Went here today with my husband for a couples massage and korean body scrub. Both services were excellent and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. You really felt like you were being taken care of because they wanted to. We got to soak in a private hot tub for 20 minutes, then were led to the steam room, scrubbed down, massaged, and finished off in the sauna. The place was extremely clean and very tranquil. We got very lucky because we were the only ones there at that time so we had the whole place to ourselves. Felt like a rooftop garden. Emma who did my massage applied the perfect amount of pressure and paid specific attention to my body. We will be back very soon. read more

A good friend take me here on my birthday. I am not expecting much from this place but the experience is surreal. I enjoyed the full hour body massage treatment and the complimentary sauna. It was a very relaxing and rejuvenating stay. My therapist hits every spot of my body that needs tender love and care. I felt like staying for the possible longest time. Robe and slippers are provided. I heard of its added services like body scrubs, facials, showers and many others pampering and body wellness activities. Probably need to try on next visit. The lobby is so serene with an absolute relaxing decor...flowers and butterflies. Worth staying here while waiting for our turn. Parking is available in the back for no fee. Location is so close to shopping stores and restaurants . I am seeing myself returning. read more

What an amazing first experience! This place came highly recommended by my mom's coworkers so my mom and I each made an appointment to go together. She had the anti-aging facial and I had the 1hr deep tissue massage. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. They had us change into our robes and guided us to our rooms. My mom said the facial felt amazing and rejuvenating. Not only was her face treated, but they extended the facial to her neck and chest. They also included a head massage, arm stretches, and an upper lip wax. For my deep tissue massage, my masseuse (I wish I knew her name) was very attentive. Before she began, she asked if I wanted medium pressure or hard pressure. Given it was my first massage I selected medium to start. I have a lot of tension held in my back, due to working on my feet in healthcare, and she really helped relieve years of tension I've gotten used to living with. I never knew my back could be this relaxed! Lol During the whole experience she made sure to check-in and confirm how I was and if anything was painful. Which I appreciated. Her massage was very thorough and the stretches were so satisfying. After our services we ended our appointments with a few minutes in the sauna which was the cherry on top. I understand now why this place was so recommended and both of us intend on being customers for a long time read more

Relaxing experience. Lovely service. Everyone is so friendly. I received a body scrub, a facial and a massage...all were wonderful! They give you a robe and flip flops to put on. They provide lockers for your belongings. And there is a complimentary salt room! I recommend read more

While I enjoyed the massage the tipping process is poorly handled Envelopes should be provided not handed to the woman handling payment who then told me I should be leaving a higher tip amount very unprofessional read more

As a first time customer, I was excited to try this spa near me; it seemed like the ideal place to relax and chill. The manager or owner was very nice. She gave us all the instructions. My party of 3 all got the 90 mins massage. The massage itself was good, but they kept the door open for most of our session. The lounge area outside was super noisy and it made our what supposed to be a relaxing time, turned into semi stressful. Towards the end, we couldn't take it and asked them to close the door. On top of that, every time their music goes to their next song, there's a loud scratch or noise which was really annoying. read more

Absolutely love this place. Classic K-beauty treatments that's relax and rejuvenate. Exceptionally clean. Staff is attentive and friendly. HIGHLY recommend the body scrub. You'll leave feeling brand new!! Also great parking!!! Just go! Trust me! read more

I've always come to Butterfly Garden Spa and till this day it's proven to continue to be the best spa since I first came here over 3 years ago. In comparison to other spas on LI and NYC, they offer availability (always) for every service, convenient location with parking, services are always optimal and they have the best pricing. Affordability is the main reason. Every spa I go to I look for packages and you tend to get less than on the timing, more on the price and limited services. At Butterfly Garden, you get a combo of 2 or 3 for a great price and duration. The women are friendly and the space is great! I've done a spa party here in the past and haven't stopped coming since. My favorite spa to date! read more

At the end of the great experience; I was told there was a 20% tip and %4 fee to be added on to my bill. The charges totaled $25 over what I expected to spend based on hidden charges. I did ask in advance what the normal percentage for tipping would be and I was told %15. A bit scammed on the price & I don't mind tipping but I like to know what the fees will be in advance. Had a great & respectful couples massage. It included flowers, balloons, and a nice big room. I would return for service but I would definitely expect the spa stick up for unexpected fees next time .... Still worth it low key for the price read more

Language barrier was definitely a problem and we did not receive the treatments we reserved.

Went midweek for a body scrub and 90 minute massage and could not be more impressed and happy when I left. The body scrub as a first timer was definitely eye opening but very professional and felt amazing once I was done. The 90 minute massage was also excellent with deep tissue body work leaving me soft flexible and stress free. The staff was very friendly and kind and facilities were very clean. They also have a nice big parking lot. I would highly recommend visiting! read more

The massage was honestly just okay. Very over price for the service. She was also coughing which was kind of concerning.

This review is way overdue! I had a great massage 03/06/24 but was put on the spot to give way over than what was the expected tip! I was asking for change & instead of saying ok the lady who massaged me made me feel guilty! The owner was not around & I was the last customer! It's just wrong to force a customer to pay more when the tip is already 30% it's the principle & a big turn off no matter how good the massage was! read more

I came here for a one hour massage because they accept the spa wellness gift card which can purchase on after pay lol. The spa had parking underneath and an elevator to take to the second floor. The place was zen and nicely decorated. They welcomed me the moment I walked through the door and brought me to the changing room where they gave me a white comfy robe. Cindy did my massage and she did a great job. She massaged my whole body even my arm pits lol. She even tried to crack joints and stretch my back out which felt so good even though I didnt crack that day for some reason. They say minimum $15 tip but I thought Cindy earned it. She did a great job and the music really set the mood. I would definitely go back and get another massage for this amazing place. read more

Love the front desk person. She is sweet and makes the whole experience as easy as possible. Clean and relaxing spa with a salt room. Great massage, one of the best I've had. read more

Well to start off, the (only professional female) masseuses are all very cute, sweet, caring, & loving. They are very helpful & amazing. Very clean & very attentive. I highly recommend the Korean Body Scrub & the 1 hour massage. Trust me you'll love it ! That being said, body scrub feels so refreshing, rejuvenating skin & so airy. They put you in a nice jacuzzi room to soak in to soften your skin, then they move you to scrub room where they scrub you head to toe. It was so relaxing. I feel like skin is more lighter, a bit red but it's normal, & my skin feels so smooth & light. After they are done, they move you to get the best massage ever! They do have a weekday special going on for massages. 1 hour massage range about $60-65. (not including gratuity) Scrub + 1 hour massage (weekdays only) is $160-165. (not including gratuity) Very peaceful ! read more

I came to this spa with my grandmother and aunt for a relaxing day and to spend time quality time. I was told we were doing scrubs and massages. Wow was that quality time intimate! The staff is super welcoming and kind, my family has come here many times, however, this was my first time and I felt very comfortable with the staff. This is not a spa where you were going to experience glitz and glamour, however, it is clean and they do good work. We booked the scrub/30 min massage. This package includes a jacuzzi soak, time in the sauna, the scrub, a massage, then a siesta in a Himalayan salt room if you would like to. My scrub included a scalp scrub and hair wash--that scalp scrub was DIVINE. I have no complaints about the services. My aunt told me they used to have refreshments readily available, I'm assuming that ended due to Covid so I'm curious if that will once again be offered. My only complaint is that I wish the tub was a little deeper as I'm tall, I also think the tub faucets could use a good scrub (no mold but calcium build up). I've ahead booked my second visit and will be bringing my boyfriend--every visit you leave a new person. read more

Came here for on best friends birthday and we had a spa package a body scrub, a facial , and full body massage. The lady was very nice and welcoming when we came in and very attentive. Making sure we had all we needed to feel comfortable. The place isn't the most gorgeous spa I have ever been to but the staff were very polite and professional. They checked in periodically to ensure we were happy. The body scrub was a first experience for us both and you first sit in a hot Jacuzzi to open your pores. Then you are brought to a room with a table covered with towels and someone washes tou first and the scrubs all the decaf skin of your body and I do mean all!!! Not sure what it was like as an I can't being bathed but I'm thinking it was like this without the scrubbing lol. Then I had the massage and ended with the facial. I forgot to have the facial first because they can kid be uncomfortable and o few like the facial last takes away all the relaxation from the massage. All in all it was a good experience. read more

This has been a great find in the Great Neck area. This little gem has been my go to spot after work for over a year now. To start off, the staff are so sweet and professional. They make you feel so comfortable and relaxed. The owner, Sue, has been a great help in understanding each package you get. She makes the entire experience enjoyable. I would recommend the body scrub, as it leaves you feeling rejuvenated. Then the massage, the staff works with your tolerance, which has proven to be ideal. Overall, this spa is well worth it. Highly recommend giving them a try. read more

This was an absolutely magical honeymoon spot. They welcomed us to the VIP room with multiple workers being reassuring and helping us find our spaces, giving us new robes, and having us settle in. They pampered us for hours leading from a head and foot massage, through the jacuzzi and body wash and wrap leading up to a heavenly massage. All the while we were side by side and bride and groom. All touch was appropriate. The levels of exfoliation followed by wrap led to a massage that was sublime. The VIP room had a jacuzzi for two and two massage tables with a bathroom and a table and chairs to have some foot. There were fresh roses galore. I would highly recommend this place for a honeymoon or simply a get away for one or two. Quite heavenly. Thank you. read more

Always a pleasure to go there. Staffs are very welcoming, place neat and clean. Love ms. Park, she is awesome. Her job quality is great.

Had an amazing experience here, it was our first time and they treated us so well. The manager Sue was extremely friendly and welcoming. We got the hour long Swedish massage which totally hit the spot. After hour massage we were welcome to some complimentary time in the jacuzzi, we were not gonna pass this up. Didn't bring a bathing suit or anything so they did provide some under garments to wear in the jacuzzi. Everything was super clean and nice. They provided robes, slippers and access to a locker room with a shower if needed. They have some great deals here. This is definitely a place I will come back to and visit. read more

Butterfly Garden - Day Spas Near Me - Great Neck, New York

I booked a 90-minute massage for my husband and I for our anniversary. The establishment was nice and clean. They have a parking lot in the rear. They take you to the locker rooms to change and provide you with a robe. One thing I didn't like, they had these reusable slippers that they give people to wear. That made me uncomfortable to think how many put their feet in those slippers But onto the massage. The woman at the front desk was very kind and helpful. When she took us to our room, she began to stress that if they massaged us too hard to let them know. She must've said it like 4 times. Now I see why! My massage lady put her entire forearm and elbow into my back and spine! I did have to tell her to ease up like twice. But I found that the massage still hurt a little bit. I didn't make a fuss because it is a deep tissue massage AND we WERE told to speak up. So these women probably thought they were doing an excellent job lol So just a heads up if you come here... let them know if it hurts. Sometimes people don't want to ruin the mood and just sit there and take the pain. But if you're paying for a service you should be satisfied. Overall I was happy and will probably go back again. But I will be telling them to use soft hands! read more

Two days ago I Went there with my wife. She enjoyed her massage more than I did. I don't think that the whole experience was worth $100 per person but that wasn't the main issue. Got to the point I needed to pay, which I did. The owner of the place reminded me that Tip was not included ( I don't like when people do it). I said ok and left $10 for each therapist. Than the owner of the place told me that she is sorry but they have a minimum $15 tip policy. I was shocked! You can't make me leave tip. She said that's how her ladies earn their money. I told her that it's not my problem she don't pay her people and it's not ok she puts me in that corner. I don't think I would be coming back again :( read more

Sue at the front desk, and Cindy providing the most heavenly massage were a great combination. Besides the basic requirements of a quality massage, and efficient service, a clean facility, there was an additional issue which I find so rare, nowadays: People who are cordial and kind, and both Cindy and Sue provided both. Am very happy to return soon. read more

Definitely worth the trip and price. I have been looking for a spa that wasn't too far for sometime. I live in Queens. But I wanted more than a massage and this place delivered. My mom purchased Package C which included a body scrub, body wrap and an hour massage. A belated birthday gift. Totally worth it. I walked in tired and stressed to only leave feeling so rejuvenated once I was done with everything. The owner Sue was very sweet the minute I entered. She kept checking on me making sure I was ok. I will say this spa is different because you have to undress completely which was new to me. But I was cool with it. They give you a robe and slippers. There is locker with a key to pack all your stuff away and you walk with your key. No jewelry, no phone etc. which I'm okay with because I want my peace. Genders are separated. So that's good for privacy when getting undressed. Since I did a package deal, I was able to get in the jacuzzi before my scrub and I loved it!!! Very private!!! Then after all that they have a mediation room available over the weekend for free. For this Spa place have to book an appointment no walk-ins which I agree. Definitely you have to tip more than $15 which I think is fair. They also have a VIP room which I didn't get to book but I definitely will for my boyfriend and I just to relax next time. read more

Was looking for a bath house for my fiancés bday and stumbled upon butterflies page. This place looked more intimate and clean. I booked us a message and body scrub for two in the VIP room. As a prior licensed massage therapist Im very particular when it comes to exposing specific body parts as the session goes on and i never once felt uncomfortable. Everyone was professional and i never felt rushed. Great place to escape and relax. I would definitely recommend the VIP room for anyone celebrating. The services are exceptional. Im so happy to have given it a try. They have specials during the week take advantage. read more

Took my husband here for a spa day for Father's Day. For the two of us I spent $290 on 30 min reflexology (foot massage) and 60 min (deep tissue massage) for 2. The woman who booked our appointment (Sue) was sooooo accommodating and sweet. She made sure we had the absolute best experience and my husband left feeling so relaxed. My only suggestion is that they should have heated towels and the relaxation music should have been a bit louder. We could clearly hear the chatter outside of our room which made it hard to relax. I am looking forward to my next visit read more

Quiet little oasis right near center of town. Lovely ambiance as if you were in a tropical paradise complete with Tiki thatched hut. Rooms surround the courtyard and a small cottage is set in the middle. In that small cottage is a beautifully assembled salt room. Dry and warm this is the perfect destress meditation oasis I was looking for. Worth coming just for this. I had reflexology and fell in to a relaxing deep sleep. Lee was gracious and assisted me carefully in my post knee surgery moves. There are private rooms and VIP for couples and they have back walking too! I will be back read more

Okay before I begin my review I just want to say that I have NEVER been to a spa before nor have I ever had a professional massage done. I booked a one hour couple's massage for my wedding anniversary as well as the VIP room. Since we went during the week day we got a discount on the package. I was hesitant coming during COVID but they really did a great job taking the proper precautions. The changing room was clean, the VIP was very clean with fresh sheets, and the staff all wore masks. The VIP room was beautifully decorated with flowers and scented candles. We were allowed to bring our own drinks and food to eat on the little table they provided for us. The massage was so relaxing and the jacuzzi was a perfect way to finish off. We had a great time and the manager Sue was very helpful plus the price was exactly what she told me. My husband already wants to go back! read more

10/10 i would recommend to all my friends and family! My sister and her best friend and I went for a spa day not knowing how brand new our skin would feel after getting a body scrub, it was such a wonderful experience. After that we went to get our massages and let me tell you i feel as if i have a brand new back! They are all highly qualified in rubbing out all the tension and stress from your body . Like i said 10/10 I truly recommend this place to everyone. They are very nice and accommodating , I suggest calling ahead to make reservations just to make sure they are available at the time you come in for the services. So if you are in need of a self care day or want to try out a spa and not sure where to go, trust me you will LOVE! This place ! I sure know we did and will be visiting again soon! read more

Ambiance: The place is beautiful. I loved the "Botanical Garden" Vibe in the center. We used the VIP room which comes lightly decorated. A single rose on each bed and one bouquet of flowers. Could have been more extravagant (be sure to request it). The tub gets heated nicely and when you book the VIP room you get that room for 1 hour after your service. Service: Everyone was very kind and welcoming. Phone manners were impeccable. My massage was so bad, I wondered if she was a licensed professional. She deliberately looked for bones to massage. I should have ended it abruptly but didn't want to disturb my partner who was enjoying his massage. I don't recommend the massages. Food: None. You can bring your own if hosting your own event. Recommended for groups celebrating occasions. Stick with body scrubs and maybe facials. Cleanliness: They offer masks. Floors were clean. Tub was clean could be better around the edges. They use clean white sheets on the massage tables. Cons: Mandatory Tip. (2) Meter parking read more

Another excellent experience at Butterfly Garden. Opted for scrub, massage, facial package. Was quiet when I arrived shortly after 10am on Christmas Eve. Cindy provided the excellent antiaging facial - so much massaging of face, neck and shoulders - loved it. I do not recall the names of the women who provided the scrub and massage, but they were very good!! I was not offered use of the steam room this time, but that's ok as I did not have time. Will be back in a few short weeks! read more

My wife told me all she wanted for her birthday is go to the spa! I told her I'll take her but I won't participate. So on our way, she convinced me to do it with her. So upon our arrival, we went into separate rooms to change. Then we went into the jacuzzi and listen I started to Melt!! After some time, the ladies came and took us into the next room! They scrubbed my body down!!! They removed so much dead skin!!! Kimberly and Carr (I hope it is spelled right) did my wife and I. They scrub front, back, and if you want they will wash your face and/or hair. Then we sat in the steam room for a few minutes and came back for the massage. I booked the 30 minutes massage and regretted not doing the 60 minutes. The ladies talked with us and laughed with us. It was so worth it!!!! I'll be back next month!!! read more
