I've been coming to this restaurant for about 10 years. The servers are always very kind and attentive. The music and lighting of the restaurant is very cozy and not too loud. The food is what keeps me coming back. The Adana kebab and spicy vegetable are my favorite. The side of the red cabbage salad and pepper that comes with the Adana kebab compliments the lamb Adana. The spicy vegetable is a must and pairs well with the complimentary bread that is served. The red lentil soup is warm and a rich velvety texture that is perfect for a cold day. The lunch special is also a great deal. Will be coming back again soon.

I loved this place! I had passed by here so many times and I just recently decided to try it for date night. Firstly, I was amazed by how inviting the place felt, as well as the people. Our host and waitress was very kind and attentive! She sat us at a perfect spot by the window, made recommendations, and ensured our dinner experience was a good one with her positive energy! Now let's talk food We started with the babaganoush; it was delicious. The bread that was served was also super tasty and fresh. I then tried the lamb shish with yogurt which was also pretty amazing, BUT I did end up feeling full quickly so I didn't get to fully enjoy. Will I be returning here? Absolutely!

I really wanted to give the Beyoglu Grill 3.5 Stars. Street parking & municipal parking in lower level of high-rise building next door. Simple but nice decorations. Friendly, Authentic Turkish staff. Good to very good versions of the Turkish classics: adana, kebobs, hummus, Shepherd's salad. The MEZZE PLATTER which is a combination of appetizers platter. Hummus, babaganoush, lebni, spicy vegetable, eggplant with sauce is enough for 4 and a great way to try many of the cold apps at once. Prices are comparable to other Turkish restaurants. Full bar

Excellent service? Check. Tasty food? Check. Great atmosphere? Check. Price? Check. I've ordered pick up from this restaurants several times before, however this was my first time dinning in; food was excellent, our party ordered the mixed grill platter, Baba Ganoosh, lintel soup and Kunafeh -- none disappointed - the gyro was extremely good - tasty, and rightly spiced. Overall great experience, it's not your Saturday night date restaurant, it's an everyday family restaurant or your Saturday night drink and chat place!

Mixed grill platter and appetizer platter was enough food for the two of us to have two meals! The mixed grilled meat platter was served over very buttery rice and roasted tomato. The appetizer platter had six dips and we were glad to try all of them. However our favorite was by far the the Lebni - it was out of this world. Also came with some lovely bread.

SUPER RUDE, THIS GUY SHOULD NOT BE A SERVER!

I came here with friends and if the food is okay but the service is terrible like what I just went through you have to post. THE SERVER WAS INCREDIBLY RUDE! HE would get annoyed when we asked for water or more sauce and would say omg really and then we would say what, he would be like nevermind. I worked as a server and there is no reason to have an attitude. Please avoid this place and take your money to anywhere. Service is so important and restaurants close out when they miss this out. PLEASE FIRE THIS GUY, glad I took a picture!!!

We came upon Lokal 83 and were seated at a large table toward the back of this pleasant restaurant. We ordered a family-style meal, sampling many of their dishes. PICK THREE - $27 * Eggplant Salad, Tzatziki, Ajvar ARUGULA & PEAR SALAD - $17 Fresh arugula with thinly sliced pear, walnuts, blue cheese, dried cranberries, olive oil, and honey vinaigrette. AVOCADO & TOMATO SALAD - $17 Fresh tomato, cucumber, red onion, avocado, corn, fresh parsley, tossed with olive oil and lemon juice. MIXED OLIVES - $12 Mediterranean olives mixed with lemon juice, garlic, oregano, chili flakes, and olive oil. CHEESE PASTRIES - $13 Fried, cigar-shaped crispy pastries stuffed with feta cheese and dill. ZUCCHINI PANCAKES - $17 Pan-fried zucchini pancakes served with garlic yogurt sauce. STUFFED GRAPE LEAVES - $14 Grape leaves stuffed with rice, pine nuts, currants, and herbs. I sampled most of the dishes and thought all of the salads were very good, although the pear slices in the Arugula & Pear Salad could have been riper. The Eggplant Salad was really more of a dip than a salad, but it had excellent flavor. The Cheese Pastries were crispy, hot and tasty. The Zucchini Pancakes were bland and would have been better with a more generous serving of the garlic yogurt sauce. Service was good for the most part, though a little spotty at times, especially when it came time to get the check. Overall, this was a solid four-star dining experience. We'd be happy to return.

We were surprised by how lovely the space is since its tucked away in the middle of the block, at the garden level. It really is delightful. I consulted Yelp Assistant for vegan options in the area, and up popped Miriam with a plethora of Mediterranean small plates and I was sold. Since it was a Friday evening, I knew I was taking a chance without a reservation and the place was pretty packed, but there was a small table on the patio available. Since it was a chilly night, the cover was up and I'm sure it's more atmospheric (to match the cute interior) in more agreeable weather, but no matter here because once I tasted that hummus and warm, fresh pita, I really could've been sitting on a curb for all I cared. There's a lot of good hummus to be had in this world, and Miriam's ranks as one of the best I've had. Service was perfection and their wines by the glass are wonderful. I was a bit bummed that I had to make it a quick visit, but I expect that if and when I'm back in this part of town, I will gladly return.
