from Poland's Springs (What, no Venetia waters?) might have been for my health. Walkin' out checking my back to decide on my next sandwich from Joe's ... local ... deli meat from THE BIG APPLE and the type of place you eat in at with your fingers wrapped around a sandwich whose creator takes pride in his creation!!

Cute little place in Kenmore. Felt bad we got there about 20 mins to close but Joe was nice enough to make a couple Panini's we brought home. I ordered The Sicilian Panini that came with flat Italian sausages, mozzarella, tomatos and topped with garlic oil along with marinara sauce to dip in, it was really good! My girlfriend ordered the Its A Bella Vegalini that had quite a bit of various vegies in it such as onions, peppers, marinated eggplant, and lettuce along with provolone. She enjoyed it! Good work Joe!

Great food and great prices for smaller, hidden gem on Delaware. It is about as personal and casual an eatery you will find.

Massive menu of burgers, spanning a range of style from thick to smash, flames to griddle, and even typed of meat or non-meat. Quite frankly, if you can't find a burger that calls to you here, you must be very difficult to please. It was a Sunday, and the general area was thumping, this place was about half full and the vibe was relaxed. They're not on the absolutely main drag of Clifton Hill, and honestly, I would hope that benefits them both in price of rent and who might find it easy to wander in. There is paid parking nearby, cheaper than most because to get down to the falls is a bit of a hike. The hike back will be pretty far uphill, but we made it no problem. I love that the sodas come in a giant measuring cup, not much need for a refill, but they do give them complimentary if you ask for one. We started with standard poutine as an appetizer, it was really tasty. Nice flavor on the gravy, and a large amount of cheese curds. Instead of getting more fries as a side, went for a caesar salad. Was surprised to see bacon on it, but I definitely didn't hate that. It was quite good. I got a double smash burger with a nice thick onion ring on it and their version of burger sauce, as well as a spice relish to kick things up a notch. First thing, my patties were smashed very nicely, and there was a clear crispy crust on them. Bravo, I was pretty impressed, and the flavor was robust. I loved the spicy relish, and the bun also complemented the meat well. It was a big burger, and I was thoroughly satisfied. The service, maybe could have been slightly more attentive, but really just took awhile to take our order. Once it was taken, we had no complaints. Very friendly, everything was accurate, and like I said... big drink cups means not a ton of need for refills. I would come back here again on a future visit to the falls.

This is a busy spot for classic American favorites: burgers, sandwiches and wings. From my previous experience, I knew it's worth checking the menu beforehand. For someone who is trying to make healthier choices, but not salad, this might be a good idea. I remember the last time I had the Classic Grilled Cheese Melt. This time, to avoid beef, bacon, or fried chicken, I decided to substitute a burger with grilled chicken breast for an additional $1. The Frenchie was my choice. I asked for the included Bison dip on the side and added Grilled Cremini Mushrooms for another $1. I simply couldn't find any ready-made combinations that suited my taste. All the burgers, melts and sandwiches come with your choice of fries or tater tots. We waited longer than expected for our food. The restaurant started filling up after we arrived. There were a lot of takeout orders while the dinner rush was starting. They should have a parallel system in the kitchen to keep the dining room moving at its own pace. Anyway, my sandwich was good. The chicken was perfectly grilled. The mushrooms and onions were flavorful, and the provolone cheese was melted and delicious. It's good that I asked to have the Bison dip on the side. We enjoyed the mountain of fries and onion rings (we really liked the breading on the onion rings). The Mac and Cheese was basic, but classic and very tasty. Unfortunately, our feedback on the Steak Hoagie was not so good. It wasn't as expected - a juicy, Buffalo-style, meat and cheese sub. My partner said that too much spice rub made the sandwich salty and dry. It wasn't the experience of dripping, shaved steak covered with lots of melted cheese, grilled peppers and onions. There was none of it. It was dry, smallish and disappointing. Our server Kimora took good care of us. She was smiling, and made our stay very pleasant.
