TL;DR: this place has so many options, you're bound to find your favorite stuffed burger. Their food was great for the price and quantity provided. The staff was just as wonderful as their food. Support local! I just moved into the apartment complex next door and I figured why not support local businesses for the day and bought a 1/2 lb Tater Tot Rock with fries and a side of onion rings and spicy rock sauce. First off, I called the order in and the woman who answered was so sweet and was giving a good customer service impression. She cracked jokes and we discussed different foods they offered as it was my first time. I went into the restaurant and ordered ahead. I met one of the owners, Brandon, who was a very nice guy and talked with me as he rang me up. He was telling me how he fell in love with the first location and how there are so many options so even if you don't like one, that doesn't mean you won't like the others (whole heartedly agree). A very down to earth and fun guy to speak with. The restaurant was also extremely clean, nobody was eating in I believe, but definitely a nice place for a quick bite when (hopefully) Covid passes. I forgot to order the spicy rock sauce and he was nice enough to give me one on the house, Cheers Brandon! The food: the Tater Tot Rock was a UNIT. It was about the size of my fist. Yes, the prices are expensive but i would say I would rather have one of these than any other burgers around. The burger was so juicy and each bite was like taking a field trip to flavor town (shout-out Guy Fieri). The Cajun fries and onion rings held up with takeout and were CRISPY! Each bite was fantastic, not too salty, but the perfect seasoning amount for everything. My picture for the burger came out blurry and I apologize, I think I got too excited smelling it the whole way home. I have to say I never thought about Bison dip on a burger until today, and I have to say it belongs with it. Cannot wait to come back and keep trying the other burgers! Keep up the great work! read more

Rock burger is unique to say the least. If you are looking for a new burger experience, or a dependable cheeseburger they have that too. The onion rings, tots and fries are all legit. Good service, original menu, rock music playing in the background make this place a nice change of pace and just plain fun! read more

Had to stop in and try this new place and concept and I was not disappointed! They have loads of different burger options and things to try and I can't wait to try them all. I had the PB and J with the reese cup burger 1/4 pound, the Buffalo mac and cheese burger 1/4 pound, and some of the best tasting tator tots I've had lol. They came with lots of different kinds of sauces to share. The only downside was perhaps the wait time but with each burger made to order this is understandable. They've got indoor and outdoor seating available and will bring your food outside to you as well. The whole place was clean and the staff were awesome and seemed enthusiastic and excited about their food. I loved this place and it's stupidly close to my house which is both fantastic and dangerous for any weight loss plans. Can't wait to come back and try more tasty burgers! read more

Seriously delicious burgers ! Great, friendly service too. Casual Burger Chain that was primarily in Niagara Falls region until recently. They specialize in stuffed burgers..... cheeses, chicken fingers, wing dip, hot peppers, pizza fixings.... you damn it, they will stuff it! You can get a mini one or a full size burger .... make it a combo with fries and a soft drink for $4 more ! I got the mini 716 burger ..... wing dip and blue cheese inside , mozzarella and pepperoni on the top bun! I indulged in my four bite masterpiece with a smile on my face, so good ! The fries had added Cajun ranch seasoning and were full of flavor without being too spicy. My dining companion went a safer route and got a fried chicken sandwich which he enjoyed as well! I can't wait to try another Stuffed burger! read more

Rock Burger Cheektowaga - Seriously yummy! - Burgers Near Me - Cheektowaga, New York

After zooming around Buffalo all afternoon, the family and I were looking for a not-too-casual restaurant to grab a burger around Cheektowaga. Looking on Yelp!, I saw that there was a Rock Burger that had just opened and immediately knew where we were going for dinner. Upon walking up to the entrance, there was a table that told customers to please wait outside if there were more than three people standing inside the entryway. In addition, paper menus under a giant container of hand sanitizer were set out. In no time, a server came out and asked if we were here to pick up a take-out order or if we were dining in, to which we said dining in. She welcomed us inside and pointed out which booths/tables we could sit at. Once we were seated and comfortable, she came over and took our drink orders and let us review their "Grand Opening Menu". Note that both the dine-in area and both restrooms were impeccably clean - something I hope they can maintain even after the "Grand Opening" feeling fades away. After a couple minutes, our server came back and took our dinner orders. We probably waited 15 minutes before all of our orders were brought out, piping hot! Really impressed with the speed. From what I saw, all of the staff were wearing masks and practicing safe social distancing. As for my dinner, I ordered "The Horseshoe Popper" (burger stuffed with jalapeño, cheese and cream cheese, and topped with cheese) half-pound Rock Stuffed Burger, pink, with Cajun Rock Fries. My goodness, this entire meal was delicious! Everything about the burger was perfect: the burger itself was piping hot and incredibly juicy and the fillings were sooo good. The multiple cheeses (American, I believe, and cream cheese) were phenomenal together and I loved the crunch of the big jalapeño slices. The bun was so good too as it was so soft and slightly toasted on the edges. After devouring the half-pound burger, I dove right into the Cajun Rock Fries and while they're just normal fries, they were cooked perfectly, at least for me - they were hot and just the right amount of softness-to-crispiness ratio. The real treat was the Cajun seasoning, adding a nice heat/spice on my lips. I totally recommend getting the combo meal as it was the perfect amount of food for dinner and was pretty reasonably priced! I've had Rock Burger before at a Niagara Falls location and while I had a great experience there, I thought the experience at this new Cheektowaga location blew it out of the water! Everything from the cleanliness, to the service and the food was excellent. I absolutely cannot wait for them to bring their full menu here. You can count on me to come back and try a new stuffed burger soon! read more

I saw so many people gave the place five star, I don't know maybe the place used to be good, or these people doesn't know how the good burger taste. Unprofessional stuff, we have to repeat the order for the cashier three times, we ordered the WNYorker, and the Rainbow mushroom, the rainbow mushroom, tasted like Indian spice, and the WNYorker, taste weird, not recommended. read more

My husband and I heard all about the wacky burgers here, so we decided to try this place out a few weeks ago. It took me a while to write this review, mostly because I was torn between feeling negative about my experience and wanting to give the place another try, which I certainly will once the Niagara Falls Blvd location opens. Anyway, we were seated immediately on a busy Friday night. The waitresses here are remarkably friendly and accommodating, each and every one of them. That's probably my favorite part of the restaurant experience here. I ordered the tater tot stuffed burger because how could I not? I normally love tater tots. I ordered a gluten free roll with my burger, which ended up holding together very well, surprisingly. My husband got the Reese's peanut butter cup stuffed burger, which sounds disgusting but was apparently pretty good. We waited about a half hour for our food. There were only four other occupied tables there, so this was a bummer. I thought it would be quicker. Our waitress was apologetic and sweet about it, so I really can't knock the service. Still, I'd worked up quite an appetite and was disappointed to discover that my burger wasn't flavorful like I was expecting. I couldn't even taste the tater tots! They were definitely in there, just not tasty. Neither was the patty. I wonder if it was seasoned at all, because it was bland. My husband and I didn't have to wait long for the check at least. I'm assuming my poor experience was a fluke and that they'll iron out the kinks soon enough at this location. Once that other location opens up, I'll be happy to come and try a different burger, as I think my choice on this occasion was probably the issue. I love the idea of this place and I bet I'll have an enjoyable time once I return. read more

Went yesterday to rock burger. My son , grandson and I went. We each got a different burger. We all enjoyed them. Would go back

The onion rings are amazing!!!!! They have been slammed since opening and I know why. We ordered the Crab Rangoon Burger and the Cheesecake Wonder. The Crab Rangoon I believe is a Rock Concoction of the day because it isn't on the menu they handed out but it was on the wall and it is super delicious. We got it without jalepeno and it was cooked to perfection and worth asking about if it doesn't make it to the regular menu. The Cheesecake Wonder is just as good. We ordered the small (to try to save on calories). It is stuffed with NY cheesecake topped with bacon and strawberry spread them finished with powdered sugar. I have to go back for pictures - the food was eaten before I got to take any. If you go - go hungry and go often to try all the unique burgers. read more

Delicious messy burgers. We ordered Rock burger takeout. My husband order the 716 stuffed burger, a 1/2 lb burger stuffed with chicken wing dip and topped with cheese and pepperoni. I ordered a double rock burger with bacon and caramelized onions. The burgers were cooked perfect and our order was made in about 20 mins. Overall I really liked it and we will try dining in next time. Only down side is it is a bit pricey. read more

Service was good the woman that took our order was great. I'm not a chef or a food critic, but I'll do my best to give a brief review. I ordered a burger with two sides that came as part of the meal, along with a kid's meal. Overall, the food was good--no complaints about the taste or quality. However, the total for two people came out to $40, which felt a bit excessive to me. read more

We have driven past this place so many times and never stop but I'm so glad we did! First of the location was spotless! We were greeted immediately the menu was in display and they had so many options! I had the mushroom burger well done and it was so amazing I'm still drooling over it!! My husband had a regular cheese burger and it was well seasoned. I also ordered onion rings so good! The waitress was so friendly and she even went out of her way to tell us that they offered 15 percent off for military discount! I definitely would go again! I wish I took pictures but I was so hungry lol read more

First time here. We were seated immediately and the waitress gave us a few minutes with the menu. Everything looked so good! We ordered the crab Rangoon rolls and some burgers. The rolls were so good but we weren't given plates, forcing us to use napkins. Our burgers came out shortly after. I looked around for a knife but we didn't have one. Thankfully a gentleman saw me looking around and was able to get my a knife. He introduced himself as the manager and he was really nice and approachable. We got to chat for a few minutes and learn more about the place. We were still eating when the waitress asked us if we were still picking. Thought this was a bit odd as she saw us talking to the manager. Very little place but I would recommend. read more

Come hungry! These burgers are no joke. You definitely will be walking away thinking about what burger you want to try next. I ordered the Barrel Jumper which is stuffed with buffalo chicken fingers, cheese and mac and cheese then topped with more cheese, bacon and blue cheese! Omg. This burger was amazing and slightly intimidating at first glance. I would definitely order it again but there are just so many other combinations that are intriguing. I also ordered the plain tots(they offer different seasonings as well) with a side of their rock sauce (which basically tastes like a fresher big mac sauce). The tots and sauce combo were a delight. They do have a dining area inside with some of the tables blocked off for covid which limits the space a bit. At the time I came seating was no worry. All of the workers were super friendly and attentive. read more

Visiting Buffalo from California and this place came highly recommended. It DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Very sweet girl helped us and recommended some we wouldn't normally try. Well worth the stop! We shared the onion rings (yum), The tight rope (cooked perfectly and the egg was delish), the Buffalo mac daddy (cooked perfectly. Chicken tender was great, all the sauce was delish), the mac trolley was less frilly and soo good with the Big Mac sauce that's house made. Try the cheesecake wonder - wasn't one we'd normally try but was recommended and one of everyone's favorites! Thanks for the great food! read more

The quality of the burgers are above average when compared to a burger from a regular fast food restaurant, but priced accordingly. The speed you get these burgers at is horrendous. I ordered take out and waited in the store store 25 minutes. When they finally called my name, I was still polite and said thank you with a smile, with no response back. A simple apology would've been nice. The onion rings are also very oily and overseasoned. Still a decent above average burger, with unique names, but not one worth coming back for. read more

I was craving a burger this weekend and man was I glad to find this spot. I've seen posts on social media with their truly ignorant burgers but never tried it so why not?! I had the Reese's experience which was Reese's peanut butter cups inside a burger with cheese and jam and all that goodness! The roll was so soft and fresh too! I definitely didn't need onion rings but I got them and they were pretty good! My husband had the king of rock which was a chicken patty between two burgers. He also loved it! I definitely recommend and j can't wait to try some others like the Doritos torch or the 716! read more

It was a Friday night and the boyfriend passed out on the couch after work. I was on my own for dinner and wanted a burger! I have a rule were I wait a bit to try new restaurants and had sat on Rock Burger for a bit. Tonight was the night! I hate to say it but I hate the font they use for the menu. I find it hard to read. I tried to call and the phone was busy so I figured why not just go there and order. I didn't let the nearly full parking lot deter me and headed in to order. The guy who cashed me out said this was the busiest time today. I still felt I was taken care of promptly and the staff was pleasant! Anyhow I browsed the crazy burger options and settled on the Niagara which is cheese stuffed and cheese topped. I went with the 1/4 lb. and added bacon as well as a side of spicy ranch fries. I'd say it took about 17 minutes for my order to be complete and I got my burger no pink. I didn't pay attention to the fact that they called the 1/4 lb. a "mini" and laughed when I saw it appeared to be a slider. Well, looks are deceiving because it was the perfect size for me since I got all those delicious fries too! I think I will stick with the little 1/4 lb. specialty burgers in the future since I'm not a big eater. I'm not sure the $1.50 upcharge for bacon should be the same for this little guy as a 1/2 lb. but it was so very tasty. The bacon was cooked perfectly! I have no idea what kind of cheese and or cheeses were on or in my burger. I'd like to see more complete descriptions as well as a better menu font. Other than that it was just what I needed for my solo Friday dinner. I will be back! read more

Stopped in to finally try these burgers that I've heard do much about! From the moment we stepped into the restaurant we were greeted with a friendly happy face. We took a seat at a booth that was available and we were given menus and offered drinks. After taking sometime to read all the different burger descriptions, I decided to go with the Dorito Explosion with a side order of onion rings. I mean who doesn't love doritos??! My order came hot off the grill within 15 minutes. It was delivered by the chef and owner. He was very nice and happy to have us there for the 1st time. The burger was just the right size, had great flavor too! It was filled with cool ranch doritos, topped with cheese, ranch dressing and wing sauce! The onion rings were yummy too and the onions actually stayed in the ring when I took a bite. I will definitely be back to try the French onion oops! read more

My wife and I have been wanting to try this place for some time. We finally took advantage of a day we didn't have plans and made it out to the one on union. We gazed over the menu and the options that they have were very overwhelming but made me know that I was coming back because they had about 5 burgers I wanted to order. They have two sizes mini and a normal size 1/4 and 1/2 lb.The smaller sizes makes it nice to try multiple burgers as it only cost about 6-7 bucks. The customer service here was very welcoming and the lady that waited on us was extremely nice and helpful as we were new the the menu. The cleanliness of this place was noted and I look forward to trying other creations on my next visit here! read more

This is a burger place average at best my first thoughts when i walked in was bland and boring. The table we sat (yes i went with a group) was shaking and rocking back and forth mad it uncomfortable to do anything. We ordered are food they had some nice choices and interesting ones as well. The meat itself was not that good but the stuffing and the theme was what made it tasteful. A party in my group asked for rare rare and got well done. Oh my.. having this new location so close is very dangerous and will definitely ruin any chance of weight loss I was planning! I went to the original location a few times and thought it was good but yesterday at this location was wayyyyyyyy better. I ordered for take out and the burger held up well for the drive home. Everyone working including the guy that took my order on the phone were all very friendly, the place was a much better atmosphere than the random dark spot in the back of a sketchy bar so that was a nice change with this location too. My order was ready within 20 minutes which surprised me since it was around lunch time but no complaints about that. This time I tried a new burger stuffed with cheese and Doritos , topped with bacon and chicken wing dip (can't remember the name). The burger is so flavorful on its own but all the additions add so much more if you're in to that. I decided it may have been too much for me all at once so I may scale it down a bit next time but overall it was still delicious and a big sloppy mess which is how I like my burgers. Wow. This was hands down THE BEST burger I have ever had in my entire life. Our experience was great from start to finish. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress and brought to our table almost immediately. We had a party of 4 and all got something different but tried each others. We had the Goat Island, the Doritos Torch, Big Mac daddy, and Reese's. All of them were PHENOMENAL. The Reese's one sounded so strange to me but it was honestly SO good. We had the Cajun tots, ranch fries, onion rings and the Oreo rock rolls as our sides and all of them were nothing short of amazing. After our meal one of the owners, Brandon, came out to chat with us and I personally love that about a restaurant. He was so personable and that combined with the great food made me want to come back asap! We also did not feel overly full to the point where we felt sick (which was what I was expecting to feel). The portions are perfect so you leave feeling very satisfied. We will be back for sure! read more

This location is new! The menu has plenty of options/flavor combinations for their signature stuffed burger. I chose the "My Boy Blue" burger. On the side I chose the spicy cajun fries which were very crispy and perfect. The menu offers a regular style burger if you're not feeling the extra stuff. If my burger didn't have the extra toppings I worry the actual burger patty would not have been very flavorful as I had parts of my stuffed burger that were plain.
