I stopped in for a chai tea latte and saw that BB has horchata- BET! So I just told them I wanted the horchata instead of the milk. But I think the barista must have originally heard me ask for oat milk and said he would put both in there. The drink was so good, I went back a few weeks later, and Im not a huge coffee shop gal so that says alot. They also serve some light bites and have other little goodies and merch inside. read more

I love Better Buzz and when I saw this location was open I had to stop and check it out. I opted for the drive thru today since I was in a bit of a hurry. Service was quick and friendly. I love their cold brew so I chose their cinnamon cold foam. So tasty! I also picked up a yogurt bowl which was delicious, it had the perfect fruit, granola ratio with the Greek yogurt. Okay so I have to talk about this because it honestly made my whole week. I stopped by Better Buzz after lunch with some friends one day to grab something for myself and to bring my super picky mom a mid day coffee (risky, I know lol). She is so particular about her coffee to the point where after one sip she'll usually say it's too sweet or too much water or whatever. Honestly I didn't expect her to like it. After telling the girl on headset what my mom usually gets at other places I grabbed her a zucchini walnut loaf and a large Best Drink Ever but no water and extra ice (shoutout to the super nice barista who helped me customize it ), and she LOVEDDD it. Like actually finished the whole drink and then asked me IF I COULD GET HER ANOTHER ONE TOMORROW I thought she was joking. She wasn't. I've now been going back every single day this week because she's obsessed I've also been inside a couple of times and it's always super clean and I've never had any issues with the bathroom which is huge for me. What really stood out to me though was how sweet the staff was. I was kind of confused and unsure what to get at first, but the girl at the speaker was SO nice and patient. She walked me through a few options and even shared her favorite way to order the Best Drink Ever (which is now our go to lol). Everyone there just had the best energy like they actually enjoy being there and talking to customers. It made my whole interaction feel relaxed and easy, which you don't always get at busy coffee spots. Anyway. If you're a fellow student looking for a new go to spot, or if you're just trying to impress a high maintenance coffee drinker in your life (lol), Better Buzz is the place. Terrible service is unbelievable how bad the employees are and also the management Curtis choosing to not deal with his employees and basically give me the impression " I don't give a f" I went in for a month 5 days a week because is very close to my home! But every single day I had to ask for a stopper some days they will give me the coffee hot without that paper protection.. and I get it!!! It happens sometimes to forget I do understand that. RUDE EMPLOYEE!!!!!! June 7th around 1:30pm a male employee took my order but I couldn't hear what he was saying very well so I nicely asked what he said 2x and thanked him. As I was driving away I could hear him still talking through the mic to one of his coworkers saying, "Jesus Christ did you hear that lady?" And then said something along the lines of me not being able to hear him. If you're going to trash talk about a customer to your coworkers, at least mute your mic first! So freaking rude. My iced latte was good. The service? OMG! Arrived at the drive-thru at 9:15AMish (not exactly peak time). Had a great time at the grand opening. Waited in the drive thru and got a free hat and cup since I was one of the first 200 people. They also handed out stickers. Shoutout to the guy at the window who gave me a free pin, he was extremely kind!! I tried the iced lavender tea latte and the iced Moroccan spice latte. I like the lavender one better, it's sweet but not too sweet and I can really taste the lavender flavoring. Make sure to shake/swirl the Moroccan spice before trying it because I didn't like the flavor on the initial sip but after I mixed it up, it tasted better. I wished I could taste a bit more spice or sweetener in that drink though since it's one of their handcrafted beverages. The Bacon Ciabatta sandwich is amazing and probably my favorite item I got today. I'd say pricing on all items is pretty standard and comparable to other coffee shops. I had a good experience today and all the employees were nice. I'd love to come back and try more things on the menu, especially the pastries (which aren't mentioned on the website fyi), but they have a lotttt of different pastries available that sound delicious. Sadly I couldn't go inside today but I would love to try the cafe experience next time too. read more

Went to better buzz for the first time this morning. I know nothing about the brand, but saw their new store and their sign says coffee roasters. The inside and outside of the store had a cool vibe. The menu had a large verity of flavored drinks, but I'm an old school tradition coffee drinker, so I asked for their largest size traditional cold brew coffee black, no sugar, which was ~$6.50. The lid was loose when the server handed it to me, I get it, it happens. Then I noticed the size of the cup was maybe 24oz, then with the short pour they gave me, maybe it I got 18oz. Then I took a sip and was immediately annoyed that I paid a $1 more than a Starbucks trenta cold brew, for a coffee that had zero flavor. Sadly, this is a one and done for me. read more

I really tried to like this place, I did. But from my very first visit, it was a mess. The drive-thru employee was rude, my drink order was wrong, and to make things worse, they got my food order wrong too -- despite me clearly saying no egg due to an allergy. They still put egg on it, and when I brought it up, I was treated like I was the problem. On top of that - you can't even hear the employees on the speaker. Please fix this! The pricing here is absolutely insane. I paid $19 for a sandwich and a drink -- and neither were good. That alone should have been my sign to never go back. But the next day, desperate for coffee and thinking maybe it was just a one-off, I gave it another shot since it's within walking distance. Huge mistake. My iced coconut latte was watery, and to top it off, I was charged twice. I brought it up at the window and was told I wasn't -- but sure enough, 72 hours later, the second charge posted. I paid a total of $18 This place is overpriced, disorganized, and seriously lacking in customer service. They need new management and a total reset. I won't be back, and I won't be recommending this place to anyone. Truly disappointed. read more

my new favorite location! so happy they opened this tempe location so it's a shorter drive than the phoenix one! but all amazing things here - everything is so good. i ordered a cold brew with white chocolate and hazelnut with cream - my go-to every time. my favorite sandwich is the bacon ciabatta sandwich - the chipotle aioli is the bomb! the staff were so friendly here and i can't wait to work here sometimes during the day. this location has a decent inside area to work from and they also have a nice big patio as well. ambiance is fun and the noise is average! but thank you better buzz for opening this location; by far my favorite!! read more
