Had breakfast here based on a recommendation from a local. The atmosphere is great with outdoor seating perfect for people watching. Graham our server was funny and kept the line of people waiting to enter entertained. We ordered the black coffee and scrambled eggs and bacon. The coffee was robust and piping hot. The scrambled eggs were a little undercooked and the bacon was not as expected compared to bacon in the US, but here to try new things!
The Most Fun & Friendly service - Irish style! Our breakfast was delicious. The staff treated us like locals. Wish we had stopped here on our first day of our trip rather than our last.
Loved this place. It was small and not overwhelming. We came for breakfast and had the Irish breakfast and coffee. Food was delicious and filling, coffee was great. Staff was funny and blunt. They gave us a list of local recommendations to take a picture of which was a nice touch. Recommend if you're in the area.
Found this place on TikTok and then saw it was highly recommended and we were not disappointed!! Had to wait a few minutes and ended up sharing a table with a lovely Canadian couple (love the they did this to cut down on wait time!). Food came out quickly and was delicious. The waiter Mocha was a hoot and kept the vibe super fun and energized. The full Irish was delicious and the location was perfect for activities in Dublin. Mocha insisted we take a picture with his "boss" (picture included) so maybe not a spot for kids... but certainly a memory for the books!
Visiting Ireland for the first time, I did my best to read up on good places to grab a Full Irish Breakfast in Dublin and the Stage Door Café popped up on a few lists, Reddit posts, so I put it on my list to try and I'm glad I did! I walked in on a Tuesday morning and had zero issue getting a table. The inside is relatively small with several tables, as well as a bar to sit and watch the cook work the griddle. It's definitely an older place with lots of old odds and ends hanging around, but was clean. A gentleman came over with the menu but I didn't need it, I knew what I came there for. He was friendly though we didn't speak much, albeit I didn't need much of anything. I sipped on an Irish Coffee, my first time having one, as I waited but it wasn't a long wait. I'll be honest, I was a little anxious ordering a Full Irish Breakfast as the beans and the black/white pudding seemed odd for breakfast but don't knock it until you try it! This was a fantastic meal to start the day. The bacon and sausage were delicious, the eggs cooked perfectly, and the toast was perfectly toasted. I really liked the black/white pudding and I was surprised how well the beans paired with the dish. Dublin is kind of a pricey but for everything I got, no complaints here. The Full Irish Breakfast from Stage Door Café did a great job filling me up and getting me out the door to conquer the day! If I'm ever in Dublin again, I'd come back here to satiate my need for a proper Full Irish Breakfast.

Was looking for a place to grab a full Irish before heading to Heuston Station from Temple Bar, and this place hit the spot! The full Irish here is huge and delicious! For just €13.95 there was sooo much food. The owner is super friendly and cool, and despite being short staffed, everything came out super fast. Cannot recommend this brunch enough!!
Being in Dublin for the first time, I wanted a true Irish breakfast. Stage Door did not disappoint. (See pic), I sat outside and people watched whilst enjoying a full plate that included beans. Do stop in.

Must try: Irish Breakfast and Irish Coffee! Why: When we rolled up to the cafe around 8:45am we were greeted by the owner who was a hoot and so welcoming! Loved his energy as he made us feel warm and made us laugh. Great way to start the morning! Irish Breakfast was hearty deliciousness and the Irish Coffee had a nice kick to it. Notes: Indoor and outdoor seating with a small bathroom inside. All the workers were good vibes. The other patrons were awesome too. It started to get full by 9:30am. Coffee came out swiftly and the food right after. All around one of our fav dining experience!

The food is amazing!!! We had the traditional Irish breakfast and the ham and cheese omelette. We also all had the Irish coffee which is the best I've ever had. The store has a eclectic and funny vibe. Domain server maybe owner is absolutely hilarious and a great employee everything comes out perfect and delicious.
Stage door cafe feels like visiting a good friends place. Small space inside but we got seat quickly at 7 am (they open at 6 am) although almost every table was full. Open early so if you're struggling to find a place, this is it. The Irish breakfast hits the spot - the buttery toast was heavenly and the blood sausage was my favorite part - hearty and delicious. It also came with sausage, sunny side up egg, sweet beans and ham. The service is like none other from the minute you walk in, you feel like you're at an old friends place and as you leave, they give you recommendations and a list of local bars and hangouts that Irish people love. When I go back to Dublin, I'm definitely going back here for breakfast. read more

Had read a lot of good things about this spot and it was close to our hotel, so we decided to drop by. It was a little sprinkly that day, but they do have an awning outside. We were sat at a table at the end since they were all full inside. The menu is pretty small and basic. I read the irish breakfast was the thing to get here. Reading all the reviews, I actually expected it to be bigger. Seemed like a normal size plate to me. My omelet was good. A nice amount of filling. The irish coffee was okay. Too sweet and creamy for my taste tho. I am more of a black coffee girl. Simple spot. Friends found this on TikTok and found it highly recommended. From their understanding the staff are supposed to be "rude" to you but I didn't find they were. Maybe sarcastic but not rude. What was annoying was them telling everyone their credit card machine would be down and then you'd have to wash dishes or stay until it came back up. They did this to the table next to us but then came back and seemed like it was a joke and was like "oh it's back up." When it came time for us to pay they said it was down and needed to pay cash. We pushed back a little and said you've literally said that to everyone then the guy became rude. So we get out cash and go to pay and he's like oh I'm restarting the machine you can pay by card. That was annoying. Other than that place was small and quaint. Serves traditional Irish breakfast items. Food was good, just don't expect anything to be favorable. Food in general in Ireland is very bland. read more

If you are in Dublin I quite literally think this is a must! The full Irish breakfast here is INSANE. We have had a decent amount to compare to and I will say this is one of the most elite ones! Every single aspect of the plate was absolutely perfect. It's a small café but that is nothing to sway you away as it's fun inside, we sat outside and we had an absolute perfect morning with that! The staff is great and definitely will conversate with you and give you a hard time (in a loving manner) if you are a tourist! read more

We love the stage door café. It's a great location in the temple bar area and the scrambled eggs and toast are the best I have ever. They also have a pretty amazing Irish coffee. But the best part is Graham the waiter. read more

I stumbled upon this hole in the wall while desperately looking for somewhere serving breakfast on a Sunday. The owner was so helpful to a bedraggled tourist like myself who was exhausted from walking for hours. The hearty Irish breakfast was full of flavor and exactly what I needed to raise my spirits. Everything from the tea to the bacon is made with immaculate care. read more

Someone please explain to me why no coffee spots are open in Dublin before 8AM?! After landing at the airport at 5AM and dropping our bags at our hotel, my husband and I were desperate for coffee - and every place we passed by only opened at 8AM or 10AM. WHY? Thankfully - we saw Stage Door Cafe and they had opened early that morning, 730AM, so we eagerly grabbed a table. We ended up staying for breakfast - my husband enjoyed his full Irish breakfast and I enjoyed a simple scrambled eggs with toast. So thankful for this place to caffeinate us early in the morning! read more

I enjoyed my first full Irish breakfast yesterday at the Stage Door Cafe and left very much sated. Lads and lasses, get in, sit down, order, eat, and move on because there is likely someone right behind waiting to get in. There's no frills here, just good food and coffee. Don't even think about busting out a laptop here - this is not a place to hang out. You eat - you leave. Them's the rules. The crew here does not feck about. And expect a wee bit of char on those sausages that you'll be happy to wolf down anyway. For less than 20 Euro you get a great plate of food that will keep you fed for several hours. The omelets, beans and toast, etc. I saw at other tables looked just as good. But, seriously, get here early or be prepared for at least a 10-15 minute wait...outside. And have a good feckin' sense of humor or be prepared to blush at some of the humor here. Solid breakfast experience - would definitely return. There's a good feckin' lad. read more

Wow, I can't say enough good things about stage door. The employees were so welcoming and funny. They made us feel right at home. The food was amazing. We got the full Irish breakfast, a baileys coffee, and an Irish coffee. I would recommend getting all of the above if you have the chance. The inside was cozy and gave the sense of having breakfast at a friend's house. We definitely saved the best for last with the stage door cafe! read more

Flight landed around 5:30am. Walked around Dublin and found this place opened for breakfast. To our surprise, it was a very nice place to have breakfast. It's very small and may only accommodate about 10-12 customers. The server/cooks were very lively and made the atmosphere enjoyable. It was my first Irish coffee and was not expecting the shock of the whiskey. It was good every sip. The breakfast which they called an Irish breakfast. It was a good thing my wife and I decided to share it. It was delicious and plentiful. This is a great place breakfast and highly recommended. read more
