Wow!!!! The food here is insanely delicious. It's a tiny little place in a strip mall in the middle of Hemet but don't let any of that fool you. This is big-time flavor and delicious food on next level status! I don't eat beef, so I got the chicken cheesesteak and it did not disappoint at all! So glad i came to check this spot out during my lunch. I was so hungry and only had about 20 mins to grab food. Let's start with the service, amazing people working there! They were so sweet and helpful. The food came out so quickly too! I was in and out, with QUALITY food. I loved the peppers that my cheesesteak submarine came with. To each its own but this was a no for me unfortunately. I've had many Philly cheesesteak and this was not good or "authentic". It had good reviews which confused me as it was not that tasty, and sometimes I feel your taste is only as good as what you've experienced. It was extremely hot (while that can be a good thing) but it was almost as if they used the microwave to heat up the meat because the bun was a bit hard and didn't take on the heat of the meat. But give it a try and try it for yourself. My friend ordered the burger and it was just a basic bland taste but wasn't toasted just seem to be straight out the plastic. Happy eating. Ok everyone, I went to Big Daddy's for the first time today. I ordered the classic Philly steak sandwich. It was roughly 12.50(well worth it) plus I gave a tip. It was worth every penny. This sandwich was absolute no exaggeration. Remember to ask for the chilies, it's worth buying an extra because they provide one. Makes sense because it's some homemade fire chilis to add to the sandwich. I wish I'd purchased two, that's how much I enjoyed it. It's a small spot with limited seating which is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. My husband and I saw this place while we were driving and decided to stop in. I'm so glad we did! He got the traditional cheesesteak and I got a chicken cheesesteak. My wife found this spot using the Yelp search. Big Daddy's turned out to be more than just a good find, as this is one hidden gem that we have overlooked for some time. First off, the owner, Big Daddy (going out on a limb and assuming that's his name), is just an all around awesome dude. I called in an order about 30 minutes before closing and because I ran into some traffic I got to the store a few minutes after 7PM. Big Daddy didn't mind at all and even left making my cheese fries until I showed up so they would be fresh. Seeing as this was my first visit, I wanted to get something that I could compare to other cheesesteak shops in So Cal so I went for the pepper cheesesteak and cheese fries. I basically killed my entire meal in about 6.5 minutes and not because the meal was small. The cheesesteak is about 10" long and was packed with a whole mess of sloppy, cheesy beef and sweet peppers. The fries were still crispy after the 20 minute drive home and had a decent amount of cheese sauce covering them. Sorry I didn't get any pictures as the smell overtook my sense of logic and reason and I erroneously figured I'd be able get pictures after I ate. I will be visiting Big Daddy to get my cheesesteak fix once again and hopefully remember to get some detailed pictures next time. See you soon Big Daddy! read more

I was a little worried that it was going to be packed because I tried to call ahead but couldn't get through. When I got ro the restaurant they had markings on the floor to indicate safe social distancing and had hand sanitizer right by the door. They also had 3 tables to the right side for Doordash, Grubhub, and Pick Up orders. I ordered my usual which is their Original Philly Cheesesteak (it comes with grilled onions) and some cheese fries because I had a craving and my tummy is sooooo happy!! The bread they use is so soft and soaks up the juices from the meat and onion. It's fluffy texture is perfect with the meat, cheese, and onion heaven waiting for you. The cheese is perfect because it's not all over the place, it's used almost like a condiment the way it fuses your sandwich together for an exceptional flavor experience. So you must try this place, read what everyone is telling on the flavoring as they are spot on. We had a few number 1's and the meat was very tinder and not fatty (that's how I judge a spot on the quality of ingredients), the bun is perfect for the meat and doesn't get soppy and is not to hard. Onto that red stuff; it's great; tangy and not spicy and cuts through the savory meat flavor. The portion sizes are on point and you won't walk away hungry.
