Cocktails and mocktails
Mark T.

We went with a party of 8 to Betty, Great service, excellent food. The menu changes a bit [every six to nine years I visit!], but the steak frites and the Betty Burger are constants. We had the charcuterie board, a mixed greens salad and the baguette to start. The Charcuterie selection was diverse and our group went nuts over the marcona almonds in particular. The drinks were creative - my favorite is the mocktail named "I'm Fine With Water." CLEVER, Betty! We tried the lasagna, chicken, lamb shank (a highlight), the portobello stroganoff (a noodle dish mostly), and the Betty Burger. The dishes were well-seasoned, the lamb came with a flavorful cauliflower preparation and a yam puree. The portobello stroganoff looked amazing but I didn't get to taste it (insert sad emoji thing). I'll have to come back I guess. I want to try the striped bass too. Another plus: very nice-sized portions. Service by Josh was attentive, and he alerted us to the fact it was pre-tipped because of our party size. Only vexation was the 3% credit card fee, but I guess everyone does it now. Who carries $500 in cash on them? Just pass the cost on via menu prices! But I digress. I'm still very Pro-Betty.

Ribeye Steak with Frites*

Dimly lit with a romantic yet trendy vibe--a great atmosphere overall. The food was good: I had the steak frites, which was flavorful but a bit heavy on the sauce for my taste. My cocktail was strong, though I couldn't really pick up the peach flavor that was mentioned. Still, it's a solid spot in the Queen Anne area and one I'd definitely visit again for the ambiance and overall experience.

Kale Caesar

Delightful place. Nice décor and ambience, simple, with large windows to the street. And staff who obviously love what they do. Delicious pumpkin soup with Worcestershire and balsamic. Kale Caesar was flavorful with anchovy oil and flaked Parmesan. The boar ragu was rich, tender, hearty, and came with a perfect polenta. Really enjoyed our night out here.

Delicious place! Loved the watermelon gazpacho. And the olives are very tasty. Had some good beers on tap and a great cocktail menu.

My wife and I have always loved Betty. The food is spectacular every time, the cocktails are perfection, and the service is ALWAYS top tier. After our small and intimate wedding ceremony, we had our dinner on the back patio. They were a BREEZE to work with in planning this. They made the process simple and stress free, helping us make a reservation in no time. The day of, we brought in a few decorations and they helped us set up, which was so kind. We had a table of 13 people, and our server and host (their names are escaping me at the moment, forgive me) were incredible! Sooooo kind, helpful, and truly made the job look so much easier than it is. Every single one of our guests were blown away with their meals and kept remarking on how wonderful of a time they had at Betty. Our host even added some of our flowers to the side of the cake, which was such a sweet, thoughtful, and lovely touch. My wife and I cannot stop talking about the experience. Thank you to the entire staff who was working that night. Y'all are incredible, every single one of you!!!! You made our special day unforgettable! THANK YOU BETTY!!!

Who deserves 10 stars? The Loupe Lounge does!…read more Here is the story. If you have a long layover you can stay at the airport or you can be a rebel and venture into the city. I am a rebel with a food cause and opted to dine at The Loupe Lounge on my layover. Well, that was the master plan but coming from Maui, there were delays and my little mission was diverted. Abort? Absolutely NOT! Being a SUPER optimistic about everything in life, I rushed to make a 5:30 p.m. reservation at 7:00 p.m. I know, it was pushing it but for $150 a person I did not want this opportunity to go to waste. We arrived at The Space Needle and were whisked up to The Loupe Lounge. The host was not sure if they could still serve us so she rushed to get the manager. She must have gone back to NYC Fashion Week because here comes the manager looking like a whole GQ model, super trendy manager in the house! Well, he accommodated us, very cool of him. You're an Angel cause we were starving! The food was packaged to go, it was so delicious I'm super bummed that we didn't get to experience this in person. It was pretty in a box can't imagine what it would have been like in person! Beggars can't be choosers! The meal was fantastic! Caviar was packaged with ice! How accommodating and it passed TSA. Drinks were amazing and Andrea was the BEST waitress! Lucky we had her! Overall, if I'm back in Seattle this is back on my to-do list! Very cool experience and worth every penny! Honestly pretty cheap considering all you get! The drinks alone were worth it!

The drinks are nothing special and definitely not the highlight, but they get the job done while you take in one of the best panoramas in Seattle. The revolving lounge gives you a full 360-degree view of the city, so every seat feels like the best seat in the house. You can see all of downtown, the Puget Sound, and the peninsula across the water as the floor slowly rotates. It's an easy, relaxed way to take in everything without having to move around. Bottom line: don't come expecting craft-cocktail magic. Come for the incredible views, the unique experience, and the chance to see Seattle from above in a way that never gets old.

The bread tasted homemade ...yeasty, flaky, warm....irresistible! The salad was excellent. The lettuce leaves were all fresh and paired perfectly with the cucumber, feta, bacon and house made dressing. Then we split the smoked pork tenderloin over polenta....the best pork tenderloin I've ever had. Perfect blend of flavors. Also seemed fully house made (which seems so rare anymore ). As with all things lately, prices have gone up on some of their rarer pours. The standard basic cocktails though were still reasonable and decently priced for the location. The atmosphere is great and service was pretty quick. The outdoor patio is still there which was a nice addition from 2019/2020 era. Some of their bourbons are still reasonably priced. Their food is pretty good. Would recommend the tacos, the burger, and carne asada. The nachos were not particularly for me, and also seemed to come out cold. Seemed to have cheese sauce instead of actual cheese. It was a cold day however. This place is mainly great for happy hour after work, but will come back and try dinner another time. Staff is great though. Really quaint and awesome spot to post up. good food, good service, good drinks, good selection, and still better pricing than most bars with what they have to offer. Will be going back again sooner. cheers

(Visiting from Florida)…read more Came here for a Birthday Brunch and enjoyed the tasting/ pairing menu. There was six courses with a cocktail/mini cocktail for each for $60, with the option to add oysters or steak, eggs, bone marrow for additional cost. The drinks were curated by one who was definitely passionate about their craft and the food aligned, as well. The interior was vibey and set up like a lounge, with artist, urban/underground decor from the dining room to the bathroom. The service was the best -- th owner was super kind, welcoming, and had a lot of hospitality. Our server was also super sweet and passionate about the drinks she curated. It wasn't crowded at all on a Sunday for such a deal, so that was a super pleasant surprise, too. The parking is free, but definitely an area in proximity to homeless people but they were kind and minded their business. I also hear they have a night life vibe as well.

I would love to have a nice bar to patronize, but the bar food menu doesn't match bar food vibe. I am curious what dinner would be like here. Whoever owns this bar and whoever is curating this menu is absolutely a music head. No debate. And here's your gentle PSA: please pass that love of music AND hip-hop history to your waitstaff. Because what happened to me... was personal. There are three drinks on the menu that basically scream, "someone in here grew up on hip-hop and never emotionally left the 90s." We've got: ATLiens Aquemini 2 ____ a Butterfly (fill in the blank, but if you know, you KNOW Kendrick Lamar, 2015) Now listen this is not "aqua-mini." This is Outkast. Andre 3000. Big Boi. Southern rap royalty. It is pronounced Ah-kwim-in-eye The waitress looks me dead in my soul and says, "Oh, you mean the Aqua-mini." I was transported out of my body. Now here's the issue: I would've let it go...if a Kendrick Lamar song wasn't also on the menu. Because why are we confidently mispronouncing Outkast while casually referencing Pulitzer-level rap on the same drink list? At that point I realized I was surrounded by people under 34 who had never had to wait for TRL, decode a CD booklet, or defend Southern rap. No one in my group shared my emotional breakdown. Not one gasp. Prices & Drinks (important part): Let's talk about the $18 drink situation. I paid $18 for an Aquemini and received...vibes. Not buzz. At $18, I expect at least a whisper of alcohol. Instead, I got decorative hydration. My husband's Blueberry Smash? Better. More flavor. More personality. So now I'm sitting there thinking: I paid premium pricing for a drink I had to defend and pronounce correctly myself... and still left sober. Food: I was a little hungry and ordered fried shrimp (not on the online menu) The shrimp was fine. Just fine. The dipping sauce tried its best, and I respect that effort. Why is everything either wagyu, mussels, duck, or something you need a culinary degree to pronounce like gruyere but I can't just get a basic bar plate? Wagyu sliders, chicken bites would have been nice because I don't usually go out thinking, "Tonight feels like Wagyu and mussels at the bar." Service: I'm from Los Angeles, so I'm familiar with urban sketchy with a side of vibes. The activities near the parking spaces was very sketch. I was with a group of 8, including my husband so I felt protected by numbers. Inside, it was a Friday night but surprisingly empty. The music was loud enough to feel like a party, but quiet enough that you could still hear each other. We tried to rearrange seating to accommodate our group and the waitress said "I'm not walking around you, so keep this aisle clear." Which was fair, but also, there are gentler ways to say "I need this walkway." Or tell us the better way to set up seating in the empty bar. I didn't have a second drink frankly because I was never asked. Most places I go the waitress will come and ask if I want another drink. I don't live in Seattle, so this was my intro to night time bar life in the city. Sleepless in Seattle? I think in 2026 it's more like Sleepy in Seattle by looking at the emptiness.
