This place is a hidden gem!!! If you love crepes this is the place to go!!! Service was outstanding and friendly

Absolutely loved this place! Decided to try this place with my best friend for brunch, and I'm so glad we did because we did not walk out disappointed. Once you step inside, it's very clean and quiet. Lots of seating for dining in and just a very homey place. I was feeling breakfast food, so I ordered the Kitchen Sink Crepe because I was craving hash browns; while my best friend ordered the Bacon & Egg Crepe. We had the chance to meet the owner of the restaurant and he was the absolute sweetest to chat with! Our order came out very quickly, like maybe about 5-8 minutes. The Kitchen Sink was very yummy and flavorful! I loved the chipotle drizzle on top and the way he caramelized the onions and mushrooms, along with crisping the hash browns really nicely was the cherry on top. Some pieces of my hash browns were a little bit burnt but it wasn't a huge deal considering I like my potatoes really crispy. I was confused because I believe he gave me avocados in my order but I didn't remember getting any for my crepe; but I absolutely loved it with my order so it's definitely something that I would do again! My best friend also loved her crepe! We pretty much ate the plate clean. We definitely want to come back more often to try their dessert crepes next! The crepes are pretty good and well filled and topped with your chosen toppings. Everything is decent but it is far from an exceptional crepe. They are a bit to thin and tend to stick to the plates like glue. The prices seem standard, $10-14 for crepes and $5-7 for drinks. Overall, not disappointed but not thrilled. read more

I thought this place was adorable. I was at the vet next door and had time to kill and was hungry. Way better choice than the Taco Bell across the parking lot. From the moment I entered they were attentive, super nice and helpful when it came to choosing my order since I had never been there before. So I went all in and ordered the kitchen sink. It was delicious, bacon was crispy the way I like it. The eggs were light and fluffy, sauce was yummy. It was the perfect crepe and a great alternative to the heavy breads a restaurant breakfast would have. The mango ice tea was really good too. Not to sweet. It was so good that I ordered the mixed berries to take home to share for a later desert. I definitely will be back to try some of the other amazing options. I encourage you to try it. read more

Ventured to San Marcos today and discovered this hidden gem. After leaving another restaurant that didn't have AC (torture for a summer day inland), we came to this oasis. Seemed like a deserted island at first; there were no cars in the parking lot, and no customers inside. However, the gentleman working here was very friendly, and made us feel very welcomed. Came upon this spot on a craving with my gurl and let me tell you no one in the place was disappointed! The perfect blend of flavors was unmatched, passion fruit tea is really yummy , perfectly made hash browns , I ordered the southwest crepe and the meat was so tender the bacon was so yummy and the sauce on top SO GOOD. This review is solely based on first impressions. We did not to stay and eat here for the following reasons: We walked in and looked at the menu. When we walked up to the counter, we noticed the kitchen floors were really dirty and had food all over them. The counters had random items scattered on them and it was just not a tidy restaurant. My wife was craving crepes on July 4th. Concerned that the place would be closed she called first. The guy who answered said that they were opened until 4pm. We got there at 2:30pm. The door was locked and not a single person in sight. Like I said in my last review, the food is decent, it's just the customer service portion that needs improvements. The crepes are so delicious, and the coffee is so good! However I plan my visits here when I have no other plans due to the very slow service. I had to walk out on one of my visits because I stood in line for over 20-25 minutes waiting for staff to take my order, even after ringing the bell several times (by different customers and in a respectful manner). We could hear someone in the kitchen, and the noise level was low enough that they would've heard the bell, but no one came out to communicate with the waiting group. Delicious food and great service. I ordered a (custom) strawberry crepe and their iced coffee and both were delicious. If you don't like your coffee too sweet I'd definitely let them know though! Why a custom-made crepe (thank you so much for accommodating me by the way!)? Well, I didn't particularly like any of the sweet options available, not because they didn't look delicious too, but because I wanted a simpler/plainer crepe. I just love the taste of the crepe itself without too many ingredients overpowering it, and honestly this was PERFECT!! Been in the area for a bit now and surprised I haven't come across this place before! Truly delicious crepes and I will be adding Wholly Crepe to my local favorites. And tons of Nutella...maybe a little too much for me, but kids enjoyed it. The second time, we came by for breakfast. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and nice. I really appreciated the service. I was looking for some milk for the kids, but they didn't have any in the mini fridge to purchase. She was super awesome and was able to get some milk for the kids, which was so greatly appreciated. We tried the banana, strawberry, and Nutella. Was excited to try this place but came on a Sunday and there was one guy running place and it was busy. My egg and bacon crepe was hard to chew as the bacon was not diced up and in half's and way overcooked, the crepe was too crunchy also and my banana crepe the banana was cut in large pieces and not sliced right and hardly any Carmel and too crispy also. The worst part was when we paid for the meal. He added over a five dollar tip on top of the price and didn't even ask us if he could do that. We always tip but it's very rude to add it to your bill automatically over 20%. I asked him about it and he said the machine did that and did not offer a refund. read more

Cheddar jack is NOT something we put in our crepes. The Crepe itself wasn't even good. It didn't have flavor , and the texture was not that of a savory crepe. You should be using Swiss cheese, that's French. The chipotle sauce was disgusting. It's salty and all American and not not at all French. The onions and tomatoes in the crepe , not a thing. Please do some research on true French crepes. The 4% credit charge and push towards cash ... audit flag!! As a CPA I don't love this. Don't charge more than 2% as that's what people get on cash back . That's some BS. You went your guests to not see that as a first impression. Kill the food portion and you won't be needing to do this as a desperate business tactic. read more
