I'm a bit disappointed. My old go-to location in Temecula was amazing. I was all too happy when this location popped up because it is closer to home. However, this last time I was in was probably the worst. To get to the point of this review and make a long story short, after ordering a head of time, we went inside to pick up our order. None of the 4 drinks were ready, at first I thought, okay no big deal-we just went back to the car and continued to wait thinking maybe they were just a little behind. I mean, they were a little busy. It wasn't until about 30 minutes after the order was placed that they were ready. Yes, I said that right-30 minutes. Keep in mind, the 4 drinks were right off the menu-no-big-frills, except for alternative milk to be added to 2 of the drinks. Each of the drinks didn't even come out together. The first 2 drinks came out about 5 minutes apart from each other. And the last 2 drinks were ready together-10 minutes later and by that time, the ice was already melting in the first 2! This probably sounds confusing because it was confusing. How does a single order of 4 drinks take 30 minutes to make?? It's probably counter-productive and just dumb to not complete 1 order all at the same time or at least close together, but who am I to say. Anyway, it seems this location will probably have a bunch of pissed off customers if this continues to happen. Please get it together! read more

I actually parked here as I was heading to a graduation at Surfside Academy down the street so I stopped in afterwards to check it out. The place is vibrant and the decor is bright and cheerful. The staff was okay, friendly enough. I ordered a Vanilla Bean Latte with almond milk. It seemed to take a long time considering I was the only person waiting but it gave me time to take some pictures! The latte was nothing special and tasted more like a regular vanilla latte than vanilla bean. For $8, I would've expected a little more. read more

absolutely LOVE this place. workers were nice and loved how the place was decorated. loved my drinks as well, only thing i'd recommend is if you don't have a sweet tooth then ask for a lower sweetness level since both drinks were pretty sweet (but i like that so it was fine by me LOL). Coffee (americano iced) tastes burnt, yogurt bowl was only half full this morning. $30 some bucks for 3 coffees and a bowl of yogurt. 2 drinks were thrown out and couldn't be enjoyed due to burnt taste. Been to Oceanside location twice this week as well as also once to Encinitas and Escondido. Oceansides location is not even comparable to the others. Love betterbuzz bc when it's good, it's good. When it's not, it's a bummer, I'll avoid this location moving forward. Customer service there is basically like everywhere these days, bare minimum. The staff is so ditsy, they are so inefficient. Grand opening today and we happened by after having a coffee at another location early in the morning. Always a great stop, this happened to be extra special due to the circumstances. We were enthusiastically greeted and made our way to the counter. For a grand opening, everyone seemed on point and knew what they were doing. Great job management team on that aspect. Ordered an apple tart and medium roast large black coffee. My wife and son had mint infused iced coffee and a honey latte'. On this part, from the checkout to the pick up, all employees were in sync, happy, and making it happen. Great job on this aspect people, you made the experience perfect. Everything was great, the apple tart was so good that I ate it before I took a picture of it, sorry. As for the rest, excellent, their medium roast is smooth as butter. We were even given black better buzz cups as a parting gift. As a visitor from Hawaii here to attend a graduation, I can only hope we are soon to see some better buzzing on Oahu. Unfortunately the new Better Buzz was disappointing. I ordered a hot Matcha and a "pop tart" warmed up. They didn't know the flavor of the pop tart and asked me to tell them what it was. Strange but not a huge deal. Then I noticed how many people were working- at least 10. Again not incredibly unimaginable since they just opened a few weeks ago and possibly still training. But then my drink took 7 minutes- no one was in line ahead of me meanwhile the majority of workers stood around chatting-not making drinks. When my drink was finally ready they forgot the pop tart I'd ordered and didn't warm it up when I kindly reminded them what I'd ordered. I don't mind a business being in the beginning phases but in my opinion at least offer discounts, a free something or incentive to spend time and money there. The matcha wasn't great, wouldn't order that there again. My advice is stick to our locally owned mom and pop shops that get it right, have delicious beverages and food and that need and deserve our business! read more

I am so disappointed at this new location in Oceanside, on Coast Highway. First, the coffee was warm at most, not hot at all. Then, I'm not sure if it's only in this location but the music was super loud, and the bathroom is not clean, plus there is no hangers for purses in ghe bathroom (where do you put them, in the dirty floor?) and the hand dryer was not working. It's not going to survive in this area, we have some great small coffee shops! read more

I have always loved BB but having to drive to San Marcos made it only a treat but now that it's in Oside I get to come more often. I came in to try out the new location. I ordered an iced matcha latte. It came out quick. It was okay, really sweet and not what I was hoping for taste wise. It looked dark green in the pictures but mine was a very light milky green color. When I walked in the workers were playing music extremely loud and multiple of them yelling "welcome" at me and other customers. When I say yelling, I mean YELLING. I was so stressed out and overstimulated. This was in the morning. I was ordering my drink and the cashier didn't really know what he was doing and seemed overwhelmed too. Crap service. We waited for about 10 minutes just to order. 2 of our 4 drinks were made and we waited an additional 10 minutes to get our two drinks remaining. When I went up to ask the drinks were sitting there for his knows how long and they did not call our name. And the drinks tasted like crap. Will never go to this spot again. Over priced crap. Today was the preview to the grand opening for tomorrow the 27th. I had a Hazelnut Divinity and it was truly divine. Sweet creamy and nutty it was absolutely delicious. I also had the better breakfast it had an egg, havarti, bacon, arugula, garlic aioli on a brioche bun absolutely satisfying and delicious. I also tried the cream cheese bar warmed up and it was perfect, creamy center and flaky crust. The acai bowl was a healthier choice full of fruit, granola, strawberry, banana, coconut shavings and drizzled with . Also I shared all this with a friend we had a great time.
