This is the forth year that we spent Christmas in this establishment. It could be the last. This year the lasagna was the consistency of glue. I get sick just thinking about it .What happened? Was it frozen ? Can't believe they would serve this , And call it Italian. Shame Shame read more

Terrible quality control at this restaurant. It was very busy due to 50% off entire menu all day. The hostess gave our table to another couple and when we inquired her response was "how am I supposed to know who you are?" Well, isn't that your job? The maitre d was also not helpful either and when we mentioned our situation to the server her response was " you shouldn't have stayed at the restaurant if you weren't happy". Not one apology. The cold salads were served on warm plates. The pasta was sticky and bland. The staff were slamming utensils and plates on the service area making the poor woman seated next to it jump in her seat each time. This restaurant has been here for many years and I have to say it was a total disappointment all around. I don't think it was just a bad night. The staff clearly was not trained properly. Not what you expect when dining on 5th Ave. read more

We have enjoyed dining at Bice for several years, but lately have found the food to be mediocre. The early dining special of 50% off of the entire menu before 5:30 p.m. is a wonderful value. Last evening four of us dined there and nobody really was wowed by the food. Service was really good though. I ordered its special veal milanesa on the bone, parmigiana style. This dish is advertised as the house specialty. The veal was pounded thin and served bone in, but the bone on my dish was oddly detached from the meat. The meat did not have a fresh taste and the marinara sauce did it no favors. It is a large portion and I slogged through about half of it and did not want to take the rest home. My minestrone soup was flavorless and thin. My friend thought his osso buco entree was ok and his wife said her branzino lacked flavor. One thing I like about Bice is the relative ease in making reservations during the season while more popular and frankly better Italian restaurants on 5th like Pazzo and Molto are sold out. But the food at these two places far outshines Bice. Bice is inconsistent. Sometimes we really have a great dinner and other times like last night we were underwhelmed. Hopefully it will get its act together and up its game where it belongs. read more

Came here for outdoor dining. They have a very nice set up and everyone is kept with proper distance. The waiter was wearing a mask and was very polite. For lunch they have everything half off and at half off it is totally worth coming here! I got a peach Bellini which was also half off and was poured generously. The lasagna was absolutely delicious-- my dad was jealous and wish he got it. He had the bolognese. He liked the sauce but found the homemade pasta a little dry. My mom has the lobster pasta. It was a bit "fishy" for my personal taste. I did not like it. Overall I recommend coming for lunch at half off it is worth it if you are in the area! read more

I've eaten at Bice a number of times in the eight years I've lived in Naples, but NEVER AGAIN. We had reservations for a larger group, but it was canceled because we did not answer when they called us the same day -- from an unknown number. Instead of being polite, the hostess was IMMEDIATELY AGGRESSIVE and blaming us for the cancellation. When we tried to explain our side, her response was "What makes you so special?" Luckily, there are 100 other Italian restaurants on 5th Ave that were happy to seat us. I've had other problems with reservations before at other restaurants, but never demeaned like Bice's hostess and manager. I'll be spreading this story far and wide with our Naples neighbors and friends. read more

Atmosphere was fantastic Dining room was crowded and our group had no issues hearing our conversation! Food was delicious So many choices especially for a holiday! Service was good but he did try to upsell Will definitely go back read more

Bice is the most premier Italian restaurant in Naples Florida. Their Ossobuco and Saffron Risotto is absolutely the best I have ever eaten! Granted, there is not one dish on the menu that is bad. The staff is amazing and we are particularly fond of Dimitri he and the wait staff there will absolutely spoil you. read more

Bice has been one of our favorite restaurants for years, until tonight. We got there at 4.00pm and we were turned away in the most abrupt manner. We were told we will seat you at 5.00 while this was happening a waiter came up behind us told us to get out of the way. There were many tables open. It's impossible to believe that one could be treated like this. We supported them throgh hurricane Irma and the COVID II'm still in shock. WOW! Just WOW. Geoff Kelly. read more

6/11/2017 - SUNDAY JAZZ BRUNCH Saw this place on our way back from our beach run. They had a great special, three course brunch for $24 per person. If you added the bottomless mimosas or prosecco, it was $32 per person. We knew this was the obvious choice. We walked in and sat on a table by the bar, in front of the two-man band playing great jazz. We were served the mimosas and a basket of fresh warm bread. After looking at the menu, we knew we were in for a treat. For the first course, we ordered the Gazpacho and the Smoked Salmon. I am not a salmon lover, but this smoked salmon was perfect. I ended up switching plates and eating the rest of it. The second course, we ordered the Steak and Eggs and the Pasta (see photo). Both dishes were delicious but the pasta was to die for. For dessert, we ordered the fresh fruit and the mango sorbet. We really enjoyed ourselves. The service was impeccable. Highly recommend! read more

My grandma absolutely loves this restaurant, but the overall reviews were very up and down so I wasn't sure what to expect when she said she wanted to eat here... When we pulled up I was pleasantly surprised to see a pretty good sized crowd for a Saturday night. That's always a promising sign. My fiancé and I ordered the tuna tartare to start. It was very good. Not excellent, but absolutely no complaints. So far so good. We then got dirty martinis with blue cheese olives. Also very tasty. We also got wine and the pours by the glass were very generous. For me, that never goes unnoticed or unappreciated! As far as dinner - my fiancé's dish was very meh. I would not recommend the spaghetti with lobster. We were pretty dissatisfied and it was rather bland. On the other hand, my dish was FANTASTIC! We both absolutely loved the tortellini with peas and prosciutto. The sauce was so creamy and the tortellini was cooked perfectly. The prosciutto was delightfully crisped. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Come by and check it out! read more

I've read recent poor reviews on service, other great reviews on food, so decided to try it out. I've walked past Bice many times and made a note to try the bar inside. We sat down at the inside bar. First impression is the bar itself is way too high compared to the seats. The bartender was chatting with the patrons next to us for a minute or so. He then looked at me, said hello, then continued to chat with no acknowledgement he would be with us shortly. Several minutes later he moved to be in front of us. Not offering a menu or any recognition we might be at the bar to order a drink/food. We proactively requested a menu and just felt dismissed after that. No personality or feeling of customer service, as the vibe was not there, and the place is pricey, we left. read more

My family has been returning to BICE every year for 15 years and the food is exactly the same every time. Located just a short walk from the beach in an upscale downtown Naples area. But the best part of our experience is when the Singer does "O Sole Mio" at the end of Happy Hour... my wife is from Naples Italy and it makes her cry every time. He must know every song ever written because he does requests and knows every song we ask for. We love BICE. read more

SEVERE FOOD POISONING!!! We went there on a Tuesday and our friend ordered the Bronzino and calamari. When it came out, we all smelled something and sure enough it was the fish that went bad. My mother ordered the chicken and she was throwing up and in bed for two days. The other food had no flavor. The chef isn't even qualified to work at McDonalds for serving food like that. Shame on you Bice. Yelpers be ware! read more

My favorite place for happy hour on 5th Ave. I really like the whole ambiance of the restaurant. The indoor outdoor feel is great in the front and the back has a more formal dinner vibe. Personally I like sitting at the pretty white bar. Their happy hour is 3-5 during the season and a little bit later off season. And the entire dinner menu is 50% off! They also have $5 wine, beer and well drinks. I personally always get the sangria served in a huge goblet. From their menu, I love the appetizers. My favorite is the fried calamari followed by the ahi tuna. They also do a very extensive cheese and meat plate that's perfect for sharing. Even their bread is very good with a delicious balsamic and burrata like dip. And they always seem to have a great live singer during happy hour. Really adds to the ambiance. Great value and atmosphere! read more

A hidden gem while walking down the streets of Naples. Not intending to go to this restaurant we see a large sign that says 50% off menu so we decided to check it out. Are assumption that a few items would be half off but it turned out everything on the menu was! That was very unusual for a restaurant to do that. After that sign and $5 dollar sangria we couldn't say no. We asked our waiter after getting seated why this was happening and turns out once a month they are starting a Italian party where they will do this. We just got lucky since locals made reservations weeks in-advance. Only seating we could get was outside which was fine. The sangria was a good portion and really good. Waiter said it was a sweet sangria, but our entire table disagreed. It wasn't dry or sweet it was exactly in the middle. Our table of four ordered two salads as appetizers to split. We got the Insalatina Mista which was the traditional and the Insalata di Spinaci con Mele e Caprino. Both of these were very good the dressings were amazing. We were excited to get our main entrées. We ended up ordering the Homemade Ravioli and the pan seared chicken breast with lemon and capper sauce. Both of these dishes were really good. The sauces on both of them were outstanding which really made the dishes. Recommend eating the chicken first before ravioli because the truffle oil is potent. Also order the grilled fresh mediterranean sea-bass which was flakey and flavorful. Very happy with our choice to stop. Check out their Italian party event dates so you can plan for it just as we did ;). read more

We had reservations on a Tuesday evening and was greeted and seated immediately upon arrival. Our server was professional, attentive and sweet. She took our drink orders and bought out water and bread. The bread was delicious and served warm with mascarpone cheese and olive oil. My wife ordered the sea bass and I ordered lasagna, both were served hot and both were delicious with good portions. The food, decor, and service were all great so I was surprised that the Yelp rating was only 3.5. I would definitely recommend Bice. read more

The St. Patty's day parade today. My go to places were so crowded we were only able to get a beer at one of them. Walked down 5th to Bice. Sat right down. Staff friendly, environment perfect for 5th ave. And the weather happens to be perfect today. Caesar salad was small but good. It could have been slightly more dressed, a little more shaved parmesan, and more than 2 croutons. Beef tortellini in parmesan cheese sauce was very good. The fried calamari was fried nicely, the 2 shrimp (which on the menu are referred as prawns) were also fried perfectly. The calamari was tender, but, cut a little too thick. The restaurant's marinara sauce is terrible. Thin like water, some diced onions (I think), and a flavor that resembles tomato soup much more then marinara sauce. The sauce is so integral to the dish that to think that this is Bice's sauce will guarantee that I never return. Too bad. read more

Excellent service and food. Four different entrees and all excellent. Shared and couldn't pick a favorite!

Tasty food but seriously unfriendly staff...and we all know that can make or break your experience. The popular happy would be greater if the music weren't so loud that you have literally scream to your companions to converse. Tip: Just order wine at happy hour because the mixed drinks are incredibly weak and so sugary-sweet you'll need a shot of insulin afterward to keep from getting dizzy and passing out! read more

A disappointing Sunday brunch. Outside of the regular menu, Bice's Sunday brunch consists of just six additional entries. Eggs--their way, only a veggie omelet; a cheeseburger; bagel and nova; and a few other items. No eggs benedict; no French toast; no pancakes. It's more like a half-hearted attempt that falls flat. Why bother? If you want brunch, find a real brunch place. read more

This is my favorite place to go out with my friends and family the food is most of the times very good. This past week I went twice and one night a large party and we had a very bad experience. The waiter was rude arrogant and was taking the food off the table he couldn't wait to go home. I write this review because I want this place to be still be my place to eat. I believe the so called waiter should not serve people at any restaurant, that's want happens when the owners are not around, workers do what ever. read more

Had dinner here around 6:30 on a Friday night. Sat outside in their lovely patio. Started with Burrata and Proscuitto which was great. Then had the papardelle bolognese and chicken Marsala. Overall we loved it only complaint was server took a bit long in between to get us water and such but it was a busy night. We will definitely be back! read more
