I am both sad and satisfied about writing this review. We've been wanting to come here for quite some time, but we're a bit concerned due to the reviews. First, the customer service was very nice. A beautiful young hostess came to greet us immediately and asked where we would like to sit. The colors of the restaurant are absolutely stunning. It is very vibrant, and I am here for it. After sitting down, we were brought chips and salsa by a sweet young man. I am normally a green salsa type of girl, but at this place, I prefer the red as it is the least spicy. Unfortunately, the red salsa also seems to lack flavor... or salt. The waitress came over and asked what we wanted to drink, and if we are ready to order. We asked for lemon water and a few more moments. My husband played it safe and ordered two beef enchiladas with rice and beans. I ordered the #75 red snapper plate. I tried to replace the French fries for a healthier option ... like a vegetable. I was told they do not have vegetables there . I asked for Bleu cheese dressing that was brought to me in the actual container from the store. Okay. I was really disappointed in the rice and beans also, there was zero flavor. I was happy that salt and pepper were on the table. My husband was also disappointed in the seasoning. My red snapper looked beautiful but was Really dry and again flavorless. Would I come back here to eat? Unfortunately, no. But... the service was good... so don't believe that part of the reviews here. It is a family run business that just needs a bit of guidance. Your menu is too big. The salsa is better fresh. A bit of spot cleaning would be lovely. Also, why is that sign in the front on Florida street still broken? I wish the city would get it together and fix the store fronts.

4 taquitos, 1 broken because my friend ATTEMPTED to eat it. He ate the wilted lettuce & sour cream.

There is a Casa Jimenez restraunt one block from my home. This morning, instead of using Doordash .... I thought I'd just take a walk over to the restaurant, and order take-out. The waitress/hostess took approximately 10 - 12 minutes to acknowledge our presence. I thought perhaps they were very busy....after taking a head count there were only 3 tables occupied in their large dining room. After I requested a few menus....it took another 10 minutes for the hostess to offer me ONE menu to look at, only right up at the cashier's station. By this time we decided to speed things along by ordering one of the specials on the dry erase board posted in their unkempt, dusty wait area. It is a hot summer day. There was no air-conditioning inside of the restaurant. I ordered 2 beef taquito specials, 2 aguas frescas, and a side of guacamole. My friend & I got back home and sat down to eat. There were 4 taquitos in each order there was small pile of half wilted lettuce and about 1 teaspoon of guac, and 1 teaspoon of sour cream. The taquitos were so hard they could not be chewed.Inside of each taquito were a few strands of extremely dry "shredded beef". which was not shredded. One of my 4 taquitos didn't have any meat at all inside. They were topped by the smallest amount of grated Monterey Jack cheese. It looked disgusting .They were also the smallest taquitos I've ever seen served by a restraunt in my entire life. Thank goodness I ordered the side of guacamole, which was more like smashed avocado with no added flavor. I ate it with the free tortilla chips which came with the meal. Otherwise I would not have had a "meal" at all. The aquas frescas were good. I tried to feed a little bit of a taquito to my dog, and he would not eat it....I removed some of the "beef jerky" from one of the taquitos. He refused to eat that as well. My dog eats everything..... NEVER AGAIN. DISGUSTING ! My partner took one bite....ate the wilted lettuce, and did not eat the taquitos..... I tossed mine in the trash. It was completely unedible....even to my dog. This meal cost $45 It wasn't worth $2.00 Alberto's (which isn't that great) has a taquito platter for less than half the price I paid, that's 10 X's better. Now I can see exactly why Casa Jimenez only had diners at 3 tables on a Sunday morning. I would be astonished that anyone who has eaten in this unfriendly environment would ever want to return again.

Carne Asada Burrito. Lots of meat!

Casa Jimenez is a casual Mexican eatery in Hemet. The service was fast & friendly, the restaurant had large comfortable booths, and the food was tasty.

Ham sandwich?? It's literally a thick piece of ham, if you're into that

My GF ordered our dinner from Casa Jimenez via DoorDash last night. She ordered me a cheese quesadilla since I am a vegetarian and it came WITH CHICKEN and was dripping and very soggy. I was unable to eat it since meat had touched it, but my GF took a bite and said that the meat was EXTREMELY salty. Bummer. When she called to inform them about the mistake they said she would have to contact DoorDash because it was their fault, which makes absolutely no sense because DoorDash isn't the one preparing the food... they are. My GF asked if we could receive a replacement instead of a refund because I was very hungry but they denied our request. Sad that they can't take responsibility for their actions. She also ordered a bean and cheese burrito with a side of guacamole(thank goodness after the quesadilla fiasco), a ham sandwich, and tacos. The ham sandwich(not torta) had beans(?) and a THICK piece of ham! My GF said the flavors didn't work well together and she just couldn't seem to get past the weird piece of ham. She also thought the meat from the tacos were overly salty and she was unable to finish more than one of the three she purchased. And for the bean and cheese burrito, the tortilla was dry, hard and cracking. I put guacamole on every bite to add some moisture back to it but although the guacamole was thick and looked good, it was bland and needed salt! Maybe they ran out of salt after adding it all to the meat lol. It also just looked and tasted like mashed avocados with nothing else added to it, so I would pass unless that's your thing, but I need flavor lol. My GF and I had heard such great things about Casa Jimenez(other locations) so we were disappointed that we were left so unsatisfied with our meal and that they refused to take responsibility for their mistakes. We will sadly not recommend or order from them in the future.

As you can see everyone took the food home.

The food is basic and not worth the prices whatsoever. The drinks were expired but on a good note it was clean.

It's Allgood to find local restaurants with great food. I've visited several times and have not been disappointed. The atmosphere is cozy and the fragrance coming from the kitchen fills the air. One of my new favorite spots in town.

When we opened the door i knew it was going to be good because the smell is amazing! We ordered pollo asada tacos, an elote (corn) tamale and side of fries. They served us chips and a creamy bean dip. The chips were warm, crispy and perfectly salted. I could eat the dip with a spoon, so good. When the tacos came we were pleasantly surprised at the generous portions. Chopped grilled chicken, fresh pico de gallo and guacamole ( not avocado spread). The salsas are flavorful and interesting. Big wedges of juicy lime. The elote tamale was sooooo amazing. Rich corn flavor and something else though I can't put my finger on it. I will definitely be picking these up to serve at family BBQs instead of making cornbread. The fries were good but I thought a bit over priced. $9 for a side of fries when everything else was very reasonably priced seemed odd. The staff was very pleasant. The food came quickly. They checked on us several times. Can't wait to bring the rest of the family. Will definitely go back, skip the fries and get an elote tamale. Next time I'm trying the pollo mole.

Our meal was packed full and piping hot even after driving 20 minutes. You could smell the spices from the aroma of the chicken, and it had really great flavor. The meat itself was juicy and tender with the skin holding tons of flavor from the seasoning. Our order lasted two meals, which is a steal for how much it costs! Not to mention their fast and friendly service! We will definitely be back again for their chicken and are all excited to try some other items on their menu next time as well.

Absolutely Delicious & Great Service!…read more We had such a great experience at Tipsy Tacos in Hemet! We ordered the birria pizza, and WOW--it was so good! It was huge, packed with flavor, and absolutely delicious. Every bite was better than the last! The atmosphere was relaxing, and the restaurant was very clean and welcoming. What really stood out to us, though, was the staff. The cashier/waitress and the cook were both extremely friendly, personable, and a pleasure to talk to. While we were eating, we noticed the waitress constantly staying busy--cleaning tables, taking out the trash, and making sure the dining room stayed clean and presentable. She is clearly a hard worker who takes pride in what she does and doesn't cut corners. That kind of work ethic and attention to detail deserves to be recognized! Great food, clean environment, friendly people, and excellent service--what more could you ask for? We will definitely be coming back, and we'll absolutely be recommending Tipsy Tacos to our friends and family! Thank you for such a great experience!

5 STARS -- Tipsy Tacos absolutely surprised me!…read more This was my first time here, and I honestly thought I was just walking into a taco spot. I had no idea they had seafood like this! I ordered the aguachiles, and WOW -- absolutely phenomenal. The seafood tasted incredibly fresh, the flavors were bold and bright, and that green sauce brought everything together perfectly. Fresh, spicy, citrusy, and packed with flavor. Huge shoutout to Gustavo at the register. Since it was my first visit, he took the time to help me figure out what to order, and he absolutely nailed the recommendation. Great customer service makes a difference, especially when the food backs it up like this. Tipsy Tacos definitely earned a new customer today. Five stars without hesitation. I'm already excited to come back and start working my way through the rest of the menu! Fresh seafood, incredible flavor, great service -- this place is a hidden gem and it's very nice inside!
