We made a big order tonight and the late night crew said they don't make wet burritos like the picture on their menu , it's a dry burrito, you add your own sauce . Their burrito has cheese on it , but you have to add your own. They said you make your own burrito but charged us for one. Y'all lazy as hell. Don't go here , save your money. These burritos had nothing in it . Waste of money !!!

I am seriously shocked by Beto's!! Their pricing and menu were pretty standard but the food was crazy good! Not just that, but the carne asada burrito was straight up steak with a little pico de gallo, nothing else!!! You could make a dozen tacos with that much beef! The chicken and pork were also almost all meat. I HIGHLY recommend the carne asada fries. I usually don't eat French fries, but I had a few bites and was hooked. Best steak and potatoes I've eaten to date! Tons of steak plus pico, guac, sour cream, and cheddar. I will be back for these often. Their breakfast burritos are also delicious. They are mostly potatoes but also have eggs, cheese, and whatever type of breakfast meat you want. Our bacon was great! You do need a bit of salsa to get through the dryness of the potatoes.

El tamal...and part of the skirt and the robe that I threw on for my late night Mexican food rendezvous.

I have three kids, 4 and under and another on the way, and I love burritos, so I am all about the Mexican drive thru (anything to not have to get three kids in and out of car seats). I've tried most of the places in Provo and some in Orem and Salt Lake. Tonight as I was starving at 10 p.m., I started looking on yelp to see what the ratings were when I was pleasantly surprised to find that just a few minutes south of my house in SE Provo, there was a Beto's in Springville. I was totally prepared to love this place. It's closer to my house than any of the other places, so I was excited at the prospect of what I hoped would become a new favorite. I pulled right up to the menu board at 11 p.m. with just one car in front of me at the window. I could hear some chattering in Spanish coming through the speaker and at first I just thought the order taker was talking to her coworkers and didn't realize her mic was on. I speak Spanish, but I wasn't paying attention until they just kept talking and no one was taking my order. I glanced up at the window and realized the employee at the window was leaning out just chatting with the women in the car in front of me. At one point the employee looked back at me and just kept on talking. Finally, after about 2-3 minutes, the employee said, "Are you ready?" as if she had been waiting on me. Not willing to have my new favorite quick food place dethroned so easily, I cheerfully said, "Yes! Can you get the sausage breakfast burrito with potatoes, eggs, and cheese?" (Just to clarify because the other breakfast burritos had potatoes, eggs, and cheese in parentheses, but the sausage did.) No answer. Dead silence. At least she figured out how to turn her mic off. The car in front of me drives away at last and the employee gets back on and says, "You want to know the price for the carne asada burrito?" Nice save, except that sounds nothing like what I just said. I ended up ordering the breakfast burrito along with a single tamal. The tamal was good, although I'm not really familiar with what's authentic and what isn't. I was surprised that they drenched it in enchilada sauce and sprinkled it with cheddar cheese. But it was still good. Like I said, I'm pregnant and probably going to starve to death any minute, so I didn't stop at the tamal. I started eating my breakfast burrito. It was tasty. I was really happy and even started singing songs about changing my life and joy and other ridiculousness in my head. Like I said, hangry. Pregnant hangry. And then...crunch. I thought it was either an egg shell or a large undissolved salt crystal. No matter. Nobody's perfect. I kept eating and then crunch crunch crunch. I finally had to spit out everything in my mouth into my hand because there were so many pieces of egg shell that I couldn't isolate it in my mouth. There was enough egg shell that it made me seriously concerned about the quality control and made me feel a little sicked out. Combine that with the chatty employee and I'm over it. I'll just drive to Alberto's in downtown Salt Lake if I need a burrito that badly.

You know this place is good if you catch Luis (who owns La Casita) eating there.

Always a nice dirty meal!! Their green salsa is the best but some employees are very stingy about handing extra out.

Breakfast burritos were 90% potatoes, and the potatoes were no washed. You could taste the dirt.

Probably the best Mexican food for the best price in Utah County. Try the Carne Asada Burrito, you'll see what I mean!

The burrito was bursting with meat that was very tender and flavorful. It was also rice and beans in the burrito, which I feel that the burrito needed more because it was overpowered by the meat. There was the gooey mozzarella cheese as well, but it definitely could have used more. Overall, this is a very solid burrito and definitely something I would order again. I absolutely love the green avocado salsa as well. It compliments the flavors of the burrito and the meat perfectly and is the right amount of heat for me.

It looks like a wall was removed, new flooring and better lighting throughout. The menu boards are big and clear to read. But there is a little asterisk saying that the prices are for cash transactions only. In this day and age just list what card price will be. Ordering was easy and we got a regular taco, a gringa taco and a burrito plus a Jamaica Fresca. They gave us a little buzzer for once our food was ready and there was a line when we walked in but it was fast moving. We had 3 kinds of meat: Asada, Sudadero and Pollo. Each one was tender and perfectly cooked. SO YUMMY! The tortillas were fresh and hot. We always appreciate grabbing our own toppings and were happy with their little section. We did notice that the limes are not self serve, they come with your plate. The Jamaica Fresca was a new one for us, very floral and sweet. My dinner partner didn't care for it but I thought it was okay.

My wife ordered the Chili Nogales, which arrived lukewarm--not what you'd expect. This restaurant has potential but could definitely improve by ensuring dishes are served hot and incorporating more robust flavors. On a positive note, their salsa bar is fantastic! However, it shouldn't feel like the salsa is necessary to rescue the dishes. We hope to see improvements because this place has promise.

In fact, the whole plaza is a destination experience and I can't wait to come back at night and check everything out. The service from the hostess to our server was top notch- friendly, helpful and attentive. We started out with the creamy queso with chorizo along with chips and several selections from the robust salsa bar. They have so many salsas to choose from ranging from sweet and spicy as well as chunky to creamy. So many options! For lunch we ordered the Chiles en nogada which is a pork stuffed poblano pepper covered in a decadent walnut based cream sauce with pomegranates and cilantro. It's also plated so beautifully! Second, we ordered the Mixto with a shrimp enchilada smothered with queso, a pork tostada that was melt in your mouth and a shredded beef taco that was overflowing with meat. Portion sizes were generous, ambiance was inviting and energetic and the service was excellent. We are already planning our return so we can try other items in the menu. Highly recommend!
