We stopped by after being at the fair all day. We didn't get coffee or any food at the fair. For years I had only been to Better Buzz when I could visit San Diego. We haven't been to San Diego in years. So, I was delighted to learn they are bringing Better Buzz to Orange County. I've been to the Fullerton location many times. I got a special drink called the best raspberry drink (I think that's the name) and it was delicious. My buddy for a super sized Matcha with coconut milk. I'm not a fan of Matcha but this was delicious. The indoor seating is very limted. There were only a few people in the coffee shop. It's much smaller than the Fullerton location. They only have one bathroom. This could be a problem during busy times. The bathroom was clean. Everyone was very sweet. I didn't know what type of drink I was getting. He took the time to explain it to me. The drinks were ready quickly. A man came in to pick up a mobile order. They were taking a bit of time on it and they offered him a pastry. Cute new coffee spot in town. They actually have açaí bowl and good food here too! Servers knew what to get for first timers like me. The cold brew has a bit of a cinnamon cream, and their "best coffee ever" is creamy and delicious! Spacious to grab a seat and catch up with a friend or do work here. It was just okay/meh to me. Was looking for a spot to do some work and get some coffee in the morning. Better Buzz according to my girlfriend is from San Diego and they opened up a shop in Costa Mesa, so we checked it out. Right when you walk in, you are welcomed with some up beat/slightly loud music and bright lights, which is not the most ideal for a workspace. We ordered the wrap and breakfast sandwich. To say the least, it was underwhelming. The wrap listed chili crisp aioli, but it was practically non-existent. Hash brown was warm but lacked crunch and texture. My girlfriend's better breakfast sandwich was decent and she enjoyed it. As for the coffee, Best Drink Ever, might be if you never had vanilla creamer. Large parking lot that is shared with other shops around, you won't have trouble finding a spot. read more

Just visited today! Not bad for a Sunday morning. The line was a bit long inside but it went quickly. The space is large and they have many employees working to keep service up to par. My daughter enjoyed the açaí smoothie and I really liked the vanilla latte with almond milk and sf vanilla. They played good music and had a lot of I door and outdoor seating! I had the mocha de Mexico which was delicious, creamy and perfect blend of cinnamon, chocolate (think Abuelita Chocolate) and coffee. The hubby had a drip which he described as a smooth medium roast coffee. We split the chocolate-walnut cookie and danish. Both were quite good. We've loved Better Buzz ever since a friend introduced us to it in San Diego, and am so happy now that there's one in Costa Mesa! Finally got a chance to visit and we tried: Moroccan Spice Iced Coffee: The hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove were nice, but I found myself wishing for just a bit more! Still enjoyed this iced coffee though. Best Drink Ever (Hot): Happy to report I loved it just as much as I love the iced version - both so creamy and delicious. It lives up to its name! Better Breakfast (Sandwich): Egg, Bacon, Havarti Cheese, Arugula, and Garlic Aioli on a soft bun. This was super tasty and I'd recommend asking for extra garlic aioli because it was so delicious and goes great with the rest of the ingredients! 3 Seed Avocado Toast: Multigrain Bread Toasted with Butter, Avocado, Chili Onion Flake, 3 Seed Mix and Microgreens with Lemon. This was a good if somewhat mild avocado toast. I would also ask for extra chili onion flakes and salt to give it a bit more flavor. Service was prompt and friendly and ambiance is casual. I'm so so happy that Better Buzz has been opening up more locations all around SoCal. This would be my spot every time I went to SD and now I can just get it locally 10 mins away? YES PLS! Better Buzz is a coffee chain that is delicious. Better Buzz was located in various locations in San Diego. Steven was a bigger fan than I was and loved to stop in one whenever we were in the San Diego area. I don't remember what I had the first time but I thought it was okay. Another time we tried to order white mochas in the app in advance but it errored out and when Steven went back, there may have been an oversight and we ended up with regular mochas. I thought it was okay that time also but I may have just been annoyed because we waited a good twenty five minutes to get mobile order drinks. Steven said they kept shifting our cups farther down as in person orders came. I don't know if that was a Better Buzz issue or the staff at that location. Other coffee shops place online orders at the current place in line and shift it down, or have people dedicated to those orders. Fast forward a few months and Steven saw that they opened a Costa Mesa location. We stopped by and both ordered iced white mochas. The cashier was very friendly and helpful and even informed us that they were expanding in Fullerton, Orange, and Santa Ana! Great news! It seems that Better Buzz is expanding in the OC with a vengeance. They do ask a lot of questions up front such as are you ordering food? Using the app? Etc. their pastries and food are enormous. I may have to get one someday if I'm very hungry. The iced white mocha was delicious! They have officially converted me into being a big fan, especially when we went back a week later and I tried the seasonal iced peppermint white mocha. Tasty! I'll have to try some other drinks but I know I'll always be happy with this one. They are often very busy, but the service has been great here and they have also been fast. Download their app for rewards. After your first purchase you get a free drink. I stopped by on Black Friday and got their vanilla buzz coffee at a discount and even snagged another discount for buying two. I can't wait for more locations to open. I recently saw that they had a grand opening deal on Postmates, so I decided to order delivery to make Monday more bearable. I went during their grand opening and although they were busy (of course) the line went very fast and there were a few people to take orders to keep the line moving. I got buzzed in Costa Mesa! Better Buzz Coffee is a San Diego coffee shop staple making its way to OC with a couple locations having opened up. This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have about 5-6 tables for seating with some seating outside in a patio area as well. As for their menu, they have a great selection of different lattes, espressos, teas, matchas, sandwiches, and more! I stopped by to grab some drinks for the homies and got an Orange Matcha Latte for myself. I really enjoyed the subtle citrusy flavor and how it paired so well with the matcha and coconut milk! Overall, I am glad that Better Buzz Coffee is continuing to expand outside of the SD area! All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Came here to kill some time whiling waiting for my friend to get off work. Place is easy to find with plenty of parking. The inside is nice with plenty of places to sit. Employees were all super helpful. I got a cinnamon cream cold brew and honestly it tasted better than I expected. It reminded me of Horchata.
