So thankful we were close by today. What an awesome place for Mangonadas and all desserts. So full Of flavor and FRUITS! Great prices for great serving sizes! Worth the stop especially with the customer service. My little mexi-pina (Mexican Filipina) daughter loved it!

Wonderful spot for sweet delights in San Marcos. Located in an unassuming retail space next to a residential area is the bright, vibrant, and spacious Disfruta. The menu is vast and the ice cream selection looked fantastic. I opted for frescas con crema. Made on the spot with care. A small ran about $7 but it was delicious - the strawberries were sweet and the cream rounded out the flavor + mouthfeel perfectly. Friendly service as well -- yum.

Accessibility: I am not sure if they have disabled parking outside... they do have flat sidewalk that goes up to the entrance, and the double pull doors were propped open for customers to enter today and most days. The employees speak Spanish and English. There is only seating inside (wheelchair accessible with moveable chairs). Experience: wow so amazing! I think I have found another favorite place! I ordered a Fresa con Crema and it was delicious! It was more liquidy than other places I've been, but still the same delicious taste. For a medium size it cost $8.75. We also ordered one horchata ($4), and one Crepe ($7-$9). My girlfriend is from México, born and raised, and she said the horchata was the closest to horchata from México she has tasted yet in the United States.

Awesome find. We were waiting for a movie and looking for an ice cream place open on Christmas. We lucked out. They had so many flavors and choices. The kids were on top of the world. My one daughter ordered a banana split. Delicious!! Very fair prices and pleasant owners and managers.

Love it here, they have everything!! I visited awhile ago and got a chamango... delicious. I visited again and got the Sandia Loca and tostiesquite. Presentation was perfect, it was delicious and loved everything. It's so hard to choose what to get because there's so many options. Maybe next time I'll try their tortas, smoothies or chicharron preparado. All looks great TBH I recommend going here. ++++ also the ladies that work here are SO friendly and nice!!!

Just discovered this hidden gem and am already excited to come back! Menu was overwhelming at first, but all items are genius concoctions that I am determined to try. I ordered the pepahuates, which was cucumber, peanuts, and chamoy. Other items include ice cream, chips, and those crazy insane spicy fruit baskets! I know I would eat a whole basket by myself lol The inside was spacious and clean, parking was atrocious. We had to park in the neighboring street and walk 5 minutes.

Chamango - A nice and mildly spicy treat...

It's not often I go someplace that just completely catches me off guard. I mean, there's ice cream shops, frozen yogurt spots, places you can get cupcakes and the like; but, I've never been anywhere that goes as far and wide as Disfruta does to make some outrageously inventive treats. When you walk in the front door, the walls are plastered with pictures of the insane concoctions available to nosh on. Cases of fresh ice cream (and another case of Thrifty brand as well) of vibrant color and sweetly intense flavor wait by open fridges of very plump and gorgeous fruit (like, Disfruta got the first, second, and third picks off the morning truck) to mix together, pile high, and then squirt a pint or two of sauce and whipped cream across the top before serving. My love shared a parfait style treat with our son. It had granola, strawberries, berries, and enough cream to make it sugary and thick to satisfy both of their sweet teeth. I had a Chamango, consisting of thick slices of chewy mango, strawberry sherbet, strawberry sauce, and a chili powder stick. It was everything I enjoyed, a cool start with a nice chew to the sweet fruit, followed by a building tamarind heat from the powder that required another bite to quench, restarting the whole wonderful cycle. All in all, very tasty way to end our lunch. And with so many things to try on the menu, I can easily see us coming back to share something else, especially one of the craved out watermelons stuffed with a mound of other fruit and sauce.

My favorite spot for tostilocos! Really big portion for $6 + 50¢ in tax. They always hook me up here.

Bold dessert options found here. After eating a Mexican Dinner we decided to seek out some Mexican dessert. Located in a nice shopping block off Mission, we entered the clean Disfruta. This was my second trip to a place like this, so I'm still pretty inexperienced at this whole process. My kids were easy, they all wanted the neon colored Cotton Candy Ice Cream. Me, well I was totally indecisive..Figuring out how to correctly pronounce some of the menu items was interesting, trying to figure out dessert ingredients was a complete mystery in some cases. I chose Fresas con Crema because it sounded pretty straightforward. The guy asked me if I wanted to include everything, and not evening knowing exactly what "everything" meant I said Sí... What "everything" was is still a partial mystery. There was shredded coconut, raisins, something like Muesli, something that tasted either like sour cream or cottage cheese. The taste was so rich, and crunchy.. This was really really good. As for the cotton candy, that was very good too. In fact a week later I tasted cotton candy from Cold Stone and the Disfruta version was soo much tastier. - Pretty affordable.
