$8.99 yogurt bowl was just Greek yogurt with a sliced strawberry and 4 blueberries, standard granola all drizzled with honey and served with a black plastic spoon. I definitely felt like I could have/should have made it at home. It did not have honey comb despite the menu listing honey comb. The rewards program is a free coffee after 100 points ($1=1point) but only if you download their app. So at this price only nine more visits and I'll get a free drink. Their canned energy drinks contain 53g (12 teaspoons) sugar per can which is twice the recommended limit for one whole day. Generic looking pastry case. Nice outdoor patio tho. read more

I get the Yogurt parfait very often, and almost every time they forget the honeycomb pieces, which is the main reason I get it from Better Buzz. I could make the yogurt bowl myself at home with the other ingredients, and get it specifically for the honeycomb. I've been very disappointed when they hadn't included it at all, and with very little honey most of the times I've gotten it. I wish a staff would have informed me they were out of honeycomb, so that I wouldn't waste my money. Otherwise, I get the Best Drink Ever and they make that great every time. I will stop ordering the yogurt bowl since they can't seem to get it right. read more

This location seems to have an issue with having both lanes for their drive through. Every time I have been to this location it seems one lane is being attended to while the other is not but there is nothing blocking the second lane from being used. We sat in the far lane for the time it took to get 4 cars orders in the closer lane before someone inside either put on their headset or turned up the volume to realize someone was waiting. When they finally acknowledged us there wasn't an apology or even a cheerful tone just seemed like overall irritated. The experience didn't get any better at the window as there were 2 workers at the window when we pulled up tha were talking and then walked away without saying a word and it took a few minutes before anyone came back to acknowledge us or let us pay for our one drink. I normally try to give coffee shops the benefit of the doubt but this one just seems to keep dropping the ball with service. read more

Oh man I was SO stoked to stop on my way to the east valley for a Hazelnut Divinity and it was honestly so good! Better Buzz being in Arizona has been such an exciting thing because it's absolutely one of our stops every time we head to SoCal, so now having one in our own backyard is amazing :) Today when I went into the store, Kaley helped me, and not only was she suuuper knowledgeable about everything BB offers but she also gave me a complete run down on BB's newest drinks & food AND helped me know what I can & can't have due to my list of food allergies! Customer service was great. But the Better Breakfast sandwich I asked to be on a croissant which both ends were hard and I couldn't eat and was supposed to come with Arugula and came with none. The building is cute and the inside is sleek with a small selection beans and novelty items. There is a decent amount of seating with plugs available plus a self serve water station. I hate to do this but after paying $16+ for two large iced drinks, I really wanted to be "wow'd" and I just was not. It was a Saturday around 230pm when I pulled into the drive thru. When I pulled up to the ordering mic, the ladies forgot to turn off the mic and we were listening to their chit chat. No problem. The young woman comes on and says "hi, have you been helped?" I reply "no, not yet." She says something along the lines of, are you a rewards member and what is your name. I say no and give her my name. There is a bit of silence and then she comes back on and says "what is your name?" I literally had just said my name 10-15 sec prior so I was like, hmmm, ok. I then repeat my name and finally order our two drinks. Large iced pumpkin latte, no modifications. Large iced chai tea latte, add horchata. I pull up to window and the gentleman helping me was very nice. While waiting in line I realized I had the app and gave him my phone number for my order to get my points added. Again, very sweet and helpful. He handed me the two drinks and off we go. The PSL - tasted very much like coffee and milk. Very minimal pumpkin flavor. I was pretty disappointed. The chai tea latte with horchata- my wife spit it out. Come to find out it was an iced horchata latte, add chai. And she doesn't drink coffee (hence the spit out). We found the sticker placed on the drink when it was handed to us, which read the order and confirmed it was an iced horchata, add chai not the other way around like we ordered. We were already on our way, in the opposite direction so I didn't turn around to make it right. I really should have though. I get the place is new and mistakes happen, but it's just frustrating. I am always looking for new coffee spots to try, so it is hard to stand out because I've tried so many. This spot is incredible. Their drinks are outstanding. Coffees and teas, you dont need to touch them or personalize them they are already perfect as is. It is already a favorite spot that I go out of my way to visit as often as I can now, even though theres handfuls of coffee places on the way to it from my house. My favorite if you need a recommendation is their iced Lavendar tea latte. And get a large. Youll be sad if you dont! HAHA! read more

I cannot believe that they opened without knowing how to make drinks efficiently, and from the chattiness of the window clerk with the car in front of me they seem blissfully unaware of how bad this is. Updating my review from a 1 to a 3 star. Still don't recommend to order a coffee drink here but the sandwiches are worth a stop. Today I finally got the better breakfast. It was great and I got it piping hot. I grabbed a turkey pesto for lunch and it was ok as is. Next time I would have them add arugula to it and maybe that'll spice it up. The wrong sandwich (bacon ciabatta) I got last time while not what I ordered was pretty darn good. Kudos to the management for a classy and quick reply to my tough review. Gotta respect that. I didn't know what to expect. I'm currently boycotting Starbucks and try to keep it to local and small business! We had matcha on the brain. Walked in and was greeted with friendly faces. The cashier even walked me through how the rewards program works. The picture of the açaí bowl I couldn't resist! Sometimes pictures are staged and the food in real life is lackluster! Certainly not the case here, it was beautiful and delicious. Also the fact that everything was ready so fast, but still high presentation and quality. I spoke to the manager as she actually handed us our drinks ( unlike some places your name is butchered and no one makes that connection). This one stings, because we did not have a good first impression. We went in at 7:20pm on July 5th (they close at 8) we were not acknowledged or greeted, and the two staff working were sweeping and cleaning, appearing to be more in a rush to get out then to take our order. We stood for about 6 minutes (with no one else in the store ordering) until we got the hint from staff that they did not want to help us/take our order and should leave. My gut tells me that if we did wait longer for service, the drinks would have been rushed and low quality due to how uninterested staff seemed to be. I get it's a Saturday night and staff probably want to go home, but there was still plenty of time until close and it left such a bad first impression to be completely ignored when you walk in excited to try out the new coffee shop in town. When we walked out back to our car empty handed, there was another man in the parking lot, who observed the same treatment and sarcastically said "seems like they're pretty busy huh?" He was also ignored and had walked out too. We were shocked to hear it wasn't just us! Not a good look. read more

Had the opportunity to go yesterday for the first time. The aesthetic is nice and the environment was "buzzing." The staff was very nice and very quick. I ordered an Acai smoothie which was just the right thickness and tasted really good. Will definitely come back again and try other things on the menu. read more
