We had two street tacos each early in the morning . They were quite good. I had the pollo tacos which were juicy chopped chunks of delicious . The cilantro and onions added to the flavor. I was not too hungry to famished the tow tacos satisfied my morning hunger. The tacos were about $3.50 a piece They were quite delicious and the service was prompt. What can I say about this place ???? I wanted to find a New Mexican food spot because I already know of 2 good ones I usually frequent near the pad. I looked online and saw this place and thought to myself I've never even heard of this place ??? And it's so close too!? I stopped by and I ordered a meal for a sibling and then for myself I ordered a Surf N Turf Burrito and I really wanted to try their Fish Taco. I'm trying to think of words because that fish taco was so bomb just the sauce alone and the way it was fried. It was literally probably hands-down one of the best fish tacos that I've had in THIS AREA. The surf inter burrito had such good flavor. I was reading some comments that had stated they ordered some Carne Asada with a burrito and they tasted a lot of fat or gristle, which is something that I do not like at all lol however, this burrito was perfect. It did not have any gristle. It was semi charred Kearny Asada, which is just the way that I like it and it had such amazing flavor with that chipotle sauce that they add to the burrito. The ratio was so great. The shrimp the Asada and the rice all mixed in a delicious combo. My sibling said that the chicken tacos were bomb and that the beans and rice tasted really authentic And I had a great flavor all around. I am very happy that I actually found this place and I am for sure. Gonna be coming back to try some more items on the menu as well as another fish taco.! read more

I had a really disappointing experience today. I waited at the drive-thru speaker for about five minutes and no one ever came on to take my order. I ended up pulling forward to the window and knocked, just to see if anyone was there. When someone finally responded, I was met with attitude and was told I needed to go back around. I explained that I had already been waiting for several minutes, but the response was still rude and unprofessional. At that point, I decided to leave and take my business elsewhere. Customer service like this is exactly why places lose customers. I understand places get busy, but there's no excuse for ignoring customers and then responding with attitude. read more

We had take out from Fernando's last night and it was great. I had the California Burrito & had them add pico de gallo on it. It was absolutely delicious. I have had this type of burrito at other Mexican restaurants; while they were "good",sometimes they are dry tasting because of the FrFries; this one from Fernando's was "Great". I think the reason is because the french fries are thin and cut up, as is the carne asada I had on it and the 3 cheese blend is exceptional. My son had Taco's ( one of each chicken, adobo, carne asada, ) and really enjoyed them. read more

My mom and I tried this place tonight and was super excited about a close to home Mexican fast food place. The food was tasty and great however the wait in the drive thru was excessively longer for a fast food place. I don't know if they were understaffed but the staff is super friendly and patient. The pricing is a little high, my mom and I ordered two burritos, el pastor fries and a taco plate at was $62 dollars. A little shocked when we rolled up to the window for that total. Don't know if we will be back but if you're lookin to spend more for a fast food place this is your place to do so. read more

I'm unsure how this place is reviewed so well but maybe we just have higher standards. I knew this place was a risk to go to considering it's attached to a gas station but the high ratings tempted me. I came in almost 2 hours before closing and the cashier wasn't exactly friendly. Seemed annoyed that we were even there and were already cleaning up the salsa bar like they were closing soon. I even double checked their hours just because I thought maybe we were being rude by eating there soon to closing but we weren't. We ordered a carne asada burrito with bean and cheese and then carne asada fries. The burrito was okay but dripped about an 1/8th of a cup of oil out. The oil was also on the fries but not as noticeable since it could soak in. The food is just okay but my biggest complaint is the quality of the carne asada. This place is charging just as much as our favorite mexican restaurant just down the road on sanderson and devonshire yet is using carne asada that resembles ground beef. This place has been my go to for local Mexican food for the past several months. I have never ordered anything I haven't been satisfied with from here, this place never misses. From the Carne Asada Fries, to the Tortas, to the Tacos, and the Enchilada plate with rice and beans. Even when I'm about to order sometimes I can't decide or order 2 menu items so I'll have something for the next day. The portions are also pretty decent for what you pay so you can even split a meal into 2 meals, which I'm often able to do so i definitely get my money's worth. Though I've only ordered through Door Dash the food is always still warm and fresh like it was just made each time, even my French fries are always warm from this place unlike most fast food places that just give you old cold fries. The salsas are also pretty good from here. I highly recommend Fernando's to anyone looking for good Mexican Food at a fair price. I've been in Hemet just over a year. Been trying all the Mexican food places. Tried Fernandos yesterday and it will be my go to for Mexican food. I had a fried taco and enchilada, came with rice and beans. Everything was good. I didn't try the Mexican snacks. It's next to a gas station. It's fast food. Has a drive through. I ordered the Carne Asada meal combo for delivery, and it was incredible. They loaded the container with so much carne asada it was practically overflowing. The rice and beans tasted authentic and flavorful, and the tortillas are huge -- easily worth the extra $1.50 each. Hello my review has to do with the recent quality of food. First of all I am not one to expect food to be perfect or anything of the sort however I have gone to Fernando's probably about a month now and it seems as though the quality of the food at first was great such as the beef was cook perfectly and wasn't to greasy or anything of the sort the last two times I have been to Fernando's the quality has come down considerably I do not know what happened or if they have a new change of cooks or are too busy to give quality however I always order the tacos which are normally great and a burrito carne asada but the last two visits the beef was saturated with oil and there was much more grit in the meat as you remove your taco from the wrapper the grease just pours off your taco on to the wrapper I called Fernando's today to ask them what happened or if they have a new cook but the person who answered the phone put me on hold for 4 minutes and then came back and asked me what was going on and I asked her for the manager and she said that they weren't in that I would have to call back about 3:00 or so I decided I'm just going to go ahead and write a brief review instead I hope they go back to making great food like when they first opened that would be nice thank you for reading. read more

Definitely wouldn't go back for anything antojitos related. Had a corn in a cup and ordered Cheetos with cheese, was giving a snack size bag for $5! Ridiculous how expensive for such a small size! Owner seemed more interested in continuing organizing than helping us so terrible service. Corn was filled with mostly water had the smallest amount of chesse and found a HAIR in our tiny bag of chettos. Never coming back again super disappointed. read more
