Great place for spa in flushing. Very clean and very professional. The owner is always there at the store to make sure everyone is taken care of with clean slippers, clothing, and made comfortable. His staffs all seem very polite and friendly. It also shows that the boss and the team maintained a good relationship. The price is very good as well, however to avoid overcrowding this place usually take reservations only. So make sure to make your reservation first, otherwise you might not be able to be serve by showing up unannounced. This is the only place I go to now for the flushing area, and it's hard to find places that appear clean and comfortable. The price is very affordable, perhaps a few dollars more than the main st area but it is worth it. My only complaint would be that the place is a bit small. Wish it was larger so they can take more appointments per day, or at least when a fee clients are waiting we arent cramped into the small waiting area. read more

It's been too long since I got to enjoy a good massage. I've been wary the past 2 years given the pandemic but finally felt it was time. I searched around and found Best Spa with good reviews on both Yelp and Google and prices seemed reasonable too. I scheduled an appointment a day in advance and asked for a 70 minute deep tissue massage with 30 minute foot massage. I planned for Sunday 2pm but due to scheduling was asked to come in at 1:30 which was fine for me. It was snowing and I managed to find some street parking just around the corner otherwise residential parking seemed not hard to find if you're ok with walking a few blocks. Walking up to the second floor, I wasn't sure how big the place was (hadn't seen the photos) but I was pleasantly surprised the floor was pretty long and had a bunch of rooms for massages. I was shown the menu and asked if I could round it to 90 minutes so I'd get 70 min deep tissue and 20 min foot massage. It came out to a total of $90 and gave extra for tip. Credit Card is accepted but cash didn't have any extra charges so paid it all in cash. The lockers are segregated to men and women and is sprayed in between each person. Locked away my clothes and had a clean uniform to wear for my massage. I had the pleasure of Eva working with me and she was very responsive to all of my aches and knots. She appreciated the communication and she really focused where I pointed out the tense spots. I'm used to getting ashiatsu massages so was happy when she got up on my back and was stepping around to apply pressure. I'm not sure if it's included with the usual deep tissue massage but she also used oil, and eventually hot stones to massage. I've never had hot stones used before but can't complain about the experience. It wrapped up and my 90 minutes were over fast. Overall I was happy with the experience and hope to visit again soon. I asked about the VIP discounts and unfortunately they are already maxed out . Wasn't the great , the guy that didn't introduce himself was okay . strong hands but only on the back after that nothing . the place smells bad and everything looks dirty , I am used to walk inside a spa smelling flowers or lavender, here nothing just the front desk lady rushing you to walk inside and change into a weird shote and tshirt , lights to bright and people talking , it's practically a house with small rooms around , cleaning staff inside the room , towels not sure were clean . the total was the same like I pay in Huntington I thought will be better because was Queens nothing new . the stones were in the price that was all . at the end the guy said , end ! not even a cup of water or take my time to relax because I felt dirty those oils with dirty bottles , doesn't have a good small , went home to take a good shower . read more

Best Spa is really my happiest place on Earth. I have been coming here every week for the past 4 years and will never go anywhere else for a massage. When you arrive, they ask you to put on a pair of their slippers and change into their uniform (shorts and a tshirt). From there, they'll ask what service you want, where you want them to focus, and how much pressure you want. Then they take you back to the massage table and allow you to remove as much clothing as you're comfortable with (keep your underwear on though!) Sindy is my go to girl; she treats me with such care, attentiveness, and kindness. I really feel so at peace with her. When she's not available, I literally tell them I'll take whoever is around, male or female, because I have never been disappointed with any of the staff. The quality of their massages are 10/10. They're very clean and professional. Their prices are super reasonable and they even have a happy hour (reduced prices) every day from 10:30am - 1:30pm. EDIT: I got a concussion from this massage place because part of the deep tissue massage involved hitting the head. My partner was fine and his lady DID NOT hit his head but my lady did!! I have no history of low back pain but after a deep tissue massage, I suddenly have really bad low back pain that won't go away. The massage ladies were VERY rough with me and were super strong. I would recommend these to anyone needing a good massage. They will meet you upon coming out in the elevator and provide clothes with slippers. Before entering the massage rooms, the host will ask you the areas needing the most attention. The lady who did my massage was very good. I thought I will have soreness in my body afterwards but their techniques combined with hot stone ease my muscles. No doubt a good 5 stars. Great prices and great friendly staff. You come in and are immediately greeted. You take off your shoes upon entering/getting off the elevator. They have sandals that you put on that are covered with like a parched paper. Then they give you scrubs and a key for a locker. You go into the changing/locker room (separate for men and women) and change into the scrubs, there are signs that they aren't responsible for anything lost or stolen, so make sure you lock up. My husband and I get couples massages, at the price you cannot beat it. We've done 60 min or 90 min. But like I said the price is great. This place is really wonderful. Affordable, but also respectful and professional. I was looking for a place to take my parents for a massage. I didn't want a place that was super bougey and overpriced, but I also wanted to make sure it was clean and personal and professional. (My parents had never gotten a massage before in NY, and were hesitant bc of cleanliness and professionalism.) Booking: I called ahead the day before, and was able to book 3 full body massages for the 3 of us easily. My parents got a room for themselves, while I was in my own private room. We got the happy hour price $30 for a full body massage (valid from 10am-3pm I assume only on weekdays.) Experience: When we walked in, we were asked to change into slippers (with little liners in them for hygiene.) The man who greeted us was warm and welcoming. We then got keys to a locker room for us to put away out coats and bags, and change into a simple clean shirt+shorts. Then we went into our rooms for the massage. The massage was pretty good. It wasn't the best I've had, but it was enjoyable. We started on the shoulders + neck (bc that was the area I wanted focus on). I didn't like the use of elbows so much. She definitely focused on my knots which was great. Then we moved down to the legs. After a long time, there was a very very relaxing oil massage part, felt kind of like Swedish style massage. Then we did the hot stones, which was really really nice. That felt so good. After that was a massage with a hot towel on you. Lastly, you flipped over and they did a head + shoulder massage on you. Sound: Relatively quiet. There is music playing in the background. It's an eclectic mix of Asian background music, piano, some Jon McLaughlin, some Yiruma. Was curious what the playlist was. The rooms are not true rooms, but have walls that don't go up to the ceiling, so all the rooms were listening to the same music. Not a real issue for me, because the masseuses and environment was all pretty quiet. There was a moment, when a client came in and spoke very loudly about her foot. There was also a beeping sound every so often, I wondered if that was the heater or laundry or something. Space: simple and clean. no complaints here :) Overall, was very happy with it! My parents loved it. They wondered if there was a membership and wanted to go back regularly. For the people complaining about $10 for tip being too much...just give a good tip to your masseuse. Whether a spa itself charges $100 or $30 for the massage, that shouldn't affect the tip the masseuse herself is able to take home. I love me a good back rub (I lift heavy things for a living) - and I am admittedly cheap. In the sense that I don't want to pay 100 bucks for a massage at some fancy Westchester Spa. I am also married to an American Taiwanese woman with relatives in Flushing (she is a dancer and more of a footrub person) so I have seen my share of budgets massage places. Some better. Some - well - not so much. Now this little gem is a bit different. The main thing that puts this above their competitors is that they actually care about their customers. They will ask you what you want to target that day. And then there is a decent chance the masseuse will actually do what you ask them to do. The place is much cleaner and better managed than all of the other places I have seen. Additionally the masseuses - at least the male ones - seem to know what they are doing and not just make things up as they go. The place can get really busy. Especially on weekends. So make sure to call ahead and make a reservation. For my fellow whities (and other cheap people): Please tip your masseuses generously. They really had a strIct Covid protocol. As soon as you walk in you are required to use hand sanitizer and change shoes. Then one employee leads you to the dressing room with an alcohol spray bottle. They spray down everything in sight in the locker room( handle of your locker, key, inside of locker) until the room is full of alcohol scent. Then you get dressed into a tshirt and shorts that they provide. When you walk out they led me and my mom into a couples room section. We both loved the massage. A week later I treated my mom to a korean aquafacial and it was awesome. A little bit of massage and facial relaxed our tension and our face felt awesome. I was able to book an appointment for Valentine's Day. I can honestly say this was the best massage I have ever received in my life. What made things better was the precautions they took to ensure no germs would be spread. They are very clean, and they take their time. I came here one night after a long stressful week at work, and just needed to treat myself. At first I asked for 60-minute full body massage, but after that was over, I was literally enjoying it so much I asked if I could extend it to 90 minutes. It's literally heaven on Earth. After that first time, I ended up paying for a "membership," and paid $200 for a credit of $250. So it's the equivalent of a 20% discount, but don't base your tip on the discounted price. And for the past month or so, I've been back every week as part of my Friday night ritual. I usually get the massage from this guy named Terry. Got 1 hour massage today based on amazing reviews. What a great experience! Echo other yelpers about this place being clean and staffs being professional, so I won't go into details on that. The place is fairly small, only has about 9 massage beds, so making appointments is vital there. Also, there were more male masseurs than female, so if you have a gender preference, you need to let them know during booking. We happened to be there before 3pm and they offered happy hour special - 1 hr body massage for $28 vs. $35 after 3pm (+$10 tip). Massage itself was really good. My masseur (Peter) spent a lot of time working on my neck, my shoulders, and my lower back (all my problem areas). He spent about 40 mins on my upper body and 10 min each on my leg...it was great! Date night led my wife and I to check out Best Spa. We hadn't been out without the kids in a while so once we lined up a babysitter we began our little adventure. We booked a couples massage a few days in advance. Best Spa seemed pretty accommodating with the scheduling and availability. On the day of we arrived promptly at our scheduled time of 2pm. We were greeted and advised of next steps which was put on these slippers and wait on the couch. Eventually we were brought clothes to put on and pointed to the locker room. After changing into the outfit they provided we waited to be brought to the couples massage room. After being brought in the masseuses came in. My wife had nothing but good things to say about her massage. Mine was great. The woman who massages me really put some work into my aching back. And the price was great. Other places tend to rush you and cut you short on time, but not this place. Also, was pretty clean from what I saw. They're staying on top of COVID-19 regs and ensuring customers are happy and healthy. No issue with tipping as others have noted in the past, so it looks like they addressed that as well. This is one of my favorite places to get a foot massage/body massage in the tri-state area. 1. It's very clean here! You have to take off your shoes at the door, and slip into slippers which have disposable liners. 2. I like that they have lockers for customers to put their personal belongings. 3. Foot massage was awesome! There's a 10 minute shoulder massage before they work on your feet and legs. You'll get a heat pack too to place on your belly or thighs. As the name suggests, this is the BEST spa. Came here on a Saturday with a friend to get some kinks out of my back and was met by a great team who were very polite and understanding when we were a bit late. The spa is a bit different than the ones I am used to going to in Chinatown. You will need to first make sure all of your clothes are removed and placed in a locker. You need to change into their spa clothes (tshirt and shorts) and sandals. For the full body massage, you will be guided into a private room (no doors, just curtains) and told to remove the spa clothes you just changed into. This is very similar to going to the Korean Spa - King Spa as outside clothes and your belongings should be placed in a locker first. I wished more Asian spas are like this. The service was wonderful and my massage therapist was super sweet. She was never attentive and delivered a killer massage. I wished it was longer! 60 minutes was not enough! They do have a happy hr special before (i think) 3 pm every day. Definitely will go back! read more

We used to go here all the time with my husband for an hour massage when Jimmy (I believe) was in charge. He was running everything smooth and also had great personality. It seems like they switched management last month and it just wasn't the same. We got the same (hour massage for both of us) and I immediately noticed jimmy nor any other males was there. I personally do not care but I like a strong massage and even though I couldn't care less about who does my massage , it was noticeable since they usually ask "would you like a male or female?" We changed. And before we head to the room, my massause told me to pee. This was a first. I've been here 10+ times and I've never been told to pee before but I shrugged it off and I thought I'm going to be there for an hour , I might as well pee. We head to the room, this lady comes( who workes there who seems like a new manager) yells about something to my massause who then asks me where my key is. I told her it's in the pocket of the uniform they gave me. She then took it out of the pocket and tied my long hair with the band which was attached to the key. Another first. I just giggled and said ok then. Massage starts, they start talking among themselves which they never did before. My husband enjoyed himself (which made me happy) because he fell asleep. However when they brought the "hot towel" it was not hot. It was just wet and it felt nasty. Once my lady left the room I picked up my head to check my husband and noticed the massause massaging my husband was on her phone with one hand. Like really? If he didn't have such a good time , I would've said something but she got off as soon as the lady came back. We used the yelp coupon, which made them think we were paying separate. Also, there is a language barrier so you have to be patient. I feel like the prices was good but after this experience , I don't think I will be going back. They just went downhill. Overall I do have a issue with the lady working the desk, she has a habit of telling people how much tip to give know matter how many minutes you request, and everyone stands around waiting to see, I don't like that at all because I'm paying my money and of course I will give a tip for the service. This is the second time this has happened to me and they should be grateful for what they get. First time here and came here bc I needed a more softer/medium massage (my usual is a little too hard so I needed a new place) and this place had great reviews. My masseuse was Leo and he did a great job. I had a crazy backache and he loosened all the muscles. He didn't press too hard but hit all the right spots. $35 for an hr was worth it. My back still aches slightly but hours later I felt everything loosen up and I was able to get up and sit down better. Great experience at Best Spa! You're first welcome and to change to slippers while they take your shoes. They give you a locker and clothes to change into and then you're escorted to your massage quarters. You get massaged with a towel on top, oil or lotion massage, hot rocks therapy. I would say the massage is deep tissue so between medium and hard. I also liked the music choice as it was soft contemporary. My masseuse was Jenny was the perfect balance between hard but not too hard. Even as a discounted massage I felt this massage could easily be a top 5 massage for me. I don't really like doing negative reviews...but...my boyfriend and I have had plenty of massages and we both agreed these were the worst massages we've ever had...the girls and ladies were nice which is why I'm giving 2 stars, and we did ask for deep tissue but the second the lady touched me I immediately knew she was not trained. Reason #1: she used all her force and never asked if I was okay with the pressure. Reason #2: she was hardcore elbowing my shoulder blades.... Reason #3: she was hardcore elbowing and pushing down on MY SPINE!! Everyone knows you don't go near the spine! My boyfriend and I both had to tell them softer and his lady didn't even understand that... I don't mind the hard pressure believe me, it was the fact that she felt it was okay to use that pressure on areas that as a masseuse you should know to avoid. We just wanted a quick massage before we had to head back to California, glad we did only 30 mins and not 60... Literally a few hours later in the evening on the airplane back my entire back was hurting! Even today two days later by muscles hurt horribly and anything that touches my spine/back is just so painful! Also, I found changing into the extra clothes was pointless...should have robes instead. My whole family goes here for massages. Their prices are cheap(though not the cheapest you can find in flushing). My brother and sister-in-law, who are avid massage go-ers(they tried so many and get one at least once a month), agree that its one of the best massages they received. We've been here about 4-5 times, each with different masseuse and so far haven't had a bad experience. The building got a shady look but inside is very legit. You change into a uniform(much like king spa or spa castle) and put your stuff into lockers before heading into the massage room. The owner is a sweetheart. One time he overbooked his staff by accident during our appointment, but sincerely apologized profusely and tried his best to make it up to us. Atmosphere is ok....I don't particularly like the alarms that time when the 60 minute mark hits but otherwise it is generally quiet.
