I saw this place on another platform.. So I decided to drive down and see if its as good as it looked.. It's a small place tucked away in a strip mall.. The lady inside was very sweet and friendly. The Philly Cheesesteak Was Really Really Good!! The price was a bit high, but it was really good.

Just wanted to update my review - I'm at another place called flos in riv, and it made me miss big daddys cheesesteaks. Worth the trip

A little hole in the wall kind of place! A gem if you will! I had moved to hemet for a rotation and it was hard to find good food spots that weren't the typical franchises. I am so glad I found this place during my lunch. The staff and dining experience felt very welcoming and homey like you came in to eat at your cousin's. Their cheese steak was so good! I got the original cheesesteak and added mushrooms to it. The fluffiness of the bread elevated the sandwich but I do wish they had more meat to cheese ratio, I just prefer the gooieness of it. But other than that, it was an amazing lunch with an amazing atmosphere! Def come try if you're in the area!

Got here and there was no line. The smell and ambience was inviting. Instantly had help upon walking through the door . Friendly smile , good service and food came out fairly quick. Update : The food was amazing! The pepper Philly cheese steak with the chili sauce was the perfect combination. The chili cheese fries was the perfect amount . Personally I'd prefer shredded cheese over the nacho cheese but overall it was still of good quality.

The best of all time !!! 10/10 recommend !!

Great service and delicious food !! Always happy with big daddy's !!! Small and cozy !!

My family is from the east coast where we enjoyed Hoagies and meatball sandwiches. It's been years that we've been able to find a sandwich shop where it made us feel like home. Philly cheesesteak was a wonderful reminder of younger days, the meatball sandwiches ( no photo) gave you a homemade feeling and the sub was one of the best we've had since coming to the west coast. Very small shop with great prices and a warm welcome. Will definitely be our go to sandwich shop.

Awesome joint. An authentic tasting cheesesteak away from Philly. The portion size justifies the price. It's a good balance of meat with the onions and mushrooms. Got the large and only ate half, so enough for another meal. The bread is soft and not super greasy. Definitely deserves another visit.

This review is strictly do to the fact that I wasn't able to order. I walked in, 3 people sitting down only. There's two workers, neither decided to even bother to look up and greet as I enter or even acknowledge I was there. Mind you there have a bell that lets you know someone walked in. 7 minutes go by, I know because I was like man I know they have to know I've been standing here and just ignored me while the were both in the back. Finally the lady tells the young man to go up front. No greeting, just says are you here to pickup. I said no, I'm here to place an order. Again all while no eye contact says cool I'll be with you in a few minutes. What? I've been here for a while before even acknowledged, now I need to wait even longer? Crazy. They clearly didn't care for my business and if you're reading this, take this as a HUGE sign, they don't care for yours either. STAY AWAY, GO TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. YOUVE BEEN WARNED.

Best cheesesteak in Cali. Bread, steak, cheese, and peppers all hit the spot. Owners were super cool and restaurant was clean. Really cool vibe with cool staff and delicious cheesesteaks.

This is the kinda jawn where you walk in and immediately feel like you should've worn your good sweatpants. First thing you see is the Amarosa rolls sittin' there like a care package from home. Six packs. For the exiled East Coasters who been wanderin' the desert west lookin' for salvation. You grab one and whisper "Go Birds" under your breath like a prayer. But here's the kicker. The thing that made me sit back and whisper "holy jawn" to myself. They got water ice. Not "Italian ice." Not "shaved ice." Not "snow cones." Wuddir ice. A dozen flavors deep. A rainbow of frozen Philly childhood trauma therapy. Cherry that stains your lips like you just fought someone behind a Wawa. Mango that tastes like summer in Wildwood. Lemon that hits you with that perfect sour slap. Blue raspberry that should be illegal but isn't because God loves us. The dining room? Bro. It's a time capsule. A couple Rocky posters, a faded Eagles banner, and some Philly relics that look like they were stolen from a South Street pawn shop in 1998. Nobody's here for ambiance. The ambiance is the sound of the flat-top hissin' and some guy in a faded Brian Dawkins tee orderin' "two to tree" sangwidges like he's callin' plays at the Linc. And the cheesesteak? Best one west of the Mississippi, swear on my mother's gravy. Meat chopped proper, cheese melted like it's tryin' to hug you, onions sweatin' harder than a Cowboys fan in December. You grab a sack of these beauties, waddle out to your car, and eat 'em in the front seat like the feral Delco rat you truly are. Grease on the steering wheel. Roll crumbs on your hoodie. Tears in your eyes. Pure joy. By the time you're halfway through, you're poundin' the dashboard yellin' "BIRDS" at nobody. A stranger walks by and you nod at him like, yeah, we from the same tribe. He knows. You know. The universe knows. Five stars. This jawn healed somethin' in me I didn't know was broken.

Instead, I spent over $50 on two chicken cheesesteaks, cold fries, two fountain drinks, and donut holes -- and it was an absolute disaster. Let's start with the bread. It tasted like someone washed it, then smashed it and said, "Cook it up!" It was flat, soggy, and had none of the fresh, soft texture you'd expect from a real sandwich bun. The chicken cheesesteaks weren't even close to what was advertised. The cheese was melted terribly -- like a 4th grader's science project -- and the chicken had zero seasoning, with little to none on the bread. This was *not* the flavorful sandwich I was promised. The fries were cold, the donut holes were whatever because they lacked sugar, and the fountain drinks were the only part of this that weren't a letdown. But honestly, $50 for this? I could've gotten better food for half the price. I wanted to give this place a shot, but now I know better. Pardon My Cheesesteak clearly doesn't care about quality, and I'm definitely not coming back. Save your money and find something better.

What a unique restaurant! You can order American food like cheesesteaks, burgers...then order some…read moreFilipino food. Perfect for a couple like my husband & I, where he always prefers American food but I always want rice. Lots of parking. Not the prettiest inside, but everything was clean & the staff were very friendly. Although the boy at the register kept getting our order wrong. My hubby asked for the large 16" Philly, and even clarified twice, but was charged & given the small 8" one instead. He was also bummed that his Philly didn't come with fries, we thought it came with it since it wasn't clarified on the menu nor did the boy taking our order asked if we wanted fries with it. Nevertheless, my husband loved his Philly cheesesteak. Also, none of us asked for lumpia, but it was added to our order. It was a nice mistake tho because the pork lumpia was crispy & delicious. I also ordered both the lechon kawali & the tapsilog. The tapas in the tapsilog was delicious & had the perfect flavor. The lechon kawali could have been a little crisper, but my husband enjoyed that as well. We would definitely come back next time we're in town & craving Filipino & cheesesteaks.
