Busy Feet is a really nice little place set in the centre of Dublin's unofficial café district, South William St. Busy Feet is across the road from Metro Café and next door to another coffee shop, but Busy Feet is head and shoulders above the competition in one aspect: it's food. Busy Feet do amazing cooked breakfasts, and their sandwiches and paninis and such are pretty top-notch, too. The decor inside is really nice: all tiles and really big old-style beer taps (oh yeah, and Busy Feet is a licenced premises, so full bar and open til half eleven). There are tables out in front, and a small outdoor area out the back as well. Here's the thing, though: for sitting outside, Metro Café across the road is better. For one thing, Metro has more seats, but it's also just nicer for some reason. I realise that they are so close that it is essentially the same 'outside' that you are sitting in, but most of Metro's seating has south-facing aspect so it catches the sun more. And there is some sort of intrinsic quality of 'outsideyness' that Metro possesses that Busy Feet lacks. The food in Metro is pretty dire, though, and the food in Busy Feet is damn good, and there isn't actually anything wrong with Busy Feet's outdoor seating, so Busy Feet is overall a good bet. So head down to Busy Feet in the morning for a scrumptious cooked breakfast, then head over to Metro for coffee and posing while smoking fags, and then back to Busy Feet when it has reached a socially acceptable time to start drinking. Go on, make a day of it.

Lovely café with a standard breakfast and lunch menu as well as some desserts and other good bits. The coffee had a nice taste and perfect temperature and the cake was good. The inside seating was standard and nice enough, the outside seating was lovely despite being so close to the street.

Alcohol freeeeeeee!

A nice enough cafe. On the face of it the menu looks like good value, but the portions are small. I had a BLT and an alcohol free Erdinger. Sandwich was very tasty. Staff were nice, although a bit slow in taking our order. It has nice on street seating. And it was the start of the heatwave. Felt like I was a tourist on holidays... :)

I love Busy Feet, I spent most of my college years here! The coffee is decent, but I love the salads and the desserts. I had a craving for a piece of chocolate cake on Sunday and remembered how amazing the death by chocolate cake is in Busy Feet. You get this HUGE slice of cake, served warm ganache and a very generous spoon of icecream. Delicious - I'm still thinking about it!

Busyfeet is a really cute busy little café on the corner of Couth William St. I like to pop in here for breakfast sometimes and read the papers. They do a really tasty fry and the service is always great. It's quite a mix of a crowd - all ages - but mostly young thirsty somethings, meeting friends for coffee or lunch.

I went there to grab some coffee and some sandwiches. I forgot the exact name of the sandwiches but it was goat cheese something (First thing in the sandwiches menu). The sandwiches was soooo delicious! It goes well with americano I ordered. The service was very friendly too. The reason why I am not giving them 5 stars is because water seems to be such a rare commodity here. Lol. I have to ask for water and it doesn't seem to be encouraged. Perhaps when serving others, always provide a cup of water as well? That would be great. But other than that, everything was perfect. Thank you!

This is a great little no-frills cafe that serves really nice soups, sandwiches and salads. There's plenty of seating inside and a little outdoor terrace too - so it's a great place to people-watch if the weather is being in any way obliging (which isn't very often boo!) and though the menu isn't overly exciting, the food is really fresh and the portions are generous - making it a great lunch spot. Sure, it's not the most exciting place to eat, but if you fancy a fresh, filling, fuss-free lunch - it's just the ticket!

Perfect location for a shopping break. All is fresh and they are super fast with service

For a change, I am having the brownie and a latte!

My two daughters (age 2 & 4) have chocolate brownies and ice cream here as often as their parents can get them to 'town.' In fact 'town' means busyfeet. & coco to Morla. Daddy has chai latte when joining the girls, or slips in for quiet brunch with caffeinated late when he needs to! Importantly, lattes are not overheated!

With just a few small tables and chairs outside, the standing room only interior is a picture of economy. These were my first impressions as customers steadily streamed inside to place orders and then leave to wait for their sandwich or sit a bit. My eyes locked into the pastrami melt sandwich on the menu and I waited my turn, albeit a bit nervously, to place my order with one of the three gents who were slinging the sandwiches. All the ingredients in the deli case looked fresh, from the lettuce, meats, cheese, etc, to the types of bead on top of the case, like the focaccia. Each sandwich is made fresh, and once assembled, is pressed to warm the roll and melt the cheese. My pastrami melt arrived loaded with the meat, and all the ingredients enhanced by the deli mustard made for a great tasting sandwich. It's probably the best pastrami sandwich I've tasted in a long while. Every employee was patient and helpful, and I found this to be quite an effort since customers kept placing orders without much of a break. The Pig & Heifer is definitely worth a repeat visit.

If you're dining in, you order at the counter and get a table number to place wherever you decide to sit. There's plenty of seating inside which is a plus. What I got: -Potato danish- savory; slight salty, crispy flakey layers. -Sausage roll- slightly salty for my preference, but has a very crispy crust and a meaty sausage in the middle. We went back a second time on our trip and got a few more pastries, all of which were very delicious. The pastries were hot, flakey, glistening, delicate, and perfectly sweet on both visits. I would definitely come back if I were to visit Dublin again.

I didn't wait more than 5/10 minutes. I grabbed a couple of different things for us to try -- the focaccia, morning bun, salted caramel roll, and the cinnamon roll. My favorite was easily the focaccia, which could compete with the best I had in Italy -- so good. The morning bun was good, but nothing crazy exciting. The salted caramel roll had to be the least caramel-y caramel roll I've ever had, but it didn't taste bad and the salted part was interesting (in a good way!). The Cinnamon roll was unique, which I appreciate. It had a big glob of cream cheese frosting (too much for me, but I imagine it would float a lot of folks' boats) and some orange flavoring! I quite liked the orange. I wanted to get a matcha to go, but they said they didn't have disposable cups. You could buy a 5 euro reusable one and then if you brought it back you'd get a refund... interesting, but I was leaving that day and wouldn't be back in the area. I can't speak to the ambiance because we were in and out, but it looked like they had a decent amount of space. All in all, I would recommend this place! For me it was a 4, but I'm sure for some it would bop up to a 5.

Outside was as mess, there were no chairs at some tables and other had to many with dirty dishes on them. So we decided to go in. There was no hostess nor any wait staff so we stood there like stooges. Finally ,two of the wait staff walked right by and just ignored us so we decided to take a seat. Now they want to come talk to us! I asked if this seat was ok and got the reply "I guess it will have to be as you already sat down". Should have got up then but the wife was tired so decided to stay. It was crazy warm in there with little air flow. I liked the atmosphere and ambience. Guess they wanted to make a point as we sat there for 15 mins without water or anybody coming by. Had to flag down what appeared to be a bus boy to get water. Finally had order taken by male bus boy who seemed he wanted to be anywhere else and said "I am waiting". We ordered two "specials" and the bœuf bourguignon. Two separate couples came in and were served before we received our food. So hard to eat as it was 80-85 degrees in there. The beef was good and would recommend. The two specials were chicken and very very dry. To wrap it up we had to hunt down the wait staff to get the ticket as they actively avoided eye contact. Fairly expensive for just ok food and horrible service. Customer service is not hard. A "Welcome" or "Glad you came in" goes a long way.
