Ranch seasoned onion rings

So I have only been to the Tonawanda store, so went try out the new location in Cheektowaga. The space is small, and I can see parking being an issue when busy as the lot is small, and there was some construction going on. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The burgers were just as good as the other location I've had. I thought they were a little smaller in size but the flavor and cook was still perfection. Overall they are still one of my top burger spots! Always cooked as requested, and a beautiful cheesy mess, in a good way

Was craving burgers and didn't want the arches or the king. Found this spot a few miles away from our hotel and thank goodness we stopped by. From the service to the creative menu options, A+! The sweetest lady gave us recommendations and was very attentive. The inside was clean and played 90s music. The burgers tasted so good and they have the best fries. My kid is super picky and she gave the fries a 100/100. Definitely would recommend this place to any one I know who's visiting the area.

"Fried Cheesy Tour Guide". Stuffed with Cheese and Pickled Banana Peppers, Topped with Red Sauce, Mozzarella and a Mozzarella Stick.

This location is much different than the one on Niagara Falls Blvd. I mean, in a good way. The interior is definitely smaller, more inviting and warmer. The background music was rocking during our visit. We actually ordered at our table. The service was great, and our burgers were very tasty, as always. I tried "Fried Cheesy Ture Guide" this time. The burger was stuffed with cheese, banana peppers and topped with red sauce, mozzarella and a mozzarella stick. The pickled banana peppers added some vinegary zing. It was definitely needed. Next time I will order "The French Oops 2.0". I usually only have a bite to try, but at some point I want the whole thing for myself. With lots of grilled onions and cheese, it is a really scrumptious, juicy burger:).

One of the greatest gems in WNY! Although it is slightly pricy (~$25 for a full meal) you cannot get a tastier burger and fries! Plenty of creative, delicious menu items for everyone, and you can make your own as well. Sides of fries, onion rings and tots are all awesome! Service in both front and back of house are great.

Onions rings and Resee cup stuffed burger

I've heard a lot about this place, so we decided to try it out this past Sunday. We ordered our food to go via Postmates. I tried to pick an assortment of items to try out, so I chose a regular burger with tots, a Resee cup stuffed burger with onion rings, and the crab Rangoon eggrolls with Cajun fries. The regular burger was just okay. It's a smash burger on a normal bun with veggies on the side (tomato, lettuce, etc.). Veggies were very fresh. The meat was a little tough and was not crispy like many smash burgers are. The tots were good, but I did put them in the toaster over to crisp them up more. The stuffed burger was disappointing, and the reason I wouldn't go back. I realize I ordered a smaller burger by weight, but I still wasn't anticipating a slider on a small bun filled with what seemed like a small Resee cup and a jelly spread. The meat again was a bit tough and definitely not enough food for an adult. It's great for kids, but it's a bit pricey. The onion rings were crisp but greasy. The Crab Rangoon rolls were pretty good but needed to be crisper like an eggroll. The wrapper was a bit chewy and tough as I ate it. The filling was good, and so was the dipping sauce. The fries had a coating with Cajun seasoning and were crispy and spicy. Three stars is all I can do based on the portion size, quality, and taste.

I'm not usually a fan of extravagant burgers; I usually go for a basic cheeseburger. So I wasn't sure about this place. We did have a great waitress who gave us some great recommendations. We both got a burger she suggested. I ordered the goat island burger and my boyfriend ordered the 716 burger, which is award winning! They were both pretty good. Mine wasn't super stuffed, which I liked and there was nothing on top, which I also preferred. We also tried the pizza and strawberry cheesecake rolls, they were alright. Overall, a good place to try.

Got Rock Burger on DoorDash the other night. It was a good meal in general but I feel like I would want to eat there next time. Everything was hot and ready when it was delivered. The burger and the rock sauce was so good. I got an extra side of the sauce to use for my fries. The fries were good. Tasted like they were homemade which is always nice. The burger was made great except the lettuce and onion were off it separately and you had to add them yourself. Not a big deal but the top bun was very stuck with cheese to the top which wasn't great to lose to add in the lettuce. Overall, it was good. It was very expensive and that might be DoorDash. I'd go again and eat there in hopes of it being a little cheaper.

I keep on the lookout for a good value on the delivery apps. We don't use them enough to subscribe,…read moreso that makes it even more necessary to find the good deals. ZamZam Burgers & Fried Chicken is one of those gems! On UberEats they usually have BOGOs on their three piece fried chicken and fries combo and their cheeseburgers...among other items. We've also tried the chicken rice bowls and the fried chicken subs. We've never been disappointed...they seem to put care into preparing the food. They've always followed our special requests and bonus for using sustainable packaging! My favorite are the cheeseburgers, the patty is thin but wide, which is how I like mine. They come with cheddar, mustard, ketchup, pickles and onions. You can tell the beef is fresh and hand formed, no frozen pucks here! The fried chicken and fries are also delicious. I sprinkle a little salt on the chicken, makes it perfect for me. Excellent value for delivery and we'll definitely be back. I hope you give them a try! Thank you for being awesome, ZamZam!!

This spot is an Haal and Korean influence. Starting with the…read moreBeef Burger Deluxe, I was immediately struck by the quality of the patty. Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and elevated by the subtle sweetness of the beet root. The Peri Peri Fries were a worthy sidekick - crispy, well-seasoned, and packing a pleasant kick. Then came the Korean Hot Wings. Forget what you think you know about good wings; these are a revelation. Crispy, saucy, and packing a complex, addictive heat, they might just be the best Korean hot wings in the area. Seriously. But the real showstopper? The Fried Chicken Sub. This sandwich is a masterpiece. Crunchy, yet remarkably moist chicken, loaded with flavor and nestled in a perfect bun. Not to be outdone, the Steak Rice Bowl delivered on all fronts. Generous portions of tender, flavorful steak atop a bed of perfectly cooked rice. They clearly dont skimp on flavor or portions.

South Buffalo

When it comes to the local Buffalo specialty of chicken wings, every local has a strong opinion as…read moreto where to find the best. I visit the city every year in the fall, and I am still trying all of the wing places that have been recommended. The latest on my list was Doc Sullivan's, a very, VERY local watering hole. This is the kind of place that makes you immediately remember that you are absolutely not from here, but in the best possible way. Doc's is a historic, no-frills neighborhood pub smack in the heart of South Buffalo's Irish Heritage district. The second we walked in as clearly obvious outsiders, the entire room of rough-and-tumble regulars seemed to pause their conversations, turn towards the door, and stare at us. Even the bartender (who also doubled as the host and our waiter) clocked us immediately with a cheerful, "Hey visitors!" It was hilarious and broke the awkwardness we were starting to feel. Everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming once the moment passed, but it was clear we stood out from the regular crowd. If you have an aversion to dive bars, this is not the place for you because Doc's is not fancy. It's well-worn and smells like Fabuloso cleaner mixed with stale cigarette smoke and old beer. I was surprised at how clean the place was, but it does have that dive bar smell and feel. I felt like I'd walked onto a movie set because this place screams Buffalo, and does so loudly and proudly. I'm not a fan of chicken wings, but my hubby is. Food-wise, he ordered a half dozen of the famous Smitty Wings at the suggestion of the bartender, which come coated in the house's unique spiced butter sauce along with a half dozen with hot sauce. He liked the Smitty wings fine, but preferred the classic hot Buffalo wings, which he said had legit heat and were "more than decent." Not his all-time favorite wings, but still tasty and meaty enough to earn his respect. I went with the buffalo chicken sandwich, which was massive. It was a fried chicken breast patty on a super soft, fresh roll with lettuce, tomato, and onions, tossed in a mild Buffalo sauce that had just enough heat for a timid spice girl like me. The quality was good, but not great, and it was basically the same chicken sandwich you can get at dozens of places around town (it was very similar to the same menu item at the Anchor Bar, for example). The fries were nothing special, and they tasted like regular old french fries you'd get at your local deli. They were freshly fried, hot and crispy, and we both appreciated that malt vinegar was already on the table. We had a good experience at Doc Sullivan's, but agreed that we would not go out of our way to eat here again. I wouldn't call it a must-do for foodies, but I'm still really glad we went. While the food wasn't all that memorable, it felt like a true local Buffalo experience that you don't get at polished, tourist-friendly spots. This is the place if you want to soak up local character and are seeking another stop on your buffalo wing eating tour.

The restaurant was really cool .... But The wings tasted liked they fried in the same oil as fish and it was just of putting. I wish I could have gotten past that but it was in my mind as I was trying the wings. Hopefully it was just a fluke and everyone else has a great experience. We don't live close so the chance I trying them again will probably be rare.
