Went here two days in a row and once for dinner (to Notions) and every visit was 10/10. First visit was for takeout Shakshuka and a chai and I was NOT disappointed! Absolutely delicious. Today we went over for breakfast and had the eggs Florentine with the Guinness hollandaise on brown bread. Incredible. I also got a Guinness muffin and I have to say it's a good thing I haven't gotten one before now or I would have eaten one EVERY DAY we've been here. They are THAT good. Absolutely delicious cafe and a damn good (but pricey) small plates restaurant at night. Great service too! read more

Just a hop away from the Hyatt Centric, our group enjoyed our first breakfast in Dublin. We got two coffees and two sausage rolls and our friends got the Shakshuka with sourdough toast and a chai tea. All was piping hot and delicious. I was blown away with all the seating (inside and out). There was even a group with a cute dog. I guess that's why they call it Two Pups Coffee hee hee. read more

Best decision we made to come here for brunch!! We landed early in Dublin looking for brunch and landed on this place and it was amazing. We had a big party (6 people) and only had to wait maybe 20 minutes for a table. It's not a huge place but they do a good job seating people. To drink I went with the dirty chai which was stunning and spicy. To eat I got the Turkish eggs and shared a cinnamon roll You can tell all the ingredients are so fresh. Our waitress was also so nice and the staff was great such a cute place. Gotta stop in if you're in Dublin! read more

We saw this place as we walked out of our hotel across the street. We went in to get a quick coffee and some kind of pastry. I'm glad we came in. They were super quick and our pastries were all yummy and perfect with our coffee. We had the croissant which was flaky and their lemon raspberry loaf was not sweet at all and perfect flavor combination. The brownie was more like a fudge but was super yummy. This place is just so stinkin' cute and a very nice respite on a cold, wet day. From the front it looks pretty small, but there is actually a ton of room in the back, which is not obvious to the new visitor. You order at the counter and get served at the table. If you are in the front room you may be disturbed by the coming and goings of the ordering, but you also get a front line view of the pastries on display. Free wifi is available. I really enjoyed the uniqueness of my avocado toast, the pickled onions were delicious. My partner enjoyed his apple pastry. I found the salt and pepper containers to be adorable and really appreciate the ability to add bigger chunks to my food. I originally stopped at a similar coffee shop nearby and hated the vibe, I am so glad I left to discover this place instead. read more

An amazing little coffee shop! Nestled close to St. Patrick's Cathedral, this shop has phenomenal coffee, food, and friendly staff!! The eggs on toast was delicately crafted to include lightly fried eggs, bacon, and toppings on a thick piece of toast with their signature hot sauce. Their fresh orange juice was delightfully crisp over ice, the bacon smoked to perfection, and the coffee full of flavor without any bitterness. Ducked into this coffee shop to avoid the rain and decided to stay for brunch upon seeing the menu and high occupancy - what a good snap decision we made! My friend immediately had her heart set on the avocado toast, and after looking around the space, I also noticed that almost every single person had ordered it as well. Now I'm usually not a fan of avocado toast, but both my friend and I agreed that Two Pups made the best version of it that we had ever had. The house made hot sauce is delicious and perfectly accents the fresh avocado and sourdough - we asked if they bottled it for sale but sadly it's only in house! I had a side of their special bacon (forget what it was called) and it too was scrumptious. The coffee was quite good although I forgot to order my latte with oat milk (my and all of NYC's current obsession), but honestly I wasn't really paying attention amidst my enjoyment of the food. Also, a woman leaving the shop bumped into my friend and spilled her water all over her, and after alerting the barista they kindly made my friend a free flat white! Fantastic place to eat with calm, simple decor and tasty food with nuanced flavors and textures. The people who work here are friendly and helpful as well. I messed up my order as the first thing I requested was sold out so I quickly picked the avocado toast instead. I failed to notice that avocado toast is made with peanut butter here and I have a nut allergy. They kindly made me a new one with miso butter instead and it was delectable. If I go back to Ireland this would be the first place I'd go to for brunch. The avocado peanut butter toast was incredible, I can't believe more places haven't started serving this combination. Also this was the first time in my life where I felt the restaurant almost served... dare I say it, too much avocado? Lovely little spot on Francis St cool and quirky interior and unfortunately that's as good as it got. While the food was tasty the portion sizes are tiny for what you pay. The service; yes you're cool , hip , trendy blah blah blah but does it mean you provide crap customer service , seems so as is the case with so many places like this in Dublin. Unfriendly girl on the till taking orders , unfriendly staff dropping food to the tables. I had tried for twenty mins to get someone's attention as I needed something , I was less than five metres away form the counter where there were four staff members at times, the waitress spent five mins cleaning the table in front of me ignoring my waving arm. Rather than just leave annoyed and write a terrible passive aggressive review I decided to say it in person but all I got was a disingenuous "ok sorry". A smile and the pretence of actually giving a f**k would easily have appeased me but now I'm forced to waste my time being passive aggressive online (I do this in the hope they read it and hopefully treat customers with a little more respect and gratitude) Over all good tasty, over priced 13.50 for two eggs, one slice of bread and two pieces of black pudding and a black coffee. What a great cup of coffee. The star was the mocha, which was undeniably made with real chocolate, but the flat whites weren't far behind. Also, try the oat and peach cake, perfumed with rose water. This is a casual place, but the service is very friendly. You order at the counter, then your drinks and food, accompanied by a carafe of water and glasses, are delivered to your table. I found this little gem by accident yesterday and decided to stop in for a quick caffeine fix. This place is so something that Dublin needed! The staff was very helpful and welcoming. I got a latte which was excellent and an 'energy ball' which was really filling and rich and healthy and basically a perfect pre dinner snack. The lighting was good. This place is adorable. Everything feels as though it came from a vintage store or a garage sale. I got toast with avocado and egg and it was exquisite. The salt and pepper shakers are the cutest and the staff was incredibly friendly. They also have yoga in the mornings and many options of coffee and bakery items. read more

The cafe has big and small tables, there us free wifi, nice baked treats and good coffee. The guys running the place are so cool and welcoming. I really like it, esp, that it's located on one of the most interesting streets in dublin (Francis st), it has so many antique, vintage and retro shops. Plus, the street is full of street art all the way to the end. I would suggest exploring this area and treating your self a cake or coffee in this cafe. read more

I've passed by this cafe a gazillion times over the last I don't know how long - it looks so inviting. And last Friday lunchtime with the sun shining my husband and I decided to grab seat and have something to eat. The plan was he would have the Hake and I would have a couple of sides - avocado and I think black pudding wrapped in bacon and we'd wash it down wit a bottle of red. I was disappointed to hear that our order couldn't be taken as you apparently you cant have sides without a large platter. The server was very polite and friendly - cant fault her but she was clear what the policy was. This was a little after 1pm and as I had a meeting at 2 I declined her offer to talk to the manager. Despite it being 1pm on a Friday there were a good number of free chairs / tables. I guess our spend would have been in the order of €50 or so but I guess if they're in the lucky position of not needing to take €50 or so when there are empty tables good look to them - they're in a good place. I contacted the café through messenger that afternoon and so far no reply - perhaps too busy refusing money and keeping tables free in the hope of a bigger payload. read more
