Had a bad experience painful and costly, when I used a competitor and voiced my opinion, they bashed me personally and the competitor who had no idea or particpation in the review. Do no use them for fibroblast, actually used pen directly in wrinkle and not around at all - this is 4th time I have had this service and never had them do it this way. Do not recommend. This massage hut the spot. Everything was nice and clean. Staff was especially kind and professional. I went with my boyfriend, he said his masseuse was a little rough .. but they do ask you if you're comfortable as they go. The only thing I can complain about .. it was a little pricey. $60/ person should include a hot stone; hot towel; or even a little aroma therapy. I thought it was a lot for JUST a massage. More expensive than other foot massage locations but I can see why - their location is beautiful and relaxing. Their masseuses are well trained and focus on your trouble areas instead of just going through a routine. It's comfortable and doesn't feel sketchy at all. I work in a customer service industry so I understand that tipping is essential to someone making a living. That being said a visit to the new 9 Spa in Roslyn Heights where a very nice foot massage can be had for $28.00. A $7.00 tip was given and then it was told to me that the tip is $10.00 and that's how the staff gets paid. EXCUSE ME ???? I believe a 25 % tip I gave was more then adequate for the staff. Am I supposed to pay their salary with my tip ??? Perhaps they should say that up front ! These are not licensed therapists mind you but even a licensed therapist does not demand a tip. Thanks for the visit but i will not be back and unless you want to be harassed for tip money ( by one of the owners no less ) steer clear of the fancy decor. read more

Delightful surprise. I get massages a lot and always look for a good deal. This place, as noted before, is a bit more pricy than the others but well worth it. The staff are very friendly and the front desk is happy to relay your requests to focus on specific areas to your practitioner. At times it feels like the staff is overworked, hence the lack of consistency in sticking to scheduled appointments and quality of massages being at a consistently high level every time. This is the sister spa of the very well-known 9 Foot Spa in Great Neck, but much bigger and nicer. And therapists here are all great, they get right into the knots and break up that tension better than anyone. I've been going there for years and so happy that they opened this one, with much bigger room and such beautiful environment.... I love trying different massage shops and have been to some of the best that NY has to offer. With that said, this place won't blow you away, but it'll get the job done. It is very clean and well kept, but it did smell a little weird in there (kinda like wet socks). However, the massage was above average and the masseuse was able to work out my knots and paid closer attention to the areas that had more knots. Its a bit on the expensive side for the quality and there are cheaper options that offer the same level of service. The staff as well as the owner are completely friendly and will bend over backwards to accommodate the clients. The prices are very fair for the services which they provide for. As far as tipping, I have NEVER felt pressure by anyone there. The therapists are extremely knowledgable and professional. I have recommended this spa to all my friends and family. I came here for a 30 min full body massage. The place was extremely clean and the rooms smelled amazing. The staff was very friendly and concerned with how much pressure they were applying, which was nice as that was something I was afraid of. I loved the ambience. Very simple, yet nicely decorated and quiet. I felt so much better after my session and the price was great. They offer water and chocolates afterward while you're being rung up. 9 Spa is a unique place. It is the Waldorf-Astoria of Massage Spas. It is elegantly decorated, and has a plush feeling to it. One initially expects an exceptional experience at the 9 Spa because of the beauty of the place, and it delivers. This spa has many rooms decorated for beauty,privacy,quiet, and relaxation. One room is dedicated for couples massage, another room is for foot massage, and another for a full body massage. Since I asked for a foot massage, I was escorted to the appropriate room. It was dimly lit and quiet. The massage began during the time my feet were soaking in warm water, as the masseuse massaged my back, neck and head when my feet were soaking. The foot massage proper was excellent as the masseuse varied the pressure when I asked her to do so , and used various massage techniques that relaxed my feet and consequently my body. She worked diligently and purposely. One could see that she was very experienced. The foot massage included a leg rub down that felt great. This massaged ended with a hot towel foot rub down. The price for this exceptionally good foot massage was 28 dollars. I certainly got my moneys worth. The entire experience was one of the best foot massages I have had. This is my first review ever and its because I think this place really deserves a good review. I've frequented Chinese spas in Chinatown, Flushing, Douglaston, Westbury, New Hyde Park, etc. What sets this place apart is ambiance. There's usually a ghetto feel to all the Chinese places but the decor, music, furniture here is so warm, inviting, professional, new, and neat. For the massages, they deserve more thumbs up because it doesn't fall short of expectations. If you're looking for a caress-me type massage, this place isn't for you. They work it in hard and that's how massages should be. All in all, I will be here every week until I give birth for the foot massages and will be back for their body massages. Oh! I haven't mentioned it but prices here are competitive and comparable to all other Chinese massages considering the area. So excited to have this business in the area! read more
