I've been coming here about once a week for the past few years. I get here at 7:45-7:50, order immedietly. Then tip $8-10 on my $25 order. I always apologize for coming in so close to closing, and every time the employees have said it's totally cool and that they accept orders all the way up until 8 pm. 9 times out of 10 I am not the last customer to order. And 8 times out of 10 I've paid and left by 8pm. Today I got here at 7:48 exactly. There were 4-5 cars here and a handful of people at one of the picnic tables eating. I pulled up and started doing some work on my phone waiting to give my order. It was around 8:05 when I realized how long it had been. There were still some cars here so I assumed they were catching up. Well now it is 8:19 and they turned the lights out. The guys inside are looking down trying to avoid eye contact. So bizarre. Why couldn't they have come over and said that it was too late? Or literally anything. I'm parked in the second stall from the front. I very rarely write reviews. When I do it's to alert others to something I wish I had known before I came. Something that woukd have made me go there or stopped me from coming here. This is obviously the latter. If I had a cranky child, parent or wife with me, or needed to eat before a show or movie or something it would have ruined my night and possibly year (slightly exaggerated but you get the point). I won't be back. This wasn't a misunderstanding or slightly off food or a minor menu discrepancy. This was blatantly rude and very very easily avoided. It's 8:26 and I'm finishing up this review and about to head to Ice Berg. The employees are inside stil and avoiding eye contact. It's too bad because I did like this place but I won't be back and I'll add some humor to this story and make it a short story that I'll tell others about when this place comes up in conversation. It's now 8:32. I've been here 44 minutes and they're obviously closed and nobody has said a word to me. If it was my first time here I would have left at 8:00 and not had a bad thing to say at all ! I understand not serving 12 mins to close. Even at a fast food place. But when me and thousands of others have done this for years it's pretty weird. read more

Ordered takeout from here. Food was quick and on time. Burgers and chicken strips were really delicious. Pastrami sandwich was so so but the bread was fantastic and it was perfectly cooked. Tots were a little dry. Fries were amazing. Would definitely recommend if youre in the mood for a burger and want quick and local. read more

The wait staff are always super friendly and helpful to make recommendations or accommodate special ingredient requests when possible. I also prefer the fries here over Iceburg. I also highly recommend their milkshakes here. Man, they are super delicious! On top of that, they have so many flavor options to choose from so you can be sure there's likely a flavor to meet your palette's preference. read more

A different drive in restaurant. You sit in your comfy car and a guy comes to your car to take your order. Not many places you can get a scotch and soda. So that was fun. And their blackberry milkshake was so thick and yummy. So we both ordered burgers. I had a lettuce wrapped and hubby had a double burger. With fries. The fries were super good. The burger was ok. Mine had lettuce on both sides of it but when I tried to wrap It up it was so hot I couldn't hold it. So I just ate it w a knife and fork. The tomatoes and onions were good and the jalapeños were plentiful which was amazing. The cheese was good. The burger itself was kinda over cooked? I couldn't really tell what was up with the meat but I'm Thinking it was just a little dry and overcooked. It was a fun new place to try. I'm We usually go to icebergs when in Walla Walla, but the line was so long there. Very nice alternative. We'll be back! read more

Old-fashioned drive-in where you eat in the car or at the picnic tables. The waiter comes out to your car. I was in the mood for a burger and a shake and this place hit the spot. I ordered my burger without onion (not a fan of raw onion), but it was on an onion roll, so it still had some of that flavor. I ordered the tator tots, and they were a little well done, but tasty. There were a lot of shake options, so it was hard to choose. I opted for the Raspberry shake and it was so good. I wonder if they mix shake flavors, because I thought a chocolate coconut shake might be good? Next time I'll ask. read more

Placed my first order to go and it was ready as promised in ten minutes. Huge, juicy delicious burger, tasty onion rings that were clearly made on site, not just moved from freezer to fryer, and Chicken Gizzards! Friendly service as well. A pleasant surprise. SLOW EDDY'S!!! Horrible service-- Waiter was snarky, lazy, unprofessional. Rude, rude, RUDE!! Food was fine, not at all worth it. Lazy teenage waiter in a dirty white T-shirt ignored me for 45 minutes, just moseying around while I waited; he then would not make eye contact and treated me TERRIBLY! I told him "have a good day" with a smile, and he rudely turned his back and walked away, showing no respect at all for his customers. He would not look a real man in the eye. The food brought to the people who'd been waiting when we arrived looked good. The staff looked super busy, considering they were taking orders from people who showed up AFTER we did. They didn't look our way once. We figured they mustve had plenty of customers already, or prioritize online orders and no signage saying that, so we just left. We showed up starving and with lots of money burning holes in our pockets but no dice. Maybe next time? I don't know. Reese's milkshake was super good. Finally a place that puts enough of the flavor ingredient to taste. Be ready to eat with a spoon- which is a good thing. The burger had plenty of lettuce tomato and onion. It beats other fast food places by a landslide. Sure you can get a cheaper burger off the value menu someplace but when you want a real burger you come to Fast Eddy's. Quick service, yummy burgers, delicious tots. We got ours to-go! I was able to ask for mine without a bun and in a bowl of lettuce instead. The staff accommodated my request, no problem! Have gone there 2 times already and still haven't had their food...why...well the service is below average. Have been ignored 2 times by servers that ignored us completely. This last time we pulled in before 3 other cars, made eye contact and the girl basically gave us a dirty look and helped the others first, then she went inside without even acknowledging us. I don't really understand the high reviews Fast Eddy's has gotten so far, so I'll take a hot minute to justify this rating. I should probably start off by saying that among my friends we have a running joke about how this place is only fast at giving us one thing... food poisoning. I hate to say this, but everyone I know who orders a fish-related dish here is out the next day because they feel sick. I'm speaking from experience; if you want to miss work, order the deep fried salmon. It tastes good, but just keep in mind what you've signed up for. My other biggest complaint is the slow service. I've been late to a couple of events now solely because I had to wait a long amount of time for my food. I'd find this more excusable if the word "Fast" wasn't in the name. They should consider a rebrand at some point. On a higher note, the staff seems nice enough and I like the ambiance and seclusion that comes with sitting in your car. I've mentioned it in other reviews that I'm someone that prefers a less intrusive atmosphere, so I understand the appeal. Wasps can sometimes be a problem in the warmer seasons. With that in mind, I find the other factors to be too inexcusable for me to change the rating. I usually only go to Fast Eddy's when I'm feeling particularly depressed, which is never a good sign. If I go back and these grievances have been mended, I'll be more than happy to change the rating. read more

I really used to love fast Eddy's but over the past year or so it's just gotten worse and worse each time. Maybe it's personal and the cook just gets pissed if you want something different like ketchup versus the fry sauce they put on the burger or Cheddar instead of fake cheese slices. Also if you ask for extra ketchup to dip your fries in just assume it won't be in the bag. Sucks to get home to see there's no ketchup or cheese on your burger. But don't worry they put enough onions on there to choke a horse. I mean yeah I have ketchup and cheese in my fridge that I can usually fix the mess ups (which are constant) but now they seemed to have changed their burgers. They used to be rather thick like a home made burger with good seasonings but not any more they are now my guess a bulk cheap Cisco burger like the kind you eat in a school cafeteria except the lunch ladies at least salted them. One time I asked for a cheeseburger with ketchup instead of sauce and got home to honest to God nothing more than ketchup and a patty and when I called they basically told me to just deal with it. For as much as they charge for their burgers I just expect way better service and attention to orders. Should have gone to misses crabs across the way their parking lot is always packed. This was my anniversary dinner. My husband and I don't do expensive restaurants. We had taken a drive through south eastern Washington to celebrate the day and we ended up in Walla Walla. After driving around Walla Walla to find somewhere local to eat, we decided upon Fast Eddys. I could not believe how much food we got. We ordered the cheese fries and we got an entire large to go container filled with hot, melty fries. They had a wonderful seasoning on them, too. My chicken sandwich, the chicken cordon bleu was good and included a whole really grilled chicken breast. My only complaint was they should warn you that it comes on an onion roll as I am not a fan of onions and some people have allergies. My husband had a BLT. It was massive! He was eager to try the Rueben next time. Overall, food came out quick and hot and service was friendly. We will definitely stop by again if we go that way. read more

Definition of don't judge a book by its cover!! They also don't call it "Fast Eddy's" for no reason. Our food was out in a matter of 10 minutes it felt like. My husband ordered the bacon burger, it came on an onion bun, had crispy lettuce, fresh juicy tomato, and crispy onion. It was thick and delicious! My daughter got chicken strips, tater tots and the potato salad. Nothing crazy, but the portion size was well worth the price. Which I'll add are crazy reasonable! I ordered the Reuben sand which. I'm a self proclaimed Reuben connoisseur and have quite high standards! When I saw it on the menu I didn't think twice but to order it. I didn't have high expectations from a drive in Reuben... but I was so wrong! It was loaded with the most tasty and moist corned beef, cheese was on point, the sauerkraut was crisp and flavorful. But the most important part.... the bread was NOT soggy!!! My biggest pet peeve with Reuben's is soggy bread. I was not disappointed at all! Sometimes I want to eat in my pickup with whoever I'm with and no one else, Fast Eddy's is pretty fast and tasty for fast food. Large portions and good prices and I can throw fries to my dog in the back of the truck. Try doing that at other restaurants. read more
