I ordered the burger special and the burgers bun was cold and not toasted enough and the fries did not taste fresh even though I saw the guy fry them in the back. The fries were hard and they serve way to many. The fries deserve to be in there own seperate bag. They also over charge for onion rings and zucchinis. The only thing I enjoyed was the orange whip. I will not go back. When I moved here in 2011, the food was decent up until 2020. They don't have solid staff and the food has went down in preparation. read more

I ordered a cheeseburger combo which is a normal meal. After @5 minutes the food came hot. The fries and burger were good. Nothing exciting. The service was good and the overall appeal of the location was as expected. I will drop by again and try other items. For a small beach type burger place, in the middle of Hemet, it was not bad at all. The one recommendation I would say they need is an ice cream cone or soft serve for the summer. I ordered small chillies cheese fries two. And two hotdogs with two drinks. I tried to give the lady the card number (sound like she had a thick accent)over the phone twice she didn't put the number in right for the total she claimed it declined. First she said the total was 33 dollars and something. So I said I'll pay cash then the total was 44 dollars. Not once did she say the driver doesn't give change. I gave the delivery driver a 50 dollar bill thinking 5 dollar back. He said they didn't tell you we don't give change? When I brought it to the staff's attention, they apologized and offered to replace it with a Coke. She said she's been telling the manager to fix it so it's obvious something it's wrong However, when I asked for a refund of the $2 difference in price, the manager refused. It wasn't about the money, but about the courtesy of acknowledging the mistake. Don't let the small hometown looks deceive you. This place is the bomb. Placed in the center of town it's a good location for a quick bite to eat. I ordered the veggie with cheese and no onion and got a diner style $10 burger in return. The people were kind and quick at work and ready to receive my feedback on the meal. I ordered an avocado, burger, chili, cheese, fries, and a salad. I ordered it for delivery when the delivery guy got here. He said he doesn't take a card that I have to call and pay with my card. I tried doing that and the lady I talked to today said well everyone usually pays with cash I didn't have cash so I said let me pay for it now because the delivery guy was here at my door. She said she couldn't do my payment because she didn't have my receipt. She kept hanging up on me I kept calling back so I could pay for my food that was delivered. The delivery guy was waiting at the door finally after she hung up on me like four times. I told the delivery guy just take the food back. I don't want it. First time I try this corner burger stand and last . Came here for breakfast and my co worker ordered the omelette plate(pic above) $12.99 . No taste to it and very plain, she asked and was charged for chili and onions on top which as you can see wasn't on the plate . My other co worker ordered the double cheeseburger special. She asked and paid for 1. Extra egg $.2.29 2. Extra avocado $1.99( yes probably 1 slice) 3. Zuccini instead of fries which was understandable. Grand total for her meal was $26 !!!!!! FRIED MUSHROOMS: uggh!! So disappointed. I was referred to this place from my girlfriend who has lived in Hemet her whole life. Since there was three of us here at the house I ordered two orders of fried mushrooms at seven dollars a piece. They were soggy and undercooked. I have never, ever had an order of fried mushrooms that were like this. I was surprised because undercooked mushrooms would be the same thing as undercooked fries. Can you imagine driving away with fries that were lukewarm and when you bit into them they were cold? If you order the mushrooms here please make sure you tell them that you want them cooked well!!! Came here after the library visit on a Thursday around noon. I couldn't smell food from the outside so I figured everything is made fresh upon order. The lady came, greeted us and passed out our menus. They are wrapped in some crinkled plastic. We were asked if it was our first time, we replied "yes", when she began to go over the menu with us. My hubs went with the #5 the 1/4 lb cheeseburger with some bacon, fries, and a soft drink for $7.50 and how ever much the extra bacon came out to. I decided to try a bunch of side orders to share with my granddaughter. We ordered large onion rings for $5.99, large fries for $3.50, large Zucchini for $5.99. I was very excited because I haven't cheated on my diet in a long time! While waiting I requested for them to turn the TV off because The Maury show was on, I really didn't want my 9 year listening to that garbage. They turned it off . The service is great here, the ladies were very helpful, polite, and very cheerful. I loved that! When our food came we double checked the order and made sure condiments were there along with napkins, that all checked out. We got home split the food and went to town. Everything looked delicious! I was not happy with the Onion rings or the Zucchini, they were cooked properly however, there was literally NO seasoning at all. I thought the orange tint in color meant they used Lawry's seasoning salt but No. Some of the Zucchini tasted a bit tart, almost like a pickle. This may be one of those places that you should ask for seasoning while placing your order. The fries are the larger fries which I love after adding salt they were better.
