While the pizza is just average, it is the service that is a disaster. My most recent visit was at the drive-up window (initially anyway). After pulling up to the window and making eye contact with one of the three female employees gathered around the computer admiring photos on Facebook, I had assumed our single slices of pizza (or at least a chance to order) would be a seconds away...yet after waiting and watching the three "hard working" Facebookers for about three minutes I decided to go inside. Delivery service and food review only. They delivered on time. The driver was more friendly than I personally prefer, I think he needs some professionalism classes. Keep it short and sweet when delivering to a business. I have better things to do than to shoot the breeze with you, like eat the hot pizza you delivered before it gets cold..., set up the lunch for everyone and or get back to my job. The pizzas were freaking awesome. The ingredients were fresh, cooked perfectly and the flavor was perfect. The only thing missing was extra sauce. I personally like my pizza to be heavy on the sauce. We ordered the extra large specialty pizzas, the supreme, meatsa, and veggie. I didn't try the veggie but my coworker loved it. I'm not a huge crust fan but this was good. I will definitely order from them again, even if the delivery driver was overly friendly. read more

First time in my life ordering pizza for delivery. My day was rough, on my way to Walla Walla my car broke down, anyways after dealing with everything I called these guys up at 9:15 on a Sunday night, they were still open! And it was so easy to order, just gave them my address and order and they said it'll be there in 40min, so convenient! They were here in 30min and my god hot food was a sight for sore eyes (after being deserted most of the day) and yeah, it certainly was not the best pizza I've ever had but it tasted so good! Best Garlic White sauce ever! First off, always order in the "large" pizza size, If possible. It has the best pricing options. Pizzas are good, a bit on the greasy side, not as greasy as Pizza Hut, but still greasy. Basic large pizzas run around $10 take out with a few toppings. Their gourmet pizzas run close to $18, but are well worth the money. Bread sticks are for the most part good. Once in a wile you will get a bag that isn't that great, but it's just once in a wile. They have other I teams that are good. Calzones, salads, even subs. In reality, Big Cheese Pizza is a solid 3 out of 5 stars, afordible, tasty, and good hours. I gave them an extra star, just because that garlic white sauce is sooooo good. Also, every month they have a customer day where pizzas are super cheap. I never go to this because the line is out the door. I like my pizza full price with no line. read more

Not the healthy it's bit if you looking for a special meal that helps the community Big Cheese is it. Been visiting Walla Walla for 4 days now and have ate at Big Cheese twice. All I can say is I really really wish we had one of your shops where I live in Idaho Falls, ID. It'd be a huge hit! Awesome prices, and the Greek pizza and the Greek sub are to die for and your stuffed cheese bread is some of the best I've ever had. Will definitely be visiting and returning for more as soon as we can! read more

For some reason my husband seems to like this place. I've always thought their pizza was one of the worst. Employees tend to be rude. Also seems like every time I go to pick up my pizza I overhear of someone's order being lost. Must be a regular thing. Hasn't happened to me yet. But we decided to try their taco pizza. I have never had it there before. First off, there wasn't even any ground beef on it. Their description says it comes with it. How does one miss the main key ingredient of a taco pizza. The pizza was soggy and way too much beans. $20 for a pizza with nothing but beans and cheese and maybe 4 olives and onions. Should have gone to Taco Bell and gotten a taco pizza. Even my husband agreed on this one. Also we normally order the big sticks which quality is hit and miss with them. This time decided to order the cheese ones. Don't know if this was just one of those miss days like we get with the regular ones, but they did not taste fresh. They tasted like they were made the day before. They went straight in the trash. Only good thing about this visit was my husband was disappointed as well and now he finally says he won't eat there again. Thank god! Can get a pizza at Dominoes for half the price and at least they make it when you order it. I know Big Cheese has always had a reputation for making their pepperoni and cheese pizzas ahead of time (yuk). I just don't get how they always seem to be busy. "Best Pizza in the West" is a pretty big claim. I don't think I'd go that far, but it was definitely above average. Just so you know, I am definitely *not* a fan of "New York" style thin-crust pizza. I prefer "Chicago-style" deep-dish pizza (although what they serve at Giordano's in Chicago is more of a gooey mess than a pizza). But back to Big Cheese. I ordered a large pizza with Canadian bacon and pineapple. The toppings were, well, pretty much the same as everywhere else. The cheese was adequate. The crust was a bit dense, but it had some nice crunchy spots, and was satisfyingly thick, about 1/2 inch. Also, the toppings were close to the edge. There wasn't the usual thick ring of dough around the edge, which meant that there weren't "pizza bones" left over. The other highlight was the sauce. I won't say it rocked my world, but it did have a bit more flavor than what I've eaten from, say, Pizza Hit, Domino's, Little Caesar's, and the like. My large (14") two-topping pizza was less than $10 (they were running a special on large pizzas), so I'll be eating there again. read more

My family got a large cheese pizza (we like simple stuff), and we were pleasantly surprised! It's always hard to say if you're going to like a pizza place, and this one did not disappoint! The cheese and sauce ratio was about perfect, and the cheese was pretty flavorful. The crust wasn't cracker-like at all, which was a nice change from a lot of the pizza places you get in the Columbia Basin area. It wasn't overly doughy or chewy or too thin, but just right. My salad was pretty much just a simple bowl of iceberg lettuce and a few vegetables thrown in, but it was still quite tasty with the addition of a jalapeno pepper. I'll be back! read more

Big Cheese is a good go to pizza joint for those who want something in a pinch to bring home when you don't have time to cook dinner (just be sure to call your order in 15 minutes before pick-up or you'll find yourself sitting in their lobby twiddling your thumbs for what seems like eternity). It's not gourmet but it's pretty tasty...and hey, the price is nice. Check out their last Wednesday of the month deal and get a large pizza for under 5 bucks. You can't even buy a meal from McDonalds for that price. My family really likes the stuffed crust option. My personal favorite is the California White, but I wish they made it in a smaller size since I'm the only one in my family that really loves it. The negative: I live about 12 miles away from their store on the east side of Walla Walla, and when asked if they would deliver to my home they said it was too far away. However, it's really no further than delivering to College Place which I know they do. read more

On top of great pizza, every tuesday you can get two pizza subs or "calzones" for $5. A pizza sub is basically a medium pizza of your choice folded in half on top of itself. They are awesome and you can't beat the price. Also on the last wednesday of every month is customer appreciation day. This means you can buy a large one topping pizza for $5. Having a Drive-Thru offers easy pick-up and order. Big Cheese Pizza is my favorite place to go when i am craving pizza, not only for the great prices but also for the great taste. So if your looking for a fast, cheap, and easy place to get pizza look no further than Big Cheese. read more

I had the rudest customer service I've ever experienced. I was pressed for time so I called ahead and asked if their salads were pre-made or if they made them once you order. The guy on the phone was rude and told me they just make them when you come in. So I thought ok, I'll run in grab a pizza since it was "customer appreciation day" and they already have pizzas ready. I ordered a family size chicken ceaser salad and a medium pep pizza. The girl that was taking orders and cashing people out says to me, "I'll make your salad as soon as I take the next order". She takes the next order and then another one. Then looks at me and asks what it was I was waiting for again. There was 10 other employees there that she could have told to throw this salad together. I tell her my chicken ceaser salad. She takes another order and then asks me if the salad was a individual one. I said, "no I ordered the family size, if that's not what you charged me for then just give me a refund because I can't wait any longer". I had already been waiting ten minutes for a salad that literally took 1 minute to throw together. It was stale lettuce, canned chicken, and 2 packets of Hidden Valley ceaser dressing. As I was telling the front ladies how this had now made me late as I was pressed for time, a young female worker from behind says, "tell him to chill out". I wasn't raising my voice, I was a little agitated. She had no right to give me, the "customer", on "customer appreciation day", attitude. Then I over hear her say "I'm about tired of this FN place". Really? Go find a different job if you can't handle working on one of their busy days. This place will never get another penny out of my pocket & I have given them plenty of business as it is an establishment in my neighborhood. read more
