It's pretty crunchy and a little hard to bite into, so don't be surprised if you leave with the roof of your mouth feeling scratched up. They also give you a little chocolate chip cookie with your sandwich, and that thing was pretty damn good. It's a nice little bonus. Overall, this is a really good sandwich shop with quality ingredients and good portions of meat. The prices are a little on the higher side, but it's definitely worth checking out if you're in Chandler.

Very busy new coffee shop here in South Tempe. Double drive thru lane that definitely fills up, but moves twice as fast as the lines at Dutch Bros. There were probably 20 cars in front of me when I got in line and I was still out in less than 10 minutes. The person outside taking my order was friendly and knowledgeable, gave me some great recommendations... (the Pumpkin Cold Brew was delicious!)... and the person at the window was just as friendly and even got me a pup cup for my dog that came with a little bone treat. Had a great stop at Better Buzz Coffee today. Tried the Better Breakfast sandwich and the Banana Best drink and both absolutely delivered. The sandwich was hot, fresh, and actually filling without feeling too heavy. The Banana Best was smooth, creamy, and one of those drinks you keep thinking about after you leave. The team was friendly, the store had a great vibe, and everything came out quickly even during a busy rush. Definitely one of my favorite Better Buzz locations in the Valley right now. read more

They even have a printer available which is a huge plus for people here working. My sandwich arrived on bread that wasn't even toasted, with a mountain of mayo and what seemed like just enough turkey to legally call it a turkey sandwich. You know there's too much mayo when you take one bite and the entire sandwich explodes, sending the fixings straight to the floor. At that point, I wasn't sure if I ordered a turkey sandwich or a mayo sandwich with a turkey garnish. My wife said her Spicy Chicken Melt was okay, but nothing special. Certainly not something she'd go out of her way to order again. The real kicker? $34 for two sandwiches and one Diet Coke. For that price, I expect a decent sandwich, not a mayonnaise disaster held together by a few slices of turkey. My $9 sandwich ended up exactly where it belonged--in the garbage. We've enjoyed Renegade's breakfast before, but after this lunch experience, I think we'll stick to the memories of better meals.
