OMG...to say we were disappointed is definitely an understatement. Onion rings were cooked to hard, the crab ragoon rolls were cooked to hard, the fries were cooked to hard and all three of our burgers were TASTELESS. I will never ever go to this location when in town visiting. My first visit months ago was excellent when I was in town felt bad that I bragged about it and took two newcomers that was just as disappointed as I was. The burgers are huge, delicious and come in several varieties. Only issue was it was freezing in there and the chef wasn't able to great the burger temp how I would of wanted. Meaning: I asked for medium well, and the waitress told me that, that wouldn't be possible. I had to choose either medium and well done. Well, on my end I didn't find that to be a big problem. This restaurant is trying hard to be creative...unfortunately it's not executed well. I understand the desire to stand out from the competition with unique burgers, the griffon pubs pb&j burger is an excellent example of that. While traveling through the area I picked up dinner. I ordered a stuffed burger - My Boy Blue, and Onion Rings with the spicy ranch batter. The burger was unique and tasted great. It was stuffed with tasty blue cheese and bacon. The bun was fresh and toasted properly. The toppings- lettuce, tomato, and onions were fresh and on the side. I ordered the onion rings with a spicy ranch batter. The heat was medium-low, but the taste came through. Every Ring was golden, crispy, and warm. The staff was friendly and personable. The music and pictures of Buffalo were very inviting. The service was really good. Was greeted each time with a smile and food came out rather fast. The wait time was less than ten minutes. I'm not really sure how this place stays in business. The burgers were not very good and the stuffing, the reason why you go there, is melted into the burger and you can't really taste it. For just starting out this place is super solid! First off the staff was a great group of people, the girls at the front counter were super friendly and made great conversation. While checking out either the manager or the owner ( I'm not entirely sure) came out to meet with each customer. He was basically the energizer bunny because he was helping out with everything also while greeting customers. Solid staff! The food was ready as soon as I got there and when I got home everything was hot and fresh. I ordered the Doritos explosion burger which was stuffed with cheese and Doritos and topped with Frank's and bison dip. The burger was moist and the cheese was a plenty. The overall flavor was fantastic!! You can even pair your burger with not just fries, but tots, onion rings and even pizza logs!! I got the pizza logs and hands down they were the best pizza logs I have ever tasted, soft crispy crust on the outside with tons of cheese and pepperoni on the inside! I will definitely be back because there are so many flavor combinations that I wanted that it was hard to choose just for the beginning. I heard raving reviews about this place from a coworker. I rarely go out to eat, but I was in the area and decided to try it as I hadn't been out in a while. There were four people in my party, each with a different stuffed burger. I was thrilled to try this place out and the stuffed ingredients sounded amazing! Unfortunately, the stuffings has very little flavor. I had Mac and cheese and chicken fingers, didn't have a flavor; my mom had mushroom of which she said she noticed just a couple; another person commented he tasted the bacon but no blue cheese-blue cheese is extremely pungent, which was both on the inside and on top; the fourth person also didn't taste the Mac and cheese. The fries and onion rings tasted amazing! I had the Cajun variety, excellent flavor and texture, skimpy on portion though. I didn't leave too full and expected more fries (they're super cheap-what's the deal?) The burgers themselves were really good, not cheap Burger King/McDonald's variety, the brioche bun was good but could've been toasted a bit more. Altogether the totally came to $60 for 4 people. The service was excellent, but the food could've been better. This could be because of the store being only 3 weeks or so old. Needless to say, because I don't eat out much, I probably won't visit again, at least for a long time. Great customer service. Placing a to-go order was a breeze with an attentive and patient staff member on the other end of the phone, more than willing to explain the ins and outs of the Rock Burger menu. I was told that the 1/4 lb burger is more like a slider, and that they had gotten some "complaints on the size" we opted for the 1/2 lb burgers. You have the option of "pink or no pink". We ordered 3 different burgers; 2 pink 1 no pink and all were cooked as requested. I called around 2:30 for a 6pm order. We got there 5 mins before 6 and the order was ready. The food was hot and fresh when we got home. We all enjoyed our burgers which were the crab Rangoon, my boy blue, and the horseshoe popper. They're not like "large-large" but they're still large enough.. if that makes sense. You'll be able to finish it but you'll definitely have to unbutton your jeans if you finish your burger and side! Speaking of sides. I'd come back just for those! We loved that the onion rings were beer battered. My friend who got the tots with the spicy ranch was a little disappointed in the "spicy-ness" nonetheless he said they were the best tots he's ever had, nice and crispy. Stopped for dinner, food is good, but the reason for the low rating was the amount of bugs flying around. It was awful. Little fruit flies I suppose but they really interfered with our meal. Also the fact that you have to request a check or they just ring you up at the register. How are you supposed to know if you are being charged correctly if you cant see it. I just tried Rock Burger (I've never been to any location) in Cheektowaga a few days ago. It was excellent. It was a snowy day, a later lunch. The restaurant was empty, a few take out orders came through. Our food was a little slow to come out, but it was all exceptional. My son and I both had a hard time choosing our burgers - too many looked good! I settled on the Tight Rope Walker with ranch tots and my son got the Barrel jumper with spicy ranch tots. We also got an order of Cajun onion rings. My son doesn't usually like onion rings but declared these to be the best he's ever had. I agree. The tot were also really great. The spicy ranch was much better than plain ranch. Cajun onion rings were honestly amazing. The burgers were also great, but oddly overshadowed by the sides. So good. I now intend to work my way through their burger menu one at a time. It might take me a year or two, but I'm looking forward to it. Check these guys out! read more

We have been to a lot of burger joints from fine dining to hole in the wall restaurants, but Wow this is the best burger we have ever had. Very flavorful and delicious.
