Ginormous omelets, or should I say, nomnomnomelets. I really enjoyed the Makin' Bacon omelet I got; I also enjoyed the pile of hash browns it came on, and when I say I got the omelet, 3 of us got it and had leftovers. It was classic breakfast diner food. One of the things I really liked about the omelet is that the bacon used in side was still crispy! Go Beth's Cafe! Other than being super filling, the food was super tasty. I thought the service was really good, especially considering they are perpetually slammed by customers, and I enjoyed being able to create some artwork while waiting for my food (always fun, and brings out the 4 year old in me). The only reason I can't give this place 5 stars is because of the wait. It is pretty long, but overall worth it. And, like many places, if there is routinely a long wait, it's probably good. I will definitely be back here, no doubt. read more

Huge portion! Get ready to pack more than half if you don't come here starving. I heard they have 6 and 12 eggs legendary omelet OMG. Anyway, this is a home style brunch spot offering breakfast all day. Reasonable price. read more

Beth's Cafe - American Near Me - Seattle, Washington

I know it's old. And many people think that should mean good. But it's not. I know, I know, I also want to live in a PNW evergreen city with an awesome greasy spoon that serves buttermilk stacks and grits from heaven, but all that hoping isn't going to make Beth's that place, so stop giving it 5 stars just 'cuz its old! The food is inexpensive, but it's still expensive for what you're getting. Went here with some friends around midnight in February. We were told to wait outside, or "wherever, just get out of our way" were the server's attitudes. And attitudes they had aplenty. Must have been on the specials board that night and I just missed it. I got one smile from an employee there, and that was the busboy. Crappy little soggy raw short stacks. Brown water for coffee. thought we might try to ask for different pancakes, so we sent them back to the kitchen... in return for some more of the same like. Then, when we put some non-Britney on the juke, my crowd began blues dancing in the aisle. I suppose that's their shtick in most every dining establishment with open floor space. But the snarky hipsters were having none of it and silenced the speakers. Most places think its cool. Oh yeah, and then you can hang up your own wall art . They give you paper and crayons and let you run free and you can tape your Picasso on the wall over the piles of other crude drawings. One star for every waitress in that place being knocked up. An extra star for being 24 hrs. read more

Oh man! I didn't think I could like Beth's any better but I just discovered the peanut butter chocolate milkshake. Dammmmnnnnnn! That is incredible. We were seated (as in told which table was open) next to the mustache wall. There was a tasteful picture of Michael Jackson with a mustache & "Welcome to Heaven, here's a mustache". There was also a surprisingly pretty Cheshire & gay mustache. Who knew? I demand Ian start growing the Cheshire immediately. I like that Beth's is what it is. Rough & tumble, creative & colorful, divey & delicious. For me- that is a guaranteed good time. read more

I went here with my friend. People who reported not being seated right away that's right - but hey the people who frequent Beth's are cool people and so you just hang out until they call your name. Outside - you hang out - it was a beautiful day when I was there so it didn't matter. There is no room to wait inside. When you walk in the door you are looking right at the kitchen - cooking away. It was kind of fun to watch them for a minute or two. They were fast and everything they were cooking looked yummy. That being said - I was still recovering from the flu so I went for the Belgian waffle, scrambled eggs and 4 sausages. I ate it all it was so good. My friend got an omelette and it was huge. He ate it all and some of the sausage I couldn't eat. If you want a beautiful place to go for breakfast don't go to Beth's. If you want waitresses or waiters all decked out in a uniform don't go to Beth's. Beth's has the artwork of patrons all over their walls. It honestly is fun to look at all of the artwork. Most importantly they have a staff that is very friendly and food that is very good. I would recommend going - so go - what are you waiting for? read more

I am really mixed in my feelings for this place. I see, in conflict-averse Seattle, that a place where you could reliably get some 'tude might be a blessing. The food is nothing great: diner food, with unlimited partially-cooked hash browns. Service is often spotty. It's straight-up sticky inside. The pro: Good tunes. Conversations at adjacent tables will be painful and hilarious. They have pinball tables in a back room (but, like hearts and eggs here, mostly broken). The obvious: the people who eat here regularly (or work here) are not going to give a damn about what Yelp thinks. Or probably what the Health Department thinks, either. It's Beth's: It's Home. read more

Blah, I am over Beth's. I never was really that big of a fan, but I am just over this place. The food isn't that great, the service isn't that great, the wait for a table always lasts forever, tables are cramped when you do get one, and the place just isn't that clean (dear god, don't even get me started on the bathroom - sick!). My favorite part is probably the ability to draw pictures with crayons and attach them to the wall. Also the fact that it is open 24 hours. But that's about it. read more

My friend recommended we come here since he hadn't been here for a long while and I have heard about it from the travel channel show man verses food. This place is a total dump from the inside with all the paper drawings on the walls to the very old and dated furniture. The silverware and dishes were also sorely needed to be replaced!! The food was ok with my French toast, ham slice and eggs, but the feel of the restaurant made everything unappetizing and made we want to gag ): The only good thing about the place was the waitress/hostess who was very nice and made sure we were fine with our food. Otherwise I would have given this place one star for sure!! I have to admit I have some high standards after being an elite Yelp member and will judge accordingly as I see fit. I will not be coming here again. read more

ALL YOU CAN EAT HASHBROWNS?! Need I say more?! Yelp stalk me a little and you can easily see that I have some serious love for those delicious delicious hashbrowns... Yes, I'm obsessed. Yes it's probably an issue. No, I don't want help. (Shhhhhhhh...go awayyyyyy...) Anyhoo! Came one a weekend and the wait was pretty long. Watched a kid shoot a bunch of (arcade game) deer he wasn't supposed to shoot while his dad tried to coach him (all in vain) for about 2 minutes before he ran out of shots in the game and his dad refused to give him another dollar. The arcade area is a little dingy, a little close, and more than a little awkward. 4 chairs and lots of people waiting. I entertained myself by reading the drawings on the wall (some are hilariously obscene). But I digress. THE FOOD?! was edible. Not the best I've had, but definitely not the worst. HUGE portion of hashbrowns, so I was extra happy. Minus one star for the need to flag someone down for my coffee refill (but I'll admit they were pretty busy) and for the greasy feeling I had when I was done (almost expected it though). Next time, I'm tackling a 6 egg omelet!!! ...with a side of hashbrowns, of course. read more

The diviest of the dives! This is a Seattle icon. Beth's has been open 24/7, 365 for 60 years in a row. That's possible because it's just the right kind of greasy spoon that will hit you right in the gut with that eggy, hashy, salty, bacony concoction you MUST have at 4 a.m. (or 10am, or 5pm, or any time actually) all washed down with a whole bunch of coffee. And their coffee is legit. It's not some diner coffee, it's Cafe Vita. Beth's has personality, and they have some unique dishes, mostly because of the proportions. For example, their 12 egg omelette is a legend that will baptize you in Seattle. No, not the Seattle that's taken over my Amazonians or other techies searching for that incredible $20 craft beer from a monastery on the Rhine. It's the grunge, baby. No judgement at Beth's. Other awesome fare - the gravy Benedict. Instead of Hollandaise sauce, two eggs on biscuits and sausage are smothered in gravy and garnished with a humongous serving of hash browns. Their corned beef hash is like drunk baby food. The fries are like crusty pieces of heaven. There's plenty to explore at Beth's with a breakfast and dinner menu all day. Time ceases to have meaning at a place that's been open 60 years around the clock. I warn you , though, the parking situation isn't fabulous. There is sometimes a line out the door. BUT there is an arcade room so you can wait. And a bar next door so you can continue your drinking. It may look dilapidated (and it is), but you'll never regret going to Beth's. Everybody goes to Beth's. read more

I'm writing my review mostly so that I can brag that I did in fact eat a 12 egg omelet, and finished it! It's definitely a diner, but with a little bit more attitude than your average Denny's. You can see the cooks, and the waiters rotate around. My favorite part is the collection of drawings on the walls and trying to draw something worthy of the walls. If you're looking for a hearty breakfast meal, then this is your place. read more

I have been here twice, despite the bad experience I had the first time, and both times the food has just been okay. I get that it's supposed to be a greasy spoon dive, but I think it's overpriced considering I can cook it better at home and considering the supbar customer service. To me, there is not a lot going for this place except that you can stumble in late at night and eat some breakfast food after having too much to drink. The first time I came here, I tried to order a breakfast burrito sans meat and I think another thing or two, but apparently the waitress ignored me because when I got my food it had ham in it. I didn't eat it a bite of it for this reason, although I ate my hashbrowns which were crispy enough, although too greasy. The waitress didn't ask me about my food, and I didn't tell her because she was rude when I placed my order and didn't think it was worth a confrontation. My friend ended up taking it home with him. I did get a slice of apple pie a la mode, which hit the spot nicely. The second time I came here, I decided to order something that wouldn't require any changes or substitutions to be suitable for my diet, so I went with the French toast. I love French toast but I have rarely found a really good French toast. The French toast I got was solidly middle of the road - not the worst, not anything special. I ate it all because I was drunk and hungry. I was satisfied. The friend I came with ordered an omelette, which he said he did not like at all. Overpriced, greasy food and bad service that will do in a pinch if you need a real meal in the middle of the night and are too drunk to make it yourself. read more

Got dragged here with friends who wanted to eat 12 egg omlettes, thought it would be just another diner. And it is, but a GREAT one. While idiot 1 was slaving over his 12 egg bacon omlette and idiot 2 was working on his 12 egg farmer's omlette, other orders were the corned beef hash with 3 over easy eggs, bacon, waffle, and scrambled eggs, and a muffin, egg, sausage, and hashbrown mini breakfast. I got the country benedict and it is the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. Country benedict is a biscuit slice in half, topped with (amazing) sausage, scrambled eggs, and gravy. Between that and the hashbrowns my jaw dropped. Everyone had at least a pound of hash browns served with their meal, the idiots had at least two pounds each. Anyway, my country benedict was great, the blueberry muffin was great, and the corned beef hash got high praise. I'm not sure how the bacon and waffles were, but they looked good and got eaten without a single word so I'm sure they were tasty. Idiot 1 did not finish, he was maybe 4 bites away. Idiot 2 did finish. Somehow I was worse off with a full stomach having eaten maybe 1/2 my country benedict than they were having eaten an entire pizza pan of breakfast. Good prices, huge portions, everything well done and open 24 hours. While Beth's isn't doing anything earth shattering, they are keeping a high standard for our good 'ole american diners. read more

Girlfriend took me here... I was a little discouraged by how it looked on the outside and the location... But again, Crystal has proven me wrong. This place was awesome. The pictures and of course the arcade games.. I was in heaven, who doesn't love video games or coloring??? I got a cheese burger and it was pretty good... The abundance of fries was enough to hold me over for the next day. I tried some of an omelet and some hash browns and it was really good. I will definitely be back, and this time I will get an omelet. read more

Not gunna lie - I liked this place quite a lot! The decor left a lot to be desired. The walls are covered with childrens art, nothing is new, very very hole in the wall, but once you get past that it's pretty great! I had the chocolate milkshake to start and OMG it was awesome - SO DELICIOUS!!! My fiance had the peanut butter milkshake - he loved it! For my entree I had the pancakes, scrambled eggs, and ham. The pancakes were HUMONGOUS!! Very glad I didn't opt for an extra pancake lol. It was very delicious though. The scrambled eggs were fine - normal eggs. The ham was fantastic though! My fiance had the ruben - he said it was good, not great. Overall - pretty great place! I liked it, we'll be back. read more

These guys are awesome! I've been here a couple of times and every time I can here it's always interesting. Their unlimited hash is the best sh*t in the world!!!! Nobody, nobody does that but Beth's! Hash are the sh*t. They make the best breakfast no doubt about it. True American greesy, slappiest, 3 egg breakfast you will ever eat! Love love this place an highly recommend it to anyone looking for a bloating experience of eggs and hash. Awesome servers and awesome walls of craftsmanship. Try it!! read more

If you are in your 20s, you go to Beth's because the hours a place is open is the most important thing to your inebriated mind. If you are in your 30s, you go to Beth's to try and recapture your youth, and wrestle with the fact that your face piercings and tattoos have limited your employment options to retail. If you are in your 40s, you go to Beth's with your out-of-town friends so you can watch their faces as they try to get their head around the ambiance. If you are in your 50s, you go to Beth's because your significant other won't let you eat anything for breakfast that isn't 90% fiber. Oh, and in the vain hope that the cute waitress has an unfulfilled father fantasy. If you are in your 60s, what in the heck are you doing at Beth's? That crazy dreadlocked cook might spit in your eggs or scratch himself with the spatula. Go home. If you are over 70, let's face it, you aren't at Beth's. A diet with that kind of fat-to-nutrition ratio killed you years ago. read more

Their tater tots are phenomenal! That's all I gotta say.

We came here around midnight on a Friday night and it was very crowded. I guess there are just a dearth of late night options available. We ended up waiting for about 15 minutes, something I wasn't exactly prepared to do in my very tired state. I was also annoyed that they wouldn't let us dine at the bar. Overall, they just took their time with seating, since there were also empty booths that waited empty while they took their time. My boyfriend and I split a Reuben sandwich and fries. The sandwich was tasty, but very heavily buttered. I could feel my waistline expanding as I ate my half (and I'm glad it was only half). Besides the inefficient seating, I was also annoyed by the dirtiness of the place. We were seated near the grill area, and I saw trash that was tossed all around the trash can but not necessarily IN the bin. Whenever the cooks had trash, they would just chuck it in the general direction of the bin, without checking to see if it actually made it inside. I've decided this is really a 2-star establishment, but I'm still leaving them an extra star for being open 24 hours. read more

This place is some kind of teenage hipster initiation or rite of passage. If you're coming off a week-long bender and the only protein you've ingested has been from.. well.. anyway. You might need 12 eggs. I don't think any normal human condition would merit 12 eggs or an assload of hashed browns. That film that's covering everything in there? That's character! Just make sure to scrape the character off of you when you leave as to not smell up your car or put any drug-sniffing dogs into an epileptic event. read more

Oh Beths. We had a long run. I used to love you before I could go the bars but in the past 6 years of being legal I've come to find you are a dirt hole. No matter how much you "renovate". I've come to you less and less. There can be no way to reconcile how much hair is in your food. I can only quarantine the contaminated portion of my east sider so many times before it's just embarassing. I'll take my money to 5 Point. They have shit all over their walls, questionable facilities with clean food, booze, 24 hour breakfast, and a friendly staff. 1 star for milk shakes, 1 star for the memories of playing pinball while waiting for a table. read more

I would estimate that I've been to Beth's at least sixty times. I have never had to wait, I'm not sure when people are arriving where they have to wait 40 mins for a table, but I get there around dinner time. Cause dinnertime is the best time to have breakfast, imo. All of their omelettes are fine choices, my favorites are the veggie and the one with bacon, tomatoes and sour cream. SO good! We always get the Amish bread, it's well worth the small upcharge. I would also highly recommend the breakfast burrito, maybe my favorite in Seattle! The six egg omelette feeds me three times, no joke it's a LOT of food. Hubs tried to eat a twelve egg omelette once and failed miserably, despite being a large guy and "eating until he was angry." His words. The two times I was not super happy with my meal were the two times I actually ordered dinner. First time was a patty melt and tater tots. The second time was the fried chicken they advertise on their tables. I was warned that the meal would come from the bar next door and would arrive later than the rest of my table. I'm not known for not making bad decisions, so I went ahead and ordered it anyway. It wasn't terrible, but the breading seemed overcooked and it just wasn't worth the 20 minute wait. That's 20 minutes AFTER everyone else had gotten their food. All in all 2 mediocre meals out of sixty is better odds than my own kitchen, tbh. I see many many giant omelettes in my future. read more

So I never went to Beth's in the prime drinking years of my youth. Guess I missed the opportunity to ever enjoy this place or find it the least bit amusing. The pancakes were rubbery, the patrons loaded, and the ambiance was ala squat house. I felt dirty just sitting there, and after eating only half of my meal, my innards didn't feel right until about dinnertime the next day. It didn't help that there was a really drunk dude at the table next to us who insisted on speaking/yelling to everyone around him on volume level 11. read more

I don't care what anyone says, Beth's holds a special place in my heart. I've been coming here since I was a kid. Brought my kids here for the first time and they didn't disappoint. Yeah, it's a dingy hole in the wall...but they have great omelets, arcade games, and enough paper and crayons to keep any kid busy. read more

Biscuits and Gravy - Everyone who sat at the table thought it was delicious. Fresh biscuits, the gravy had chunks of sausage and it was the best I had for about 6 bucks. 5 stars hands down Have you ever looked at a stick of butter and thought, "I will never eat a stick a butter." That is what you will get when you will the six egg Triple Bypass Omelet. Its full of cheese, ham, eggs, and top that off with the bacon salt with a side of English muffin and unlimited hash browns. You got yourself heaven. This is something I will not try again and was about 11 bucks. What you gotta ask yourself is, "Will I have a productive day to move all that food down and out?" Food coma has set it folks. read more

Of course it's a dive. You go to Beth's at 4am when you're exhausted and probably drunk/high too. When you get there, you pick out your jukebox songs, do your best to stumble through a pinball game, and laugh at the waiters while they get on the intercom and sing, announce random bits of trivia, or mumble other barely intelligible things. Then you get crayons and a piece of paper and draw something to hang on the wall, preferably something with veiled obscenity. Whoever goes to Beth's expecting normal service or a culinary masterpiece is nuts. But as far as 24 hour restaurants go, the pickings are slim... and I prefer the atmosphere at Beth's to the other available choices. read more

Beth, you evil woman, you! Trying to kill us all with disgustingly, large omelettes and never-ending piles of golden hashbrowns! I feel instant regret as I emerge from each of my Beth-induced, food comas, yet I can't stop coming back. The biscuits and gravy, low prices, and entertaining crowd at varying levels of drunkness make it difficult for me to stay away for long. Seat me in a slightly sticky booth, with my plate of biscuits and gravy and some crayons, and call it a night. The only thing that really bothers me about Beth's is that I cannot find the rocket penis artwork that we left behind. Forget the family-style environment! That rocket penis had portholes and everything. It was a genius work of art! read more

This is the spot where the Man v. Food dude attempted to eat the 12 egg omelet. I went for the 6 egg omelet (drunk eating) and almost finished the whole thing. It was nicely cooked, with a really thick layer of egg, and the ham, onions, and tomatoes inside were fine. The hash browns were nice and crispy, but claims of best hash browns in town might be pushing it. Ambiance consists of children's drawings on the wall and an eclectic soundtrack, Neil Diamond during our stay. Pretty entertaining when you're intoxicated. read more

I got a 12 egg Southwest Exposure. A few bites in, it was delicious. One order of hashbrowns, 75% of the omelette, and two slices of toast later, I felt like I was either going to explode or die. Luckily, I did neither. But at least I left with my dignity, if not a small bruise to my pride. 12 egg omelette, next time we meet, you are going DOWN. The food? Big, greasy, and good. The atmosphere? Funky, and the music is good. And if ever in a lapse of judgement you want to eat a 12 egg omelette on your own, you can! read more

i came here b/c i was intrigued by the idea of a 12 egg omlet. I tried it and I wasn't disappointed. This isn't a one person meal... well I bet you can make it a one person. So they give you a 12 egg omlet how ever you like it. But they will only give you one plate. So... you gotta play for the extra plates. :) I don't quite remember how much it was. The other food they serve are pretty awesome. Biscuit with gravy... mmm. :) yummy. Well just come by for the trip... it really has an anbience that you'd probably only see in Seattle. :) read more

I always thought Pagliacci was the most overrated food institution in the Seattle area, but I may have to give that dubious distinction to Beth's going forward. First let me say that I totally understand I am not part of the target demographic for this establishment. It's a dive, the customers know it, they know it, and they thrive on it. Thus I won't even mention how dirty and rundown the place is inside or the general nastiness going on throughout. It's not fair to downgrade an establishment on something they're up front about, right? But it is fair to judge them on their food, and here's where the fail begins. Got my usual bacon, eggs, hash browns and toast breakfast. The eggs and hash browns were completely tasteless. Cooked fine, but absolutely no seasoning at all. I always add pepper to those dishes, but I had to throw a good amount of salt on too. Bacon was good, but come on, it's bacon how is it not good? I will say the sourdough was excellent, though I had to scrape off about half a stick of butter that they slathered on. Nasty. Overall the food was below average and something I could have gotten anywhere. BUT ZOMG ZE PORTIONS ZEY ARE HUGE!!!!! Sure, they give you a lot of food, but you pay for it. My breakfast (with mandatory tip) was $17. I could have gotten a much better breakfast somewhere else for half the price and not had to put up with that dive. Oops, I wasn't going to mention that, was I? Service was...there. Indifferent is a good word I suppose. If you want to go once just to see what all the fuss is about go for it, but don't expect much. read more

Disclaimer: This review is about Beth's Cafe while sober. As a post-binge meal, Beth's cafe is always amazing for about 12 hours and then always turrible (said with a Charles Barkley accent) when you taste it again the next morning. I've been here only twice without a hefty amount of Mac and Jacks in my system, and both experiences were very different. - Experience A Various buddies decided they wanted to try the 12 egg omelet challenge. Not knowing this, I engaged in a White Russian duel the night before, so my stomach was dissatisfied before I even ordered my "Build Your Own" omelet (with black olives and mushrooms). Still, I powered through that makeshift heart function test like no one's business, eating roughly 9 of the 12 eggs before most of my buddies had reached the halfway point. Yet right around egg number 10, the hangover started to get to me. The combination of 10 eggs and hash browns was a bit too much. Only one of my friends managed to complete the 12 eggs, and he was eating it all dainty like cutting it into tiny squares and eating each piece one at a time. I'm pretty sure the 12 egg omelet is more than doable, and had I not been recovering I'm pretty sure finishing it would have been easy. Take that, Man vs. Food guy. - Experience B After a long hike, I somehow craved Beth's 6 egg omelet. This time I added jalapeños to make it extra spicy. There was no wait, we got our eggs quick, and they were delicious. Easily finished every last bite, and the service was excellent. I'm not generally wild about the way this place is set up. I get how the "hole in the wall" look is supposed to be all hipster and popular, but places that look dirty still look dirty, and this place is pretty dirty. But there is no other cafe I'd rather go to while under the influence of Amber Ale, and even without that little boost I have to give this place a bonus for being consistently good for what it is. read more

This place has the best omelettes I've ever eaten around here. Food taste great and option for huge portion is insane. Always came in large groups of 5-6. Highest we came was 8 people. Best breakfast to eat at or have breakfast for dinner. Good variety of other choices if you don't want omelettes. The atmosphere here is pretty great! When you walk in you'll find drawings from various past customers that have left their mark when they come by to eat. Be an intense game of I Spy's and funny jokes you'll find in all the drawings. Change's each time I come by once in awhile in a group. For those that drive, parking will be tricky since they only have tiny parking lot in the back alley shared with other businesses next to them. Best advise to carpool if you plan to eat here. read more

Always try to make it here when I visit Seattle. The 6 egg omelets are amazing and I hope to try the 12 egg omelet someday

Whats bigger than a twelve egg omelet? I don't know how one person can finish a twelve egg omelet when the six egg omelet is already so huge! All my friends shared the six egg omelet and barely finished. The mini breakfasts options are the perfect size and very filling. My favorite part about Beth's is the unlimited hash browns! Who doesn't love hash browns? The hash browns are really crispy on the outside and then the inside is so soft and delicious! I also think their jam is really good too, so make sure you get toast as your choice with each meal! Beth's is definitely good for traditional breakfasts. If you are more of the authentic breakfast eaters, I would not choose to go here. Last but not least, this place is really gross and unsanitary. The booth that I sat in had food all over the booth and the table was so greasy. You can even tell the restaurant needs some maitenance. read more

On the recommendation of a friend we popped into Beth's while passing through Seattle. It was late so we stopped for dessert. We asked the waiter if the apple pie was homemade and he informed us that it wasn't. We still ordered two slices. We couldn't just come here and get store made apple pie so I ordered a side of hash browns to check their grill skills. The hash browns were made perfectly. They had a crunchy outside but were still light. They weren't saturated in oil, but still had great flavor. I was surprised when I finished the side of hash browns when the waiter brought a second plate. Apparently they are bottomless. I couldn't resist. The apple pie was nothing special, but wasn't bad. The staff was very friendly and kind. It was nice that it was open 24 hours. I would return to try one of their omelette specialties. There are some scary reviews on here, but we didn't experience anything negative. Good luck. Enjoy. read more

Okay, I don't understand the hype. The service was terrible, I know it's a diner, but still. The waitress left in the middle of taking out order, and came back twenty minutes later, was rude. I kind of got the pretentious "we've been on the travel channel so we can do whatever" vibe. I'm a very laid back person and being a waitress myself I understand that sometimes things go wrong, but ahhhh! I don't remember if the food was good or not, we were so dumbfounded by our rude server!! We almost got up and left but we didn't wanna be rude ourselves. Maybe I'll give it another try... But not for a while. read more

Used to eat here in the middle of the night all the time when I lived in the neighborhood and bring the older one here when she was a just fresh out........... Well fast forward 10 years. The crazy Aunties brought here for breakfast a couple of weeks ago and you would have thought they had taken her to Canlis! So last night after the circus, we brought her and the baby sister here for dinner (aka breakfast). Place is just as I remember dirty, bad seating but great greasy food. They obviously use real butter because I didn't sick.... the bacon was really good, the corn beef hash great (out of a can, just the way I like it! I know it's wrong but I love it!), good hashbrowns and excellent blueberry muffin. Guess we'll have to come back to the old hood for breakfast more often. Breakfast for 3 1/2 people (Pip counts as a 1/2) was $45 not dirt cheap but we got a lot of food and everyone left happy! read more

Wana go to Beth's? Hell yes! I work nights, and I like to have something in my stomach after work... so I head down to Beth's on occaision with a friend or two and stand outside and wait for what to my grumbling tummy feels like decades but is really only about 13 minutes before I get seated. Inside the walls are literally plastered with pictures people have drawn over the years (or prbably in reality you can only see the last month or so). The waitresses are quick and to the point but not rude if your not a drunken ass hole. Don't get me wrong this place is the type of place that if your being an idiot one of the waitresses will get on the loudspeaker and announce to the crowd of restaurant goers what a complete and total moron you are and that you should probably leave before someone does something they will undoubtedly regret tomorow. Oh yeah, the food! Yup it's greasy spoon, stick to breakfast and you'll be fine. read more

BE PREPARED TO WAIT A WHILE TO GET A SEAT!!! No matter what time of the day you go...it is BUSY here. Beth's Cafe is great. I have some very fond memories of this place from my younger, crazier days and when I go back (which is not often enough), I can remember all the fun times.
