Beets By Ray juice to start the day off right!

Lovely atmosphere in here and fantastic food. I had a beet juice and the Turkish eggs -- wonderful flavors and the perfect amount of food for me. The sourdough bread was toasted perfectly and was a generous portion. My partner enjoyed his black coffee and squash eggs. A delightful meal on a super sunny Thursday morning in the open air. Ahhhh.

Delicious breakfast in s cozy spot! We had the french toast with apricots and my fiance got the butternut squash egg dish. The only drawback was the bacon was American and I was expecting Irish bacon. But besides that the atmosphere (a real homey feel with cool art, odds and ends, and knick knacks) and service was great.

I was quite disappointed with my visit to BiBi's, especially as I trekked half an hour across town, hungover, to have brunch here with the girls. We got there and were told there's a 30min wait for a table and they'd call us when the table is ready. We sat outside in the cold and waited. After 25mins a waitress comes out and asks us to please stand while we are waiting and there were still 2 parties ahead of us. Apparently people wanted to eat outside, something that was not offered to us earlier. At that stage, we decided to leave just as another staff member called to say our table is ready. So yeah, that system seems to work really well for them ... The service we received once seated was excellent. We were looked after with plenty of cucumber/mint water straight away; we ordered black coffee, mocha and a hot chocolate, hazelnut and peanut butter brownies and the black pudding on sourdough with poached eggs. The brownies were amazing but the egg dish I wouldn't order again. It was just okay. The people that were seated on the other end of our table (yes, we had to share our table) had the French Toast which looked much more appetizing. The interior is really pretty and although they are very busy, the service was very friendly and quick. I'd give them another go some other time.

The owners of a bed and breakfast my son and I were staying in had a family emergency and graciously gave us funds and a recommendation for a local breakfast spot. Bibi's didn't disappoint. The squash eggs were delicious; a dish I still try to replicate at home 3 years later.

Bibi's Café was a good surprise. Hidden in a peaceful street at the North of the Canal, no one would expect such a cute Breakfast place. Small and cozy, let me tell you that it deserves its rating. Nomnomnom, after a little walk on the canal, here I am on a sunny Sunday mor.... afternoon. First impression, the place. Very cute, a little girly, with a few 'weird art piece'. I like that :). The service was okay, the dishes reaaaally good. I had the poached eggs, which were good (and the cooking was perfect), my other half had the grilled cheese. Mamma mia, it was delish! Except that it became a little sickening at the end, maybe a little too much butter. However, the association of the chutney with the ham and cheese was really worth feeling a little heavy afterwards. The bread was exceptionally good, and the granola too (even if I like it with more cluster, less muesly-like. But I'm quibbling). To finish, the juice were tasty, but I can't get over the fact that despite they were made of the day, they were served in individual, single use bottles. Think of Mother Nature, good lord! Or maybe think of doing your own juices? Anyway, except for one or two details, this was a great experience. Thank you Bibi's café, next time I'll try to enjoy your cute terrace!

This is the Sunday brunch I have been looking for - perfectly prepared french toast with a sweet syrup and stacked with bacon - served with a good strong coffee. it was fantastic. Junior chose the beans on toast - a less impressive dish which had him gazing wistfully at mine. A better father would have shared or even swapped but "nuts to him" I thought, he will treat this as a life lesson, I dug into my lovely bacon and toast with relish. ...no, we shared, though I did so grudgingly, it was really very good. For 3 of us, 3 dishes and 2 coffees the bill came to less than 30 Euro, which was very good and streets ahead of sister Sadie from a couple of weeks ago. Only thing I'd say is you should go early - certainly for a Sunday morn where the place filled up incredibly quickly after opening.

This is about two weeks late however I wanted to be sure to post a review as my sister and I LOVED Bibi's, especially being tourists. First, it was our last day in Dublin and we wanted to find a quiet breakfast spot so we poked around Yelp. The reviews and menu looked good so we thought we'd give it a try. The food was amazing!!! We shared strawberry brioche French toast and poached eggs with bacon on English muffins (basically eggs Benedict). Both of us thought the food tasted so wonderfully and the presentation was perfect! The restaurant itself was adorable. The decor and set up was very cute, almost shabby chic-like. At first we definitely felt like it was clearly a locals spot and we felt a little out of place but the waitresses were very friendly. After we finished, we asked for some advice on where to venture out to for our last day in Ireland and a couple of them gave us great advice to take the train to Dun Laoghaire, walk around the beach, and have ice cream at Teddy's. We took their advice and had a wonderful last day in Ireland. I wish I could remember their names but thanks again to the girls working that morning! We really appreciated it!!

I love Bibi's, the food here is great quality, fresh, wholesome and cooked to perfection. I've tried sweet and savoury and will keep coming back for more. The coffee is nothing to write home about, they could do with employing a quality barista on the weekends. But the eggs, the french toast, the scones, the brownies, the cakes, everything else is so delicious it makes me want to just sit with the paper and graze all day. It's usually busy so pop along early if you want to get a seat!

This place is amazing. I am still dreaming about the Squash eggs w/ black pudding and coconut milk latte 3 weeks later. I live in NYC so it is really upsetting that I cannot eat here at my convenience. I definitely think the service was a bit slow but I was totally ok with that. I was not in any rush. If you are make sure you let them know when you sit. Also, this place gets packed! Make sure you show up right when they open or be prepared to wait a while. Lots of people got turned away while I was sitting outside. PS. They have an awning outside and it is just so nice to sit out there when it is raining. It was perfection and I think my favorite brunch meal EVER!

Bibi's cafe was walking distance from our air bnb and we visited this location twice for breakfast. The path to Bibi's cafe involves walking through residential streets and may be a bit confusing if maps aren't your friends. There is outside seating as well as inside seating. The first time we went there, we sat outside and sat inside on our second visit. I liked that each table had a little vase with fresh flowers on it and the server immediately brought a jug of cucumber and mint infused water with drinking glasses for us. First day I had Turkish eggs and a coconut latte (as pictured). The meal was delicious but I was not a fan of the latte (I could not taste the espresso in it, just coconut). The second day I ordered sweet toast with strawberries which was also very scrumptious. The prices were fair, around 10 euro per breakfast entree and portions were reasonable. A tip for tourists like myself: seat yourself and when you are ready to leave after having your meal, go up to the cashier and pay for (do not expect them to bring a bill to your table). I definitely recommend you give this place a visit!

The first day we arrived to Dublin, I had a bit of a headache. I sent my husband in search of coffee and a bite in the hopes of warding off the headache. He brought back a tuna melt and mocha from The Bald Barista. Both were excellent. The tuna melt was herbaceous and flavorful and the mocha was the perfect blend or rich chocolate and strong espresso. So, a few days later when my mom arrived and was hoping for coffee and a bite, I said--I've got just the place! On that visit, we enjoyed our coffee and food in house. You order at the counter where you enter and if you're dining in, you simply take the stairs to the dining room and they'll bring you both your food and coffee. This time, I ordered the same coffee (why mess with a good thing) and a yogurt with everything (fruit, nuts, seeds--the works!). The shop itself is cute, warm, and inviting. The service is top notch with beautifully friendly folks working in here (including the Bald Barista himself). If you're in Dublin and are looking for an exemplary cuppa and some tasty bites served with a smile--this is your spot. Get to it!

They prepare and serve up coffee as a city better than any other city in the world. Sorry Seattle, Portland, its the truth. As a full fledge coffee nerd/snob I am looking for great coffee nothing more. Also if they don't roast their own beans and they are just serving someone else's coffee they will never get above a 3 star from me. I am looking strictly at the coffee and the customer service in my reviews. Accents was fantastic. When I walked in the Barista, a pretty little red headed Irish woman was doing some spectacular latte art on a Mocha, she smiled and asked me what I would like. I order just a regular Latte. They do not roast their own beans, but she was out of coffee in the grinder, she reached for a new sealed bag and I caught the name, McCabe's. I was unfamiliar so afterward I looked them up. here is the link if anyone is interested. (https://mccabecoffee.com) Local award winning Cork roaster. I watched the Barista, fill the grinder and then told me it would be a minute as she needed to dial in the espresso. I shook my head in a circle like I didn't get it but okay. She had it dialed in after 3 shots. looked like 18 in and 36 out. She was a pro, steamed my milk while the shot pulled in about 24 seconds. I ordered my drink to go but it was still presented with great art and a smile. Told me where the sugar and lids were but suggested I tried it before i added anything, that the espresso is very good. I tasted it and said, "You are right, needs nothing" and it didn't. BEST LATTE I HAVE HAD THIS TRIP TO DUBLIN. I am breaking my own rule here, I can because they are my rules, they don't roast but they use fantastic local Micro-roasted beans and prepare my drink to perfection.
