They had the long table in the middle set up for us and were quick and ready to get us all seated and served. The inside of the restaurant is small but very charming, with lots of airplane memorabilia and decor. The outside has a nice covered patio where you can actually watch some of the planes taking off or landing if you're lucky with your timing. Our large group got our food out very quickly. I'm so impressed by how fast they work while having the food still tasting fresh and hot. We were especially impressed by the special hot dog one of us ordered (I forgot the exact name), but it was loaded with toppings and she could barely get through half of it. Such a deal! As well, the kitchen served a large group incredibly fast. * The Problem: One guest ordered a medium-rare steak that came out completely overcooked. When she asked for a remake, the manager came out and insulted her to her face, told her that if he remade it it would be exactly the same, then sarcastically asked if she "wanted him to slap down a raw steak on her plate." She said it was fine, kept the food, then later left the table and broke into tears in the restroom. * The Confrontation: After dinner, I approached him calmly to offer polite, constructive criticism based on professional customer service experience (worked restaurants for years in a restaurant my family owned) He became fiercely stubborn, denied the insult, and grew so aggressive and volatile that I had to walk away. * The Staff's View: Tellingly, multiple staff members whispered comments to our group about how awful this manager is to work for.
