I'm from Philadelphia. I'm really partisan on this, but I was really happy that they had that Amaroso rolls from Philadelphia. That's a very authentic selling point. I thought that the meat and these cheesesteaks was kind of sparse, but it had good flavor and reminded me partially of home. It's been years since I've been here but glad to see Philly Frank's still around. Was in the area and stopped by for a late lunch. The philly cheese steak here is still the best out of the different places I've tried. I like the works with provolone and hot peppers. You can pick whiz, provolone, or white American cheese options. Not sure what has changed, but long time customer, their cheesesteak just isn't the same. Same rude customer service, but it was worth it before for the amazing food. I used to order two of them and today couldn't get through one. The roll used to be the best but now the flavor is bland and the meat looks mushy and it's alright but not the same. The cheese fries are great, but at the price for a sandwich and fries, I unfortunately recommend to pass. Cute mom and pop shop in a strip mall right off the freeway. I've heard so many good things and was craving a Philly cheesesteak gaffer a long drive back from the OC. The food is pretty good it's just small for the price. I ordered the works and it was $17 out the door for a sandwich that I was still hungry after eating. For $17 you could get a giant sandwich at Jersey mikes. But I get it Philly cheesesteaks are usually more expensive. Great sandwich and burger. I got a turkey hoagie the first time. Which was delicious, I love the thin onions on my hoagie. The second time I got a burger with extra toppings! Really good burger, but I highly recommend you eat the burger there instead of taking it home because it will get soggy. It's right next to the grocery outlet so after you shop you can go eat there.
