Erin and Jonnelle have hit a home run taking over Walla Walla Sun Shop at 25 Boyer Ave near downtown and the Whitman College campus, a perfect place to enjoy your soup and sandwiches. All super fresh and quality ingredients put together the way you like your sandwich to be made, to order! The soups and chili are delicious and served in three sizes. I enjoyed my favorite the Turkey, Ham, Swiss with lettuce and tomato and avocado sprinkled with real broken bacon bits and just Mayo and yellow mustard on a fresh round croissant!! Yummy Medium cup of chicken tortilla soup with crunchy crackers! Boom As Good As It Gets. Erin has 24 years in the business at the place on Issiac and Clinton. She most definitely has what it takes to succeed in this business! Stop in and welcome them and enjoy a nice lunch or order to go. Comfortable shaded table seating on site lots of parking and near to everything downtown.

Half of a cheese sub. My favorite!

Great sandwich, salads, and soups! I get soups during the winter, salads specials during the summer. Great local business to go to.

Had some takeout. Sandwiches for 15. All were great. Don't settle for Subway when you can get a sandwich here

Everything has a bleachy aftertaste and there seems to be racist vibes. Also, the soups taste metal-ish - to me at least.

Great sandwich and friendly service. Well worth your dollar. The place is very clean and comfortable to sit and eat.

Soup tasted canned and the subs had a bleach-y taste to them I don't recommend at all and you're better off going to Subway or something.

My favorite sub shop. Big subs. Good price. If I'm in town this is where I always eat.

Simply put...the best sub shop in Washington. All meats hand sliced for each sandwich. Great hometown service.

The 1st time I went, not long after I moved here, I got a burger at lunch time. I remember thinking it was meh. The meat was dry and the bun was stale. That's about all I remember. 2nd time, I got their version of Eggs Benedict. The eggs were overcooked (jammy-to-dry yolks) and the cheese sauce was terrible. 3rd time was the salmon filet, which was significantly undercooked in the middle. 4th time, I got the Country Biscuit Breakfast: gravy was terribly salty and the scrambled eggs were rubber. Tonight, it was the corned beef hash with two poached eggs and a Belgian waffle: the hash was more green pepper than meat or potatoes, the "poached" eggs were white hockey pucks with completely solid yolks and the Belgian waffle was a fluffy waffle-shaped pancake, no crispness on the outside at all. The waitstaff are fantastic and extremely nice. The setting is ... dated, but serviceable. The place is still better than the truly awful Denny's in town. I really hate ripping the place because the folks are so nice. I guess I'll sum it up this way: I've never had a truly bad meal at Clarette's, but I've never had a truly good meal there, either.
