Avocado toast with smoked salmon in the side. One hearty breakfast, as was my wife's Turkish breakfast.
    Marc P.

I got the Avocado Toast w/ a side of smoked salmon, and my wife got the Turkish Breakfast. Both were very hearty meals with good quality food. My eggs were cooked perfectly and it came atop a nice thick piece of good bread, and the salmon was really tasty. I would not hesitate to go back there or recommend it, but I give 4 stars instead of 5 for the following reasons: 1) my wife's requested "over medium" eggs were overcooked. 2) my avocado "toast" really should have been called avocado "bread".....because the bread was soft and squishy (aka, not toasted at all). 3) I felt that there should have been some sauce to add a bit more flavor to the avocado toast (such as the balsamic peppery vinegar that is sometimes served w/ avocado toast in the U.S.)....everything was quality ingredients, but it just seemed a bit bland, even after I added some salt and pepper to it myself. 4) they gave us tiny glasses of tap water and never came around to refill them (they really weren't much on the customer service front as far checking in with you to see how the food tasted or if there was anything you needed).

Stopped in for a quick breakfast. Laid back service our waitress/host seemed to be not in mood. Food was good solid 3+ place is not big inside but seemed clean. No mimosa or bloody mary until 10:30 am keep in mind.

    A beautiful Guiness stew

This cozy café is an unassuming spot but makes very delicious stew. I had the beef and guiness stew which is everywhere in Ireland, but this one just hit differently. The braised beef was so tender and the flavor of the stew was deep, dark and delicious. Paired with mash potatoes and brown bread, it warms from the inside out. Perfect when the weather is wet and drizzly all day and you need to get the cold out of your bones. Would fully recommend.

Electric music mix, fast and loud beat. Busy and touristy venue. The service was okay, the pace of food was slow. The prices were moderate. Can't beat the location, right by the River Liffey on the tourist path. It's a convenient stop for a quick lunch. We ordered: 3*Fish and chips: Tempura Batter, Fresh Fillet of Haddock, served with Chips, Salad and Homemade Tartar Sauce: big portion and decent quality. Not much flavor though, mostly relied on the tartar & tomato sauce and good fries 3*Falafel burger- Special Spinach and Falafel Patty, Beef, tomato Onion, Lettuce, Tomato Relish, Gherkins, and fries: it was pretty good, nothing extraordinary.

    Turkish breakfast

We were staying nearby while in Dublin and decided to have a big breakfast one day. Murphy's had a lot of great options on the menu; I went with the Turkish breakfast which came with fried eggs, crisp chorizo, crisp potatoes and hash browns, cheese and olives, tomatoes and cucumbers, and toast. It was all delicious and filling. That plus a pot of tea kept me going all day as we walked all over touring around. Service was fast and everyone was friendly. The pastries the case looked amazing as well and if I weren't already so full, would have tried those as well.

Rating is somewhere between a 4 and 4.5! This was a great spot for breakfast in Dublin, coffee was amazing. We ordered a full Irish breakfast and the menemen; the menemen was defiantly the star of the show. Great bread with both dishes. Service was a little laid back and not very attentive but aside from that it was a great meal. The outside was a little rough around the edges but the inside was pretty cute. Overall enjoyed our experience.

This place was outstanding. The food was out of this world, service was better than most and the interior was beautiful. I had the Irish breakfast and could not finish it. The bacon was exactly like I have it all the time at home, cooked softly not crispy. The hash brown was like no other. It came with mushrooms but did not eat them. My mother ate them at said they were great. The blood pudding was earthy and not bad. The sausage was very good and the eggs were cooked perfectly. My wife had the pouched eggs. They were perfectly cooked for pouched eggs. But the part that was great on her plate were the potatoes and the cheese that came with the dish. I would recommend this place for breakfast for sure. We will probably be back on this trip for breakfast.

Eggs on toast (the toast is coming)

Sat outside and had breakfast here on our first morning (honestly bc they place we were going for was closed). But, no regrets. Enjoyed some pancakes and eggs with toast and a hash brown. Great place to enjoy breakfast while people watching. It's on the other side of the river from Temple Bar so it feels a little more real. They had an assortment of pastries as well as a good menu to choose from. Service was very good as well.

Great breakfast spot in Dublin. My fiancé and I stayed at the Moxy Dublin and walked over to Murphy's. We didn't know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised by the service, food, and vibe. Lots of people were here enjoying brunch, we had a little corner table and really just enjoyed our time and meal. The staff was attentive and the food was delicious. Would recommend to locals and visitors alike.

Beautiful, small place that gets packed very quickly. Interestingly enough I thought it was a French bistro, but I believe the owners hail from Ukraine as that is the country flag that was hung outside the shape if my world history learnings are correct. My husband didn't finish his fritters that have avocado on them bc he's not a fan of avocado. He forgot to ask that they be removed. His fault. Very nice young staff. I wish that we had discovered this restaurant sooner bc we would have eaten breakfast there again but we discovered it on our second to last day.

I didn't wait more than 5/10 minutes. I grabbed a couple of different things for us to try -- the focaccia, morning bun, salted caramel roll, and the cinnamon roll. My favorite was easily the focaccia, which could compete with the best I had in Italy -- so good. The morning bun was good, but nothing crazy exciting. The salted caramel roll had to be the least caramel-y caramel roll I've ever had, but it didn't taste bad and the salted part was interesting (in a good way!). The Cinnamon roll was unique, which I appreciate. It had a big glob of cream cheese frosting (too much for me, but I imagine it would float a lot of folks' boats) and some orange flavoring! I quite liked the orange. I wanted to get a matcha to go, but they said they didn't have disposable cups. You could buy a 5 euro reusable one and then if you brought it back you'd get a refund... interesting, but I was leaving that day and wouldn't be back in the area. I can't speak to the ambiance because we were in and out, but it looked like they had a decent amount of space. All in all, I would recommend this place! For me it was a 4, but I'm sure for some it would bop up to a 5.

It was a wonderful pile of meat overflowing out of a little skillet with a stack of soda bread and butter. Truly it was a delight. I also ordered up their irish coffee. This was especially fun because it's not a simple shot of whiskey, coffee and cream. They create a brown sugar syrup blended with the whiskey to cook off the alcohol but retain the flavor.
