My family is so excited that big slice Pizza has finally re-opened. We stopped and picked up the cinnamon puffs because we were craving them. Although the restaurant was closed for several months and is now under new ownership, the puffs do not disappoint. The service was excellent and the restaurant is cleanclean and freshly redone. The cashier was okay again Friday most likely busy since it was a Friday, I like to start off that yes knowing it was a Friday it will be busy but that shouldn't be an excuse to get Luke warm food. We ultimately said that the food is tasty and good but would have been better if it was warm. Thinking it was probably just sitting there. Another party got their food same time as us so I wonder if theirs was cold as well. I hate to write a negative review for a locally owned business, but I hope I can spare someone else the over two-hour wait we endured only to be met with cold pizza. We decided we were not up for cooking or going out after a particularly stressful week. I placed an online order at 5:54 pm for 3 pizzas (cheese & pepperoni) and a side of ranch. The order was confirmed with a 30-40 min wait. Shortly after we received an update with a new time of 7-7:16 pm delivery. At this point, I should have called and canceled. Better yet, I wish they would have just contacted me and told me it was busy and would take longer than expected. We waited and waited, growing more hungry and annoyed as time passed. At 7:20 pm I called to get an update on the order. I was told it would be here in 10 minutes. It did not arrive for 30 more minutes after that and was cold on arrival along with no side of ranch. Hubby and I stopped by Big Slice Pizza in downtown Fullerton, after hearing it was under new management. When we walked in, they greeted us and were both very welcoming. As we were looking over the menu, and trying to decided what we wanted, the woman cashier (Bree) and owner (Danny) gave us some suggestions. One suggestion was their pizza fries. We ended up ordering a Pepperoni and Jalapeno Pizza. Let me just say it was amazingly delicious!! We also ordered a house salad, and it was good too. They also have beer on tap, which is great. They have happy hour specials between 3pm and 6pm. We will definitely be back to try their pizza fries. Come check this Pizza spot out!
