I got one of their breakfast sandwiches for the first time (bacon egg and cheese) and it was DELICIOUS! I got their matcha latte. My mom got the pistacio croissant and a honey latte. We were long overdue for a new coffee shop in this part of fullerton. I was very happy to see the south Oc OG coffee shop Better buzz took over. I have to admit I was treading muddy waters by deciding to visit their grand opening weekend. I can happily say that the folks at better buzz not only anticipated the rush but they were staffed and prepared. Better buzz handled the rush with such ease it probably should be studied. Our menu items that we ordered were, breakfasts waffle sandwiches, better breakfast, iced hazelnut divinity and bursting blue raspberry. Not only did our orders come out in a timely manor but we were able to find some seats to sit down and enjoy our breakfast. Also the way they transformed this old Burger King was great, it was a really good vibe with a lot of space with outdoor seating and of course accompanying their own customer better buzz play mix that was keeping everything buzz worthy. I absolutely loved both breakfast options, the waffle sandwich was thick smoked bacon with scrambled eggs all tucked between a thick sweet toasted waffle. But not to our shine my favorite of the two. I love a sando that's on brioche buns, it automatically gets a higher rating in my book, but this sandwich was with thick smoked bacon, fresh arugula eggs and a perfectly toasted brioche bun. I didn't realize how early they open WOW!! I was going to say I wished they were open a little later in the evening. Ok, let's start by saying the first time I was introduced to Better Buzz was when I was on a weekend getaway to San Diego. We'd only visit Better Buzz when we traveled down south. I was so happy to find out in January they opened one "in my own backyard" (that's an amazing podcast series, go listen to it). My friend and I, or only I have been to this location many times. I love it! There's plenty of parking for both your cars and your bodies. The space it huge, but can get very very crowded. They play all sorts of amazing music. Sometimes I catch myself having a singalong, much to the chagrin of my neighbors. There are two very clean bathroom. You need a code to get in. The service is great. Even at the drive-thru. Everyone has always been so welcoming. They even gave me free stickers once. The coffee has always been so yummy. I ALWAYS get the Snickerdoodle Latte. It's yummy. Once in the drive-thru, I accidentally ordered a Horchata Latte (get those at Tierra Mia). I didn't really care for that. I thought it was just ok. BUT that was my mistake. I'm not a big pastry fan. So I haven't ordered pastries. I've orders a turkey pesto sandwich, it's good . I just don't like to order sandwiches when I can make them at home. I've gotten two of their bowls and they are HUGE! Get them to go. Once I ordered one I couldn't finish. I had to throw it out because I wasn't going home. I had NO idea how big it was going to be. Truly a great shop! It's so nice when employees get to know their customers. My hubby and I sometimes have gone weeks without going maybe even like a three month period and the manager, Ryan, immediately recognized us and asked where we had been. And they always greet you the moment you walk in and out the door as well. Customer service is top notch! And honestly I've never had any issues with any order. If I had anything negative to say it would just be that the music can be a little bit loud sometimes on the weekend afternoon but it's not to where it would stop me from visiting. Came at 5:30am on a Sunday. Door was locked, but they were so sweet and apologetic. It's neat that they have a drive-thru and that they're open so early daily. Came here for their new summer line up, and we were able to try the Coconut Matcha, Coconut "best drink ever" (kinda crazy for a name), and the Tropical Buzz. We also had their OG Deluxe Acai Bowl. The space is huge, and it was very crowded which is always a good sign. Staff was very friendly, everyone was so welcoming. The coffee was solid, I'm not a big coconut guy (just big) but honestly I didn't mind the coconut matcha, nothing was too overpowering and it tasted refreshing. If I had to rank them it'd be the Coco Matcha, Tropical Buzz, Coco best drink ever. The Acai Bowl was also good, full of flavor and did not feel too heavy. They had indoor and outdoor seating, inside was packed out and they have pretty comfortable seating outside too in case you want to catch a cool breeze. I had such a great experience at Better Buzz! Ryan helped me out and recommended the Moroccan Spice Latte after I told him I love chai and horchata. He described it perfectly; warm notes of nutmeg and unique spices I've never even heard of, all blended together into something absolutely delicious. The staff here are so kind! Liz was also super sweet! :) We chatted it up after she gave me my coffee, and it really made the visit feel even more welcoming. The cafe itself is definitely my new study spot. There are plenty of outlets, lots of seating, and the vibe is immaculate, I could stay here for hours!! On a hot summer day, it was so nice to walk into a cool, cozy space that made me want to grab my laptop and settle in. This place is popping! I stopped by this coffee shop to get some food, coffee, and work done. Staff seemed friendly and polite as they yell out in unison "welcome in" for customers. I also saw one staff dedicated to clean each table as soon as customers left, something that is lacking in many cafe establishments. The line to order was not decreasing so I just sat down and opted for online order. I got their limited time Ube Cold Brew and also got their Better Breakfast. Ube Cold Brew was disappointing for me because it tasted like berries and tasted nothing like ube. The drink was sour and tart, not sure if from the coffee itself or the ube cream/syrup. At first, I thought I received the wrong order. Better Breakfast was good but didn't seem that special for me despite it having the cafe's name. The garlic aioli was light and I didn't really taste much of it, making the sandwich a bit bland. Overall experience this time around was lackluster but I'm definitely going to revisit to try their other coffee and sandwiches. Stopped by Better Buzz in Fullerton after a funny encounter with Fullerton PD, the officer gave me a $10 gift card because I was "nice," which was a first for me! Today was the 3rd time IN A ROW they forget my Cinnamon Cold Foam. TODAY was also the last time I come here. It's become ridiculous bcuz out of the row of drinks, everyone else has cold Foam except mine. I paid attention today. In the past I've had to get out of my car & go inside to inform them. Today I informed the drive thru windows cashier gal that I was missing my cold foam before even being handed the drink... She takes a look, tells the baristas. So what they do to correct it is remove HALF of the shots of expresso to accommodate the cold foam. In turn, I lose out on my expresso which is what I need!!! I didn't want to hold up the line while she tried to make a decision. So, we went inside and just as I thought, she was a bit overwhelmed. So many good options. We ordered our drinks, and while we waited I shared with her some of my favs, and the Avocado Toast is my hands down favorite. You can add bacon or egg if you want, but the bread, avocado,cherry tomatoes,feta cheese, microgreens and balsamic vinegar is so good, I advise you not try to eat this while driving. I like to try new places so I went here today. This used to be a Carl's Jr. so it wasn't improvement from the beginning. I love lattes so I wanted to try it. I asked for a latte with half-and-half with one Splenda in it when I got the drink the girl said latte for me. She also comments that we don't put package sweeteners in our drinks. It's over there on the counter.
