We are regulars here. It's close to home and solidly consistent. The service is great. The vibe is usually chill. I enjoy the chicken katsu - it often makes 3 meals if I make my own rice. My partner and his bff like many of their sushi rolls. We'll keep coming back!

Though unassuming at first glance, I was surprised at the absolute game Big Fish Sushi brought. For one, the fish quality here is hands down some of the best in the Bothell/Mill Creek area, AND they cook their rice to the perfect texture. The sushi here tends to be bigger, but that's typically only an issue for me when the rice far outweighs the fish in ratio, which thankfully isn't the case. I took down a star because I found that all the rolls with mayo (Paradise Roll and S.M.T Gunkan Maki) were completely overpowered. Unless you're into the saucy kind of sushi (which I'm not), I would just advise against ordering anything with mayo or at least asking for it on the side. I'm definitely revisiting this spot but specifically for the superb nigiri. Service wise, the staff were extremely kind and attentive so no notes on that. Parking is also easy as it shares a parking lot with the Mud Bay next door.

What I liked: the service, the tea, and ramen. Restrooms: overall very clean Sushi: fresh, spicy tuna was delicious. Why I'm taking down a star: we ordered another roll that didn't look like the picture at all and the tuna was TINY on it. Felt cheated a bit on that. Overall - worth a visit and I'd come again to check out additional dishes.

I ordered takeout from Big Fish Sushi recently, and enjoyed my dinner. I got Gyoza, Spicy Tuna roll, and Dream Salmon roll. Great rolls, I'll have to try more soon.

Amazing sushi! My friends and I ordered delivery from here and everything was relatively inexpensive (even with the charges being upped for delivery). I got the eel roll with avocado for $7.95 and the vegetable tempura for $6.75. All of it was very filling and well made! They were open on the 4th, which was very appreciated as well!

This has become our favorite sushi spot in the Mill Creek/north Bothell area. The food is consistently fresh and delicious and service is great. We came here again for dinner the other night and had a great meal. We ordered a bunch of rolls, including some basic rolls and some specialty rolls. I also got a miso soup. The soup was hot and delicious. All of the sushi was beautifully presented in a sushi boat and tasted as good as it looked. Their spicy tuna is definitely a must get as it has so much flavor and is delicious. I highly recommend coming here if you are craving sushi. Prices are on the reasonable side too for the area.

Black volcano roll, spicy tuna roll, salmon roll and dynamite roll they also have great poke bowls!

Always a great meal and service! We love this place and go frequently. They also do a heck of a door dash business as the orders never stop while we enjoying our meal. The place is always clean and staff are friendly. Thank you Big Sushi!

Nice to have another sushi option in Bothell! This one hits the mark with a variety of sushi and popular offerings. -Busy at dinner (always a good sign), efficient service. Staff is busy and focused and you can tell they want you to have a good experience but they are juggling a lot. I like their quick check out on their mobile devices. -rolls were comfortably sized , not too small and not large. -variety of sushi offerings, and will cure your craving. Just seemed a tad bland. - tempura has a solid batter, on the thicker side. - nice atmosphere, clean restaurant and I didn't smell greasy when I left. - pretty presentation , their serving platters and presentation clearly is a focus and a nice touch. - the lava cake was a nice sweet treat but nothing special. Bland and looked processed.

This is a definite return place. 1) Cheaper than our go-to sushi place 2) Faster than our go-to sushi place 3) Checked in and gave refills on drinks without us needing to ask 4) Rewards program 5) Nice decor Give them a chance and I think you will become a regular

We stopped by for lunch since we kept passing by the restaurant on the way to our kids school. The server was nice and the food was tasty. They placed the sushi on a wooden boat, which added a nice touch.

Sushi boat for two, and a combination of California rolls, dragon rolls, and crunchy shrimp rolls!

Food, service, atmosphere, everything 110% some of the fresh sushi I have ever had everyone in my party enjoyed it immensely! great job, big fish sushi!

This place never disappoints. The service is amazing, and the sushi rolls are unique and large. We celebrated a birthday there and were treated extra special, complete with a chocolate lava cake sundae.

Really enjoyed our lunch here and the atmosphere. I've heard good things so we decided to try it out on a lazy Monday off. We got the pork Katsu bento box, the 3 roll special (which I love they have as an option cuz like, who only orders one roll?), and a separate more "fancy" roll. Loved everything. The California roll was exactly as expected and I loved the soft rice. The other rolls were nicely packed and flavorful, and the servers were quite nice and attentive. No negatives here so we plan on returning soon. I definitely recommend. Not a large place though so probably good to arrive early or during odd hours when possible.

I personally prefer my noodles a bit softer and more well-done, though it seems both this location and Cap Hill serve them slightly al dente. That said, I ended up liking the red ramen more than the miso. For some reason, the overall quality of the food here felt even better than at Cap Hill. I'll definitely be coming back. The server was also very friendly and sweet.

Yet, it's disappointing to say that we've been sourly disappointed the last 2-3 times we came here. Not sure if it's management change or something happened, but Nakagawa lost its magic with us. 1. The service has been terribly slow and just not inviting anymore. After ordering, we waited easily 35-40 min for the food. I know it takes time to meticulously prep rolls, but after 30 min of just sitting and waiting, you can't help but start feeling hangry. And this isn't just a one-time occurrence - this happened multiple times for us. 2. The bento box quality. I LOVE bento boxes - it was such a treat to dine on so many different Japanese options, like a sampler box of goodness. Ranging from nigiri to sushi, from tempura to the soup, bento boxes have a special place in my heart. Yet, I feel like Nakagawa's bento boxes have sadly missed that mark. The protein (chicken teriyaki/katsu) tastes old and oddly mushy, and the portions are quite small, just leaving me wanting more. Don't get me wrong - the fish is still good. Solid place for seafood, paired with a lengthy wait. But Nakagawa just lost its touch with us, and driving that 30-35 min trek is not worth it for us anymore.

When we had left just a few minutes shy of 12pm, the restaurant was full and there were a few parties waiting outside. The staff were very attentive and would immediately replenish our radish if we were low. The jjamppong and jjajangmyeon tasted fine, if anything the jjajangmyeon was a little sweet. The fried rice however (without the jjajang sauce) was pretty bland and a bit dry. I don't know if it's intentional because they give the sauce on the side but I'd like to have the rice taste good without the assistance of the sauce. Other than the bland and dry rice, my only other nitpick would be that the jjajangmyeon came out a lot later than the other dishes. Otherwise we paid around $117 (without tip), for five dishes and two appetizers, which I think is pretty good for this area.

I was expecting a noodle forward Korean place but it's a Chinese Korean fusion place. I struggle with fusion food.... The place was not busy on a Wednesday night and seated immediately with very quick and kind service throughout with very nice ladies! A little plate of pickled Daikon was immediate and oddly refilled before gone. No ban Chan here though which disappointed me! I can live on the little Korean pickled snacks! Menu is QR code. Very clean restaurant with ample parking. We ordered the beef and noodle soup and they were great at backing out the other seafood for me beyond prawns. We also got the pork cooked in a sauce with rice and a fried egg on top. Food came quite fast. The noodle dish was good but sort of spicy and very gochujang heavy. But I liked the broth. It didn't like me the next day. It was essentially a stir fried beef prawns and vegetables in a Kimchee soup style with basically large spaghetti noodles. I'm pretty sure most of this came from the chef store next door. Not fresh or unique noodles. I would order this again if I went there. The pork dish was really a very sweet gloppy mess with a nice mound of rice topped with a fried egg. We didn't eat much of this and took it home. Maybe my wife will eat the leftovers?? Overall I am generous here with 4 stars, mostly for service, and we are on the fence over returning again. Decent food but just not our "jamb". Ultimately we ate the leftover spaghetti soup (I felt ill after) but threw out most of the gloppy sweet pork dish and rice packed in a cardboard box that dried out!
