Service is great, they make sure that you get what you want. They're very efficient and your get your coffee quickly! What I ordered: Best Drink Ever: Okay, it intrigued me, so I had to try it. Classic Americano + Signature Creamy Vanilla. No actual milk in this drink, but oh my goodness, this was amazing. The vanilla isn't overly sweet and a great complement to the Americano. Snickerdoodle: Hot or Iced, this is really a comforting cinnamon latte. This is one of those drinks I'd just want to really end my work day with. Hand Pie: Chorizo, Bacon, Potato, and cheese. This is a great little meal, or a big snack, you definitely taste bacon, and the chorizo and cheese are really nice complements with it. Definitely great if you need a savory kick. Apple Pie Pocket: A fun little pie, basically like a giant toaster strudel that they make in house. It's that great, "You want a pie on the go? Here it is!" type feeling. One could definitely chalk this rating up to a bad pick on my part. It's a coffee place, after all. But really, all drinks on the menu should be decent to some degree. The Prickly in Pink Pear Mojito missed the mark for me. Aside from being overly sweet, the true Achilles' heel of this drink is its artificial flavor. Prickly pear I tasted naught; a sickening bubblegum flavor lay in its stead. The Hazelnut Delight was pretty good, but it was also pretty sweet. The drinks came out pretty fast, but our food took a while. At least it was hot when it arrived. Both the Turkey Pesto and the Chili Crunch Breakfast Wrap were... good. Ok. Ok, leaning on good. Fine, leaning on good. Super basic, but well done. A+ in a non-honors class. I would maybe grab it again if I was in a hurry... actually no maybe not because it takes kinda long. I actually did really like the flavors of the Chili Crunch Breakfast Wrap, but I just wish there was a little more of the chili crunch. It's more of a whisper of chili crunch if anything. The inside was quite crowded for a Tuesday afternoon. People take up whole tables with laptop setups that imply that they're going to be "working from home" from 9 to 5. The coffeeshop was so loud that I could barely hear the cashier as I went to place my order, or the employees call my name when my drinks were ready. Honestly, the operation also seemed pretty disorganized, with drink orders coming out incomplete and out of sequence. I also think the employees should be cleaning the tables more often, because when my friend and I were trying to choose a table to sit at, every remaining table was dirty and we had to wipe it down ourselves. I ordered the snickerdoodle latte, which is made with Monin's spiced brown sugar syrup, and a lavender lemonade refresher. The latte was underwhelming and the espresso seemed to be on the weaker side. The refresher was pretty good though - tart, sweet, and a little bubbly. This is a nice trendy coffee shop, but it didn't really make a huge impression. I mobile ordered my drink, and I felt like it took forever, luckily I wasn't in a rush. I thought my hazelnut latte was just okay and it's really cold inside. The only open seats were on a hard wooden booth-style bench and I was not comfortable. I had been eyeing this coffee shop for weeks until I finally stopped to sample their seasonal drinks. I chose the pumpkin cold brew with 1/4 sweetness. My daughter tried the iced pumpkin chai and immediately stated it was one of the best chais she's ever had (she's brutally honest). Their pistachio croissant was warm, crispy, and savory. Hi, ok why the heck is the banana pudding coffee so good?!! Their Açaí bowls are really good too! Their ham and cheese croissant was good and their pastries are all yummy too!! Service is good and ambiance is nicer than most coffee shops. I think Starbucks is going down.... I also like that they have a drive through! There are so many coffee places to choose from, but this place has to be one of my top 5!! Side note, I wish they would clean this area up more.... As someone who used to live in San Diego, I was excited to hear that they opened a Better Buzz location in Fullerton. I came to study for a few hours and enjoyed the atmosphere. Although it was a cold and rainy day, the cafe was lively with people coming in & out, or doing work. There was plenty of seating but beware of coming during a rush, all the seats were taken at one point. I got the Hazelnut Divinity at full sweetness because it was my first time ordering it & I wanted to try it as is. However, it was way too sweet for my liking. I asked the baristas if I could add some milk or purchase another shot and they kindly made me another drink right away. At 50% sweet, it was perfect. Great customer service and good ambience. I love how this coffee shop is so close to my home. It can get a little loud depending on the day or the crowd, but overall it's a great spot to hang out or have a mini study session with a friend. If you want something less sweet you should just go for the best drive ever without an any adjustments. You can't go wrong with this gem I haven't been inside I always do drive through and they have a points system so eventually we end up getting free drinks from how much we go. When I was vacationing in SD, I went to better buzz every day because it was that good. I finally got the chance to try the one in Fullerton and it was just as good! I came on a Saturday morning and there plenty of seats and table still available. There are constantly people walking in to order so it was pretty loud. I ordered the Best drink ever and it was just as good as I remember. I also didn't know that it's dairy free! I was pretty bummed when I found out their wifi was down. I drove 30 minutes to study here and this was pretty disappointing. They do however have outlets at every table which I really appreciated. This place is new and definitely popping. Came on Sunday late morning and it was very busy. The line was pretty long but moved fairly quickly. The service was great, the cashier answered my questions since it was my first time. They also brought 2 of the items I ordered to the table. I had the "best drink ever" which was good, not out of this world, but a solid choice which I would get again. It reminded me of Philz. My husband got a snickerdoodle latte which was extremely sweet and he said he would not get it again. To eat I tried the ham and cheese croissant which was good. We also tried the donut holes, which are custard filled. Not too sweet so I liked them. Inside the place is very cute, with lots of cute merchandise available for purchase. This particular location is brand new, and it's hard to tell if the busyness was because it just opened and will eventually die down a bit, or if this will always be as crazy as it is now. Right now I would say not the best place to chill or remote work. I prefer coffee shops a bit more slower paced. Stopped by Better Buzz in Fullerton after a funny encounter with Fullerton PD, the officer gave me a $10 gift card because I was "nice," which was a first for me! I ordered the Better Breakfast Sandwich and substituted the bacon for avocado. It came out to about $11 and was fresh, filling, and really hit the spot. The flavors were solid and it felt like a good quality breakfast option. The only downside was the parking situation, which felt a bit disorganized and made stopping in slightly less convenient. Nevertheless, I would love to try a regular cappuccino next time to really taste the espresso. The mocha was more of a nostalgic drink. The space is very big and nice for working.
