Always good & friendly service. One of my husband's favorite places to eat in hemet. I love how it's not super greasy like normal Philly cheesesteaks are. Ask for the red pepper relish if you want to add a tang to your sandwich. We also like to order the fries with a side of nacho cheese. I'll have to try the chili fries one of these days.

Eagerly waiting for our Original Cheese Steak sandwiches!

For many years I kept reading the great reviews and though we live only a few miles away, never quite had the time to stop by until a recent Saturday afternoon while we were in Hemet. Big Daddy's is located in a small strip mall next to a car wash. Despite being after the noon lunch hour, parking was still a bit challenging and adjacent street parking is available if you can find a space to park. We ended up parking across the street in a public parking area. We walked in and were warmly greeted by a gentleman manning the counter. We placed our order for: 1- Original Cheesesteak Sandwich $12.50 1-Large Original Cheesesteak Sandwich $23.00 2-Canned Sodas $1.75 each Pre-tip Sub Total: $39.00 We sat a table and waited eagerly. In the meantime, multiple call ahead orders came in to pick up their orders and a few regulars stopped by to eat as well. The small dining area surrounded you with wall covered with all sorts of sport memorabilia and family photos. It was just a real nice, mellow dining vibe. The smells coming from the kitchen flattop behind the counter was making our mouths water with anticipation. In short time, our sandwiches were brought to our table. I was asked if I wanted some pepper sauce, of course, being a true chili head. That first bite into our first real East Coast style cheesesteak sandwiches was so good! The bread roll used is so soft and pillowy with the just the right amount of chew to it. It soaked up the juices from the steak meat and the added pepper sauce. Accompanied by the molten lava like melted white cheese, it was just a bite of sheer bliss. The red pepper sauce was a great addition to the sandwich. At first I thought it might have been a modified Asian Mae Ploy Sauce, but I don't think it was was. It was more of a chopped red pepper relish that I could eat on everything. It doesn't seem too hot at first, but it catches up with you soon. If Big Daddy sold this stuff in a bigger container, I would be buying it! After eating my Large sandwich I was really satisfied and full. It's basically double the size of the regular sandwich. My wife was just as happy with her sandwich too! It was a bit expensive of an expensive lunch for two, being close to $50 once tax and a tip were added, but it was worth the drive to Hemet to experience our first authentic cheesesteak and we will surely return here for another.

I saw this place on another platform.. So I decided to drive down and see if its as good as it looked.. It's a small place tucked away in a strip mall.. The lady inside was very sweet and friendly. The Philly Cheesesteak Was Really Really Good!! The price was a bit high, but it was really good.

A little hole in the wall kind of place! A gem if you will! I had moved to hemet for a rotation and it was hard to find good food spots that weren't the typical franchises. I am so glad I found this place during my lunch. The staff and dining experience felt very welcoming and homey like you came in to eat at your cousin's. Their cheese steak was so good! I got the original cheesesteak and added mushrooms to it. The fluffiness of the bread elevated the sandwich but I do wish they had more meat to cheese ratio, I just prefer the gooieness of it. But other than that, it was an amazing lunch with an amazing atmosphere! Def come try if you're in the area!

Got here and there was no line. The smell and ambience was inviting. Instantly had help upon walking through the door . Friendly smile , good service and food came out fairly quick. Update : The food was amazing! The pepper Philly cheese steak with the chili sauce was the perfect combination. The chili cheese fries was the perfect amount . Personally I'd prefer shredded cheese over the nacho cheese but overall it was still of good quality.

My family is from the east coast where we enjoyed Hoagies and meatball sandwiches. It's been years that we've been able to find a sandwich shop where it made us feel like home. Philly cheesesteak was a wonderful reminder of younger days, the meatball sandwiches ( no photo) gave you a homemade feeling and the sub was one of the best we've had since coming to the west coast. Very small shop with great prices and a warm welcome. Will definitely be our go to sandwich shop.

Awesome joint. An authentic tasting cheesesteak away from Philly. The portion size justifies the price. It's a good balance of meat with the onions and mushrooms. Got the large and only ate half, so enough for another meal. The bread is soft and not super greasy. Definitely deserves another visit.

This review is strictly do to the fact that I wasn't able to order. I walked in, 3 people sitting down only. There's two workers, neither decided to even bother to look up and greet as I enter or even acknowledge I was there. Mind you there have a bell that lets you know someone walked in. 7 minutes go by, I know because I was like man I know they have to know I've been standing here and just ignored me while the were both in the back. Finally the lady tells the young man to go up front. No greeting, just says are you here to pickup. I said no, I'm here to place an order. Again all while no eye contact says cool I'll be with you in a few minutes. What? I've been here for a while before even acknowledged, now I need to wait even longer? Crazy. They clearly didn't care for my business and if you're reading this, take this as a HUGE sign, they don't care for yours either. STAY AWAY, GO TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. YOUVE BEEN WARNED.

I'm pretty selective when it comes to cheesesteaks, but he assured me this was THE spot. I ordered a large West Coast Cheesesteak with provolone and their cheddar cheese sauce. First impressions were positive. The sandwich was filled with an ample amount of fillings. This place definitely does not skimp on the meat. I was informed by the worker that their "The Big One" has even more meat. I'll have to order that next time. After the first bite, I was pleased by the thin yet crispy, juicy, well-seasoned beef. The bread was the perfect complement, soft and soaking up the beef juices for a perfect bite. Despite soaking up the juices, the bread held its form well while also being chewy and airy. The provolone cheese was spread evenly throughout the sandwich, with the fresh mushrooms and jalapeños enhancing the flavors. The biggest surprise of my meal was the cheese sauce. I'm a big texture guy, so I was hesitant at first. A bad cheese sauce makes a sandwich soggy while overpowering the flavor of the meat. This was the opposite. The sauce was velvety smooth, and spread well after each pour. It was thick enough that it held its form and didn't saturate the bread. Very rich, creamy, and flavorful. Talked to the employee and he said they make their cheese sauce in-house. Very cool! This spot lived up to my coworker's hype, and he's easily earned my trust when it comes to food recs. I've had authentic cheesesteaks in Philadelphia, and this place is darn close to the stuff they have out there. I live far away, but I'm willing to drive up to this place next time I crave a cheesesteak roll.

Their tater tots alone are practically a meal. They're crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and well-seasoned without being overly salty. They're great with ketchup, but I like mixing half of them with my homemade lemon pepper seasoning, which takes them to another level. The cheesesteaks are generously portioned and packed with tender, buttery beef smothered in plenty of melted cheese. Every bite is rich, savory, and satisfying, making this the perfect spot whenever you're craving a hearty, cheesy sandwich.

Instead, I spent over $50 on two chicken cheesesteaks, cold fries, two fountain drinks, and donut holes -- and it was an absolute disaster. Let's start with the bread. It tasted like someone washed it, then smashed it and said, "Cook it up!" It was flat, soggy, and had none of the fresh, soft texture you'd expect from a real sandwich bun. The chicken cheesesteaks weren't even close to what was advertised. The cheese was melted terribly -- like a 4th grader's science project -- and the chicken had zero seasoning, with little to none on the bread. This was *not* the flavorful sandwich I was promised. The fries were cold, the donut holes were whatever because they lacked sugar, and the fountain drinks were the only part of this that weren't a letdown. But honestly, $50 for this? I could've gotten better food for half the price. I wanted to give this place a shot, but now I know better. Pardon My Cheesesteak clearly doesn't care about quality, and I'm definitely not coming back. Save your money and find something better.
